Uncharted GA was a great first game for my vita. Sure, the touch screen bosses sucked, but i really loved being able to 'draw' my climbs.

Uncharted: Fight for Fortune was a pretty solid ccg, mired only by lack of real life opponents. The ai simply wasn't good enough imo, especially if your cards were amped from playing GA.

The plots are all mystical and off the wall, but UC3 had some really major holes and pacing issues that made it harder to suspend belief and get into the game.

Nate shoots Talbot in the chest and he shows up again later, just fine? Ok, there was a hallucinogen involved, right? But then what's the whole :fuck:ing game about if they don't really need the Djinn?

The sequence with Ramses and the ship was fun to play through, but its a big investment of time for no real payoff or overall plot impact.

Why the hell are those spiders in France? Why was so much of the last chapter a mirage?

It's still a great game. It's flaws are just more in your face than Uncharted 2's (UC2 had its own quirks, like Lazarevic's magic blue-giant-killing shotgun).

So I guess I fall in the consensus that 2>3>1, but they're all worth a playthrough and it really is a great series.

Oh, but that plane sequence though! Brilliant stuff. I would skip to that chapter and have friends play it so they could enjoy the brilliance. Just like I would have them play the opening train climb in U2.

As soon as U4 comes out, I will spring for the PS4. This is generally understood in my household. The wife won't make too much of a peep, as she tolerates my need for all things Nathan Drake.
 
Loved Golden Abyss also. Was my first Vita game and after using the motion aiming I figured all games on Vita would use that, but haven't seen it duplicated yet. Maybe Killzone did? Haven't played that yet.

The story overall in 2 was just better than the story in 3.

Also, 2 had a lot more of Claudia Black (Aeryn Sun from Farscape).

And yes, she helps me masturbate.

Just thinking about it, all I remember from 2 is the train sequence and Nathan looking at Chloe's butt.

There was hiding from the tank in the Tibetan city too right? That was great.

But, yeah, Claudia Black.

She was also Morrigan in Dragon Age.

I just realized she's the Mila to my Jay.

Wait, you didn't do any of the co-op? That's the best part of UC3 by far. I normally hate that stuff, but I have to say - you're missing out.

Edit: Hey, if you want to do the co-op, I'll help you with it, and I bet we could get a third CAG pretty easily. I remember thinking I was good at Uncharted games because I could beat them on Crushing... until I played co-op! At the end you'll be five times the player you were when you started. :)

My version of Uncharted 1 lets me save the game so I don't have to start over every time. It's a real time-saver.

You mean when you drop down? You can look down even when hanging from a ledge. Press and hold down. Hanging form a ledge allows you to drop, I think it's, one block further since you are lower when you drop.

 
That lag in the Vita TV PS4 link. That's pretty bad. Does the Vita have less lag when used for Remote Play?

I didnt have any lag playing outlast on the vita, bigger problem is the R2 and L2 buttons being mapped to the back touchscreen. but then again i was maybe 10 feet away.

 
$179.99 sounds about right. Then for $199.99 you get a copy of Borderlands 2 at a discount, but if you don't care about BL2 you can get it without for a bit less. Hopefully more color options will be available. I kind of like the yellow one. Yeah.

The best experience I have had with Remote play was Infamous. They mapped some of the bigger attacks to the front touch screen, which is a lot easier to use then the back due t response. I have remote played numerous games including resogun, NBA, FIFA, MADDEN, Infamous... No lag and I am on the second floor while the PS4 is below me...

 
It's too bad they couldn't seem to pull off lag-free play on the Vita-TV. That is the main feature I was interested in. Without that it's pretty worthless. Maybe it would have worked better if he had the Vita-TV closer to the PS4? He did say he had it as far away as possible in his house.

 
yeah remote play works fantastically for me.

for those that are new to skullgirls with ps+, what do you think? I know it's a fighting game so most of you will skip it, but as far as small team indie endeavors go I think it's pretty impressive. and also big band, a big fightin brass section.
 
The only fighting game I've liked is Divekick. Well, that and Street Fighter something or other on my iPhone, because they made it super easy to pull off all those dumb controller gymnastics moves. Ha ha!

Total: 245

Who would possibly buy the Vita on its own when the bundle components could be sold off so easily? The 8gb alone would make the bundle more worthwhile. At a $20 price difference there's no reason for anybody to buy the Vita outside of the bundle.

 
Oh yeah. I forgot about the 8GB card. Hmm. Maybe I'll buy one, sell my fat Vita, 8 GB card and BL2. Maybe break even? I will think about it! But yellow!

I didn't do the co-op, and the game's deleted so I won't be re-downloading it.

I tried to boot up co-op last night just to check it out, and it told me I had to purchase it. I'm not sure if the co-op portion was free with the PS+ version of the game anyway...there were a lot of people on PS Trophies complaining about the same thing because there is a bronze trophy for co-op that they couldn't get.

They don't usually happen that frequently. It's usually do one a month, it just happened that May's was super early.

But we'll see, they could always change things.

 
They should bundle a Yellow Vita-2000 with BigFest. I'd do that, but then I'd have to sell BigFest to break even. I'm OK with this, though. I suck at those management games. Always go bankrupt.

It was just the single-player that is free for PS+.

 
Uncharted 3 competitive multiplayer is free on PS+ too. I have that. But "Cooperative modes, additional Levels, and Game Modes sold separately".

I played some of Uncharted 1, but ended up getting diverted after a while. I think maybe I should jump to Uncharted 2 since probably I've got the same UC1 affliction as the Professor.

Watch UC1 movie cut on YouTube if you do that. The best parts of 2 won't hit home if you skip the relationship building from 1.
