No. It's a completely new story. Might be some lore that I'm not aware of having not played the first game but I understand what's happening.

It's also my GoTY so far. Just amazing. Maybe even my favorite game of this generation.

It never ceases to amaze me how disorganized or poorly run PlayStation seems to be at times. This tweet is a great example. I know big companies have a hard time keeping people and departments straight, but I feel like Playstation's social team is always halfway clueless about most stuff going on and finds out about it when the rest of us do. I get the impression other departments are run similarly.

Is that the one that's online multiplayer only? If so, it's not worth it. When it comes to obscure games, I have a helluva time finding people to play online with on PS3. By obscure, I mean anything that's not Call of Duty.

This month has been ridiculous, so far 3 big time GOTY contenders in Zelda, Horizon and Neir and next week is Mass Effect which is sure to be another GOTY contender, just crazy to think they are all within 3 weeks of each other.  Also that Strafe game circa 1996 looks awesome, I wonder what the price is gonna be altho that game screams PSPlus title in the future sooooo...

Yeah but do you really want to feel like you have to then keep playing after you get it if you wanted to be done after a trophy grind? Conversely would you want to feel compelled to get a plat to see that content? A theme or avatar wouldn't be a burden on anyone to create nor on the, sane, players to get. Wishful thinking though some XB games have done that (not sure about PS).

Honestly imo, most of the 2for1 stuff you should wait until they go on sale individually. You will more than likely get the better deal that way and save more money. Unless you plan on playing them right now, I'd just hold off especially on those two.

Both great games that were in my top twenty last year but unless you're planning on playing them immediately there will be better sales.

I have Horizon and Zelda coming tomorrow so I'm hoping I can show restraint and not even open them until I finish Nier because I've heard nothing but stellar things about them.

Unfortunately don't have access to Zelda, but Nioh and Horizon are both great games. It's one of the reasons even as dual owner with X1, which I still love as well, I can easily say that Sony is killing it with exclusives this year.

And Nier may not be for everyone but I am absolutely in love with it as you can tell from my posts. But Bayonetta is also one of my favorite games of all-time so I was hyped for it. It has not let me down. Just love every aspect of it -- with the combat just taking the cake.

Everyone's got different tastes though. Nier just does it for me. No other game has clicked with me this gen as much as it has.

Zelda is one of those games where it's worth seeking out a Wii U if you're not willing to get a Switch right now. This is my favorite Zelda and one of my favorite games of all time.

I'm even considering canceling my Mass Effect and Persona preorders because I know I won't be done with Zelda.
