Exactly how I thought, yet I've seen my roommate dump a couple hundred hours into it and Animal Crossing.

I absolutely love New Leaf because it's easy to pick up and you can do the daily activities in a good 1-2 hours a day while you do other things but the controls were the best of the series. Stardew was just iffy to me. I definitely get the cult surrounding it and I wanted to enjoy it so much but it's just one of those games that didn't click with me. I'm kinda jealous of all the people that have so many hours devoted to it though. Thankfully I didn't get any trophies from it so it's not permanently on my card.

But that was the appeal. Seeing a giant penis and seeing people's reaction. Uno was a trolls paradise.

And you could meet some cool people too. I heard the XONE version actually got updated for camera support but I have a feeling the PS4 version probably hasn't and even if it did I'm sure a lot less people have a PS Camera compared to a Kinect.

Does it still include local co op? Other then those two there aren't really any titles I'm dying to have right now and plus I have way too many games I need to beat already.

I will fully admit I complain every time Spyro and Crash don't show up for a flash sale. I just want my damn nostalgia at a cheap price, Sony!

That being said, the Vita got a decent enough selection assuming you are part of their core focus of dungeon crawlers, visual novels, and adorable Japanese games. I already have an Atelier game in the backlog otherwise I would be biting for a new one this sale.

Seriously? The Marvel pack isn't bad? $40 for a PS3 launch title and its sequel? I have heard it is minimally remastered. There is no way that should be $40. At $20 I'd probably get it, but even that price doesn't seem particularly good due to the age of the original games and the quality of the remaster.

Thinking about jumping on Titanfall 2. It's been on a lot of people's Best of 2016 lists and $30 doesn't seem too bad.

He made his comments about his personal interests in games and his over-abundance of backlog rather than broadly stating the whole sale is shit. There's not much I want in this sale, but that doesn't mean there isn't good value for other people.

Sigh, MEC is really hard for me to recommend. I loved the first game, one of my all time favorites, but MEC just misses the mark in so many places. The whole forcing the game in to an open world thing was such a fatal move because with the delays and playing the finished product it's so evident they had to make drastic cuts and scale back there ambitions at the end to get it out the door. When you get in to some of the special story missions that go in to instanced set piece areas that go entirely linear the game still feels great and captures what made the original special. Those are just too few and far between and in between you're just running back and forth across this dead, empty world.

One thing that kept happening in MEC though that really sums up my entire experience. They put in a GTA style cop system where you have to flee them before you can do anything else. Problem is when you keep getting their attention without understanding why right as you get to the mission you want to do and then have to run all over the map trying to elude them. Then you think you're finally about to and just need another few feet and womp womp you run in to one of the myriad dead ends in the middle of the map and the whole thing resets.

There's still stuff to like in there but I just have a hard time recommending it for more than $10.



Sony Rewards take ages under the best of conditions. Think last time I redeemed some it took like two weeks.

I've never had that issue and I'm literally one mission away from finishing the game. I wondered what was even the point of having the cops chase you because you lose them instantly as soon as you get to a hideout or zipline or wallrun to a far enough building. It's actually pretty hard to get police attention since you're always moving. My guess is you were standing around near a security camera. Those are quite prolific but you're outside of its sight in just seconds.

I think this is true. At GS the 2 Marvel Ultimate Alliance games sell for $20+ I believe. But doing a lazy remaster and making them available digitally should be cheaper than a semi collectible game from last gen. The current prices for the 2 single games (and WFC) are high, even for normal prices. These 3 games feel like they should have released for ~$20 each with sale prices at $10 or less (especially for the bundle). To get all three games as part of this flash sale you would have to drop $70 on them, and that feels just stupid.

I don't think you complained I think you gave an opinion on a sale like the others did

I don't consider you posting your thoughts on the games and prices any more or less valuable than anyone else that threw theirs down
and I don't think someone saying a variation of "this sale isn't for me" is complaining either

I view my post as more discussion worthy then someone simply saying "Sony sucks" "this sale is crap" or other variations of statements that really do nothing. My post was much more thought out and allowed for open discussion or statements instead of throwing a tantrum because a game I really want isn't $5. We can agree to disagree though and that's the fun thing about humans is everyone views things differently.

Flash sales don't have PS+ discounts.

Well that's disappointing that they don't do PS+ discounts anymore on flash sales. Raise the price of the membership and reduce the discounts? Who do they think they are? Micro$oft?

lol I swear every flash sale all I see is people whining and complaining. It's probably the same people each time too.

In regards to this flash sale:
Didn't even know they did a PS4 remaster of fall of cybertron. Platinumed it back on PS3 and love the game but not sure at the price they have it at. The marvel bundle pack isn't too shabby. Does it still include local co op? Other then those two there aren't really any titles I'm dying to have right now and plus I have way too many games I need to beat already.

Like I said I haven't really been paying much attention lately. Didn't realize this was a permanent change. Also have you ever heard the expression 'people shouldn't shush people because people shushing people make more noise than the people they are shushing, so people shouldn't shush people should they'? (This might just be something silly my dad said when I was a kid for all I know.) You are complaining about complainers and I'm guessing you're going to keep complaining about them long after I've made my initial observation (or as you presumed complaint) and rebuttal. I haven't posted much in a while as I've been too busy living in the real world (not trying to insult so please don't take this as such, I just mean I haven't been able to play or collect games for a while). I've been hunkered down keeping my cost of living to a minimum while I paid off all my debt so I could get a good loan for a house. I just got my keys last night incidentally.

I think this is true. At GS the 2 Marvel Ultimate Alliance games sell for $20+ I believe. But doing a lazy remaster and making them available digitally should be cheaper than a semi collectible game from last gen. The current prices for the 2 single games (and WFC) are high, even for normal prices. These 3 games feel like they should have released for ~$20 each with sale prices at $10 or less (especially for the bundle). To get all three games as part of this flash sale you would have to drop $70 on them, and that feels just stupid.

Yea it would be nice if they were cheaper but I think they provide quite a bit of content assuming they didn't remove anything from them compared to the initial release. I don't plan on buying them at this sale since I have too much to play already and I don't have a strong urge to go back to them right now.

boo nothing I don't already have in this sale.  ignoring that a number of these games are the same price or cheaper physically so even with the sale its not worth it.  The least they could do is offer an extra 20% off for ps+ users since you know people pay for the service an all.
