I had no interest in having kids until I was 30 or so. Had my son at 31 and daughter at 36. I definitely wasn't ready before then. I wanted to make sure we were financially ready to have them. I just wasn't "mature" enough before then. I enjoyed my party time through my 20's, as did my wife, though she's a few years younger than I. But yeah when I was your age, I felt the same exact way.


On topic- I have never been successful selling beta codes on eBay, my listings always get pulled right away.

I wasn't ready either, but had to get ready or else. Now that he's here I wouldn't change it for the world. He really is an awesome kid and a lot of fun.

Different people are ready at different ages. For example, I had my first kid at 25 since my wife was 6 years older than me and you never really know how long the process will take.

However, some people may never want kids. Just like everything else, we should be happy that people are not all the exact same and want different things out of life. Otherwise the world would be pretty damn boring.

Just because we may have gone from not wanting kids to wanting kids does not mean everyone else will take the same path. I realize you may not have meant it that way, but I just felt that needed to be said. There are a lot of people in this thread that seem to think if they do or don't enjoy something that everyone else should think the same way.

 
Playstation Now codes selling on ebay too. Oh. Well, I don't have one of those and I guess I won't be getting one. E3 ones end today, right? But I'd probably keep that one, actually. I want to try that more than I want to try another FPS.

What I have learned today is that when Tyler rants against a game and wishes he'd never bought it, even for a small amount of money, he actually likes it. Which makes me feel a lot better about his rants against Spelunky. Also now I understand why he bought it twice.

I regret dropping $10 on Spelunky the first time I bought it. No regrets dropping $3.75 on the 3x cross-buy purchase the second time.

And so we're clear, it is possibly to like a game but still be disappointed by it.

Luftrausers was a decent game. I liked my 3 hours with it. I didn't like the controls very much, and the gameplay got old to me fairly quickly (which is partially due to the fact I didn't like the controls and partially due to the fact that it's a mobile game and you just play one level over and over). The game certainly has more then 3 hours of content built into it,but I was basically able to get all but 1 of the easily-accessible trophies in 3 hours and the gameplay definitely wasn't strong enough to hook me and make me want to play any longer than that.

So I liked the game. 6/10. I regret paying $5, recommended buy price for others is $2-$3, or just wait for it on PS+.

I don't know how much more clear I can be so that people stop twisting my words around. And sorry Vlambeer, plz don't cry. Look, I just picked Holland to make the World Cup finals. That should make you happy right? Right?

Anyways, fuck, the only reason I came here was to say that the new Lara Croft downloadable game can be played single player if you don't want to do co-op, which is nice.

 
Ok, but how you can not regret paying $3.75 for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th copy of a game that you don't like? Or do you actually like Spelunky? Me confused!

I don't hate Spelunky. I'd probably give it a 6/10 too. It's just a game that pisses me off so much.

Edit-DLing it now, 6.7GB...well it actually says the DL will be ready in 13 hours

I dont hate Spelunky, but I do wholeheartedly believe it to be overrated. I've played it a fair amount and had some fun, but I can't see myself ever going back to it. Just no lasting appeal.
