I want to buy Dragon's Crown, but the Vita version being $10 less than MSRP isn't really an incentive. After all, PS3's MSRP is at $49.99 and Vita's at $29.99, but both having the same sale price is a bit meh. Oh well.

That's what I did with Devil Summoner a few weeks back, and then they put Nocturne out. I'll probably buy it as well...though I'll at least look at it first. I know nothing about those games.

I went and checked on my Vita tonight just for the heck of it before reading this update. I got the Trials earlier and the Vita Collection showed up free tonight, I hit download purchase complete. My PS3 trials changed over to the full games as well. Woohoo! Not too shabby.

For me, this has fixed the problem 100%. I was looking for a solution when downloading FF X HD remake, and since then successfully downloaded both FF-X, P4G and GOW in sleep mode on battery power. The fix worked for many others as well, as you can see in the thread I linked.

You would think with all the patches sony puts out they would have fixed this bug. Now I have to remember to check my vita later.

Borderlands 2 for vita is actually a real good port from Iron Galaxy. It looks almost the same on ps3, the only thing is fewer enemies on screen at a time and some fps drops. I say it was worth the $25 i spent on it.  solid 7.5/10 for me

Anyone else not able to get into BL2? I tried it, and I like shooters and RPGs alike, but I just couldn't get into it. Might've been the save system that did it for me though. Kept getting transported ALL the way back and I couldn't stand having to go through all the same foes again. Glad I got it with PS+ cause I probably would've bought it otherwise.

Well that's how action RPGs generally work and that's what it is even though you play it from an FPS perspective with guns. If you didn't play with four people that also doesn't help since the game is at it's best with a full group.

 
So I grabbed the first two God of War games on the PS3 a year ago when they accidentally went free (not just the trials). I checked the webstore after hearing all this hoopla about the Vita version being free with the glitch; I hadn't even paid enough attention beforehand as to whether the Vita version was even supposed to be cross-buy.

Anyways, I go to the store, and without even having to do anything else the Vita version shows up as free. I buy it, go over to my Vita and hit the download list, and see this:

From what I can tell, it's removed the license from the previous versions of GoW on the PS3 (presumably, they'd've had the standard PS+ limitation of my subscription end date, but I can't check my PS3 at the moment as it YLOD'd last week) as they don't show up if I scroll back to last May in my download history, and replaced it with the license from my Vita version purchase. Is this going to make me doubly screwed whenever they crack down on this?

Given that I'm from NY, my hatred of Boston teams is genetic so I approve of this. I'd actually be okay with the Patriots, but I just can't stand Tom Brady or Bill Belichick. The minute those two drop dead is the minute I stop hating the team.

Oh wow, they got Iron Galaxy to do the port? No wonder it's so good. They're one of the few devs I'm admittedly a fanboy of (because Capcom game ports with online with amazing netcode, PC port of Minerva's Den, D&D: Chronicles of Mystara, Wreckateer (one of the only good Kinect games) and Divekick). I'd still rather not play BL2 on a Vita, but I'm no longer convinced that it'll be a shit port.

Yeah, so I take back Demon Gaze being 'safe'. It's pretty darn risque. I mean, the undies as an armor slot really, really should have given it away. Loving it as a dungeon crawler, though.

The issue is that it can be read two ways depending on how you break down the phrase - basically, whether 'power save mode' refers is a vita state or a wifi state:

1) Keep Wi-fi On WHILE in power save mode -- aka, use wifi while vita is in power save modes like suspend, etc. basically, use wifi while vita is in power save mode.

OR

2) Put Wi-Fi functionality INTO power save mode -- aka, turn off wifi automatically whenever it can to save power. basically, put wifi into a power save mode.

So, completely ambiguous because it can be easily read both ways. Terribly written, overall.

I have mine CHECKED and it always downloads in suspend mode just fine.

So I know this is unlikely and just wishful thinking on my part, but with the absence of War for Cybertron in the PSN deals I'd be happy with it as a freebie in the coming months...

Nope, and yeah. I'm annoyed because the PSP one never goes on sale. NIS (they do the PSP one, plus D2, plus Prinny 1+2, plus ZHP) hasn't had a sale in about two years.

 
Did everyone get to excited about GoW last night that they forgot to play some free footy? It's a decent time and seems like an easy enough plat. I'd be nice if they had more than a few real actual teams though. And I can't figure out how to make the ball light on fire like in Mario Soccer. That happens in all soccer matches right?

God of War 1 is fun... until you get to that damn exploding crate pushing bit. Nearly rage quit, but finally got through it. The game play's well on Vita. Looks pretty good too.
 
So does the Vita release of the God of War Collection share a trophy set with the PS3 version? If it's a double plat, I may wind up picking up the Vita version sometime in the future.

While this isn't as big a factor for me since I have yet to plat GoW1/2, I'd like to know if they share a list, as well.

 
They do not share a trophy list or saves. I started both versions last night. Vita version gets the job done, but I'll definitely only be continuing on PS3.

I don't know if they (GoW Vita/PS3) share trophies and I don't really care. The PS Vita version is good. I didn't side-by-side compare to the PS3 version, but it looked good to me. The only slight knock is that it uses the back touch panel for things like opening chests and pushing crates. It works fine, though, as they aren't things that require lighting reflexes.

I'm in the minority, but I find Borderlands 2 to be much more fun solo than coop. It would be good to play coop on a 2nd play, but for a first play through it sucks unless you are the uber gamer that is always in the lead. As such I'm interested in the Vita version. But no funds, so I wait for the glitch!

I had a really tough time getting into BL2 as well but God forbid you express that around here. Said that in the XBL thread once and practically had my head torn off over there.
