15% coupon is through Sony Rewards, you have to activate a "ticket" and sign up for trials of playstation services
 
Was wondering if the year end Christmas sales/New Years sales are usually better than their Black Friday sales? I dont remember myself as I always just buy stuff. Have a 20% off coupon and wanted to maximize its value.

Problem is it was for PS Plus subs only, and pretty sure it's was the same stuff thats on sale now.

Someone mentioned there could be the flash sale on monday since it's "cyber monday" but who knows now.

I doubt it, if there going to be more sales then it'll just be the regular Tuesday. Other then that the next big sales would be Christmas deals with part 1 and part 2.
 
I'm disappointed that I bought a $20 PSN card to put money on my account, even if I did pay $17 for it at Family Dollar.

I wanted cheap indies for Black Friday. Oh, well.

I'm pretty sure Sony just decided to let Microsoft take over with mediocre deals

I've always owned both consoles and never had any doubt that PS saved me the most but now I barely buy from PSN and I don't think there is any debate that gwg games are better a majority of the time

also xbox credit is very easy to get for a discount and I struggle much more with psn credit (digital credit I don't shop at stores or wait for mail)

 
I'm debating whether to buy to the games I want now or hold off until Monday to see if the flash sale happens then. I have NBA Live 18, NFS: Rivals Complete Edition, Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection, and Mirror's Edge Catalyst in my cart.

I have some friends who play and it is very much a team based squad shooter. You cannot go off on your own and survive like you can in games like COD and such. It also takes time to get good and learn the neuances of the game. I would advise to not pick it up and go for a more casual shooter if your more or less looking for something to pick up and play.

Since the current sale ends tuesday morning.. there is NO reason to purchase before monday afternoon/night. (unless you can't be near your PS4/PC/Mobile) and the 15-20% coupons don't expire before then.

Pretty sure there isn't anyone here that does not have a backlog either..

I picked up Livelock because that sale ends monday for some reason. Everything else in my cart ends Tuesday, so I'll wait it out.

Currently in holding formation for X-com 2 deluxe and NFS Rivals. [i plat'd rivals... but that price is too good and I think i want to own all nfs digitally]

Pick it up if youre into tactical games. I started alone and got used to it really quick (maybe because I played a lot of Search and Destroy back in the day). Now I got some friends to get the game and we have lots of fun.

Game is still getting content, and its free! Next dlc should be dropping sometime next week.

Yeah, I'm gonna stay patient and see what happens on Monday. No need in possibly missing out on some other good deals. I can work through my PS4 backlog in the meantime for sure.

Probably wasn't the regular flash sale, still. It was on a Friday around the same time they usually appear. Pre-black friday on a Friday with the actual sale on there regular schedule tuesday. Obviously we weren't going to get one on actual black friday because of like I said we had one, the people are on vocation so yeah.

Just got a PS4 Pro. I currently use my regular PS4 with an external hard drive. Can I just unplug it from my regular PS4 and plug it into the Pro and still be able to access all my games once I add my PSN ID? Or is there some loophole bullshit I gotta do?

I sure hope it's easy that's why I keep all my modern games on externals for future hardware replacements

I did the exact same thing earlier this year and it was incredibly easy. Just plug it in and you should be good!

It wasn't a flash sale. It was early access to the same sales everyone else got later in the week. That's not even remotely a flash sale.

I'm not sure why you think BF was off limits... clearly people have BF sales despite being on vacation elsewhere? Even sony has, in the past.

I'd be really really really surprised if they did anything monday

but I'm also surprised that we didn't see a Thursday/flash sale or at the very least some discount codes or a 100/15 deal

I didn't even get my friday psn email yet

 
Got the Friday email - no code.  This year was a blink sale & we all missed it.  See ya Monday.

Like I said it still started on a friday even if it wasnt a flash sale. They wasn't going to have it on this Friday cause it was the last friday of the month. Also you gotta consider there workers be on holiday vocation to even put the sales up. Besides they would of probably said part 2 later in the week.

Yet everyone else had new deals up friday, Sony must be the best company out there to force everyone to not work. And there is this new fangled technology out there that allows someone to schedule something ahead of time! I know, it's insane!

I'm not saying there will be one monday... Just saying it won't hurt to hold off until monday before you buy "just in case". I was sure there would be one Thursday because they have always had one.

I find it real odd that they did not have one this month. (no the early access does not count..) And if they decided to run the "flash sale" as a week long sale... instead of two separate sales like normal.. (normal weekly sale, plus flash sale on weekend) It's not the norm for Sony. Thus causing all the confusion.

Sony should have explained things a little better.
