I think someone already answered this, but no, God of War isn't auto-pop. Besides the 2 you mentioned, the only other game I can think of with auto-pop is Motorstorm RC.

The listing on the pc store does not mention anything about cross buy, while the EU specifically mentions it. The EU version launched 4-16-14.

 
I don't know why everyone hates GoW: Ascension. The multiplayer was fun and it's pretty much the same game as the previous ones except a little easier which is alright with me because what kind of action game uses right stick for dodging? I could never get used to that.

 
Other than the first two games, has there been a single, entire team who has worked on the GOW series? As pointed out already, 3 and Ascension weren't done by the original teams. The two PSP games were done by an entirely different studio. Sure Ascension wasn't AS good as the other games, but it was in no way, shape, or form a BAD game. Go back to GameFAQs with the other 11 year olds if you think that's the case.

I don't understand the idea that a sequel can only be good if it's worked on by the same exact people who did the first. Do people not realize how shitty games would be if there was never any change and it was just the same people doing the same shit all the time. Every fucking game would be like a Rockstar turd.

You thought it was easier? I thought it was tougher with some really cheap sections thrown in. And OMG that part where the camera zooms WAY out and Kratos and enemies all basically look like ants. That was terrible.

I like dodging with the right stick.

 
In the god of war bonus footage that came with the collection on ps3 they said that the one of the original visions of god of war 3 was going to have kratos defeating the gods of Olympus which would then create a void where peole would turn to other gods to worship and kratos would then go on to slaughter those as well. They had mentioned Norse mythology and battles with Thor and Odin.

Update fail? Daylight was last week, so there shouldn't be a green N next to it. There's no mention of Sportsfriends, Titan Attack, or MLB 14 The Show...I've noticed that this has been happening far more frequently in these past weeks.

When the Sly Collection is available for Vita, they could easily change the description page for the PS3 version to mention it's cross-buy. I doubt the God of War Collection PSN Store page mentioned anything about cross-buy until the Vita version was released. We didn't even know GoW was crossbuy til the day it launched.

I'm not saying you're wrong, just that I think it's too early to tell if the Sly Collection will be crossbuy or not here. I honestly think it will be.

That would actually be great if they got that aggressive. It might make sense now to try something. 3DS seems to be slowing slightly in big releases (could change at E3). Even if they have only 1 surprise AAA title along with the new Borderlands bundle, match it up with the shitload of indies, and the IGC and you might convince people to give a shit. Sell it Sony sell it!

Anyone know if 64GB Vita cards have dropped under 100$?

Considering buying one since I'm doing a ton of travelling this summer, and I see they are 109 on Amazon
 
I guess this is an unpopular opinion around here, but I was disappointed with God of War 3.  The story definitely wasn't as good as the first two.  Ascension I had lowered expectations for since everyone kept saying it sucked, but I enjoyed it for what it was.  The first PSP game was just OK, but the second one was really good, I thought.

I'd rank them GoW1 (just because it was the first and I've played it a ton) > GoW2 > Ghost of Sparta > GoW3 > Ascension > Chains of Olympus >>>>> Dante's Inferno.

Because really, even the worst God of War game is better than most any other hack 'n slash.

So basically every bit as bad as I expected and a whopping $10 discount. Considering it will probably be $10-20 off at retail within a month, two at most, I wouldn't go near that upgrade. Especially if you factor GCU in. At least we'll be able to know for free if after a year of delays it's a complete wreck.

Agreed. It's more that MM is one of their top studios right now and it's for something that's technically an alpha prototype. That they would be expecting the game in 2015 would seem to indicate that Morpheus (or whatever they call it for retail) is probably going to be officially announced and detailed at E3 and pegged for 2015.

I read the post explaining Transistor. They explicitly mentioned it has a Platinum, which made me laugh a bit. Yes, Sony, the $19.99 indie game can get a platinum, but not the retail ones which have sold considerably.  :dunce:

Speaking of sly cross buy, I tried adding the full game trials to my account in case that works again. Sly 2 is good for 365 says, but sly 3 will expire in 15.2xxxxxxxxx01 days -- before the Vita collection releases. Never seen that sort of super long decimal expiration before.

I did. GAF is flipping the fuck out too. I understand the precedent is bad, but holy shit people just buy the $60 version and keep it forever. All this flipping out over $10.

That being said, who is going to pay $50 to upgrade and lose it if you stop PS+ when you can get the full version for $60 anyway. Maybe if it was a $20 or $30 upgrade but $50? To me it's a non-issue, only idiots would buy that $50 upgrade in the first place.

I tried the same thing and got that same weird number. But I did it yesterday and it was 15.xxxxxxxx as well. So just wait til it's less than 15 days til Sly vita comes out and then add it to your download history.

 
Kmart had a crazy deal on Driveclub. $40 back in store credit and stacked with a coupon. Catch being...you have to shop at Kmart. Dead now though. I have my doubts as to whether they'll even honor it.
