So I picked up USF4 and the Disney Afternoon Collection on the console store last night and they had locks on them and wouldn't let me play so I did the restore licenses deal and now they're playable but they don't say purchased on the console store and still show the prices. Meanwhile they say purchased on the store on the app on my iPhone.

I deleted the Disney game to test if I could download it again from the console maybe and sure enough I can only get it to download through the app as it doesn't recognize it as purchased on the store on the actual console. Anybody have any idea what might have happened? Not a big deal as I can still download them through the app I just was curious if anybody had anything like this happen to them.

Click on Add-ons on the game's page to see all of the DLC for it. I believe the Vita version includes all of the characters in it and unlocks the extras for the PS3 version via Cross Buy if it purchase it.

Still a pain to sort it, as 90% of the stuff are costumes.

I backed the game so I got a free digital copy, but the game is a good time with friends. it can be boring/frustrating alone. If you do get it, add me on PSN.

-Still sad about not getting a Nex Machina beta code.   Turns out the dreadnaught beta wasn't over so my code was still good, so I got to try that at least [thanks for the offer frisky, but I already had a code... I Just figured the beta was gone by then].   It's pretty cool, 4v4 MP space ship combat with different sized ships.   But not my jam like Nex machina is.

-I don't think they'll stop vita ps+ this year.   PS3, sure.   But vita still has games coming out on a regular basis, and a ridiculously devoted [if small] core fan base.   PR wise, they should keep it going, and if they did drop both ps3 and vita at the same time, I'm not sure what they could do on the ps4 side to alleviate the bad will.   4 ps4 games a month seems too many.   3 doesn't seem like a fair trade.  Not changing anything will feel like a ripoff.    Maybe 'pick 2 of 4' or something else completely odd, but I don't see that happening either.  So... my guess, ps3 gone, vita kept, for at least another year.

Once I updated the console in Safe Mode they were. For whatever reason the bad update wouldn't let me see the games or use them on my external. After the update they are all there.

EA's offering rewards for playing various games this weekend from 6/2 to 6/4 and for that, they're donating $1 million contribution to three charities to further some great causes:

We’re partnering with three outstanding charities and making a $1 million Play to Give contribution to their efforts:

• United Nations HeForShe – HeForShe is inviting people around the world to stand together to create a bold, visible force for gender equality. And it starts by taking action right now to create a gender equal world.
• PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center – an organization helping unite the world by creating safe, inclusive, and accepting communities and online environments
• Ditch the Label – an organization standing united for a world that is fair, equal and free from all types of bullying

We’re inviting players to celebrate Play and Inclusion within our game communities by completing Play to Give in-game challenges that yield special rewards. These challenges run from Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 4: Full challenge details can be found on the Play to Give website or in-game – list of participating games include:

• FIFA 17 - Win the Play to Give CUP in FUT to get a Prime Gold Players pack.
• Battlefield 1 - Log in to get a battlepack and Play to Give dog tag along with a special Play to Give mission to unlock a special weapon skin. Also, this is a 2X XP weekend.
• Mass Effect: Andromeda - Log into the MP and play to get one Bonus Reward Pack max.
• Star Wars: The Old Republic - Log in to get a special pet, play in a group to unlock a special title.
• Madden NFL 17 - Beat all five Play to Give MUT missions for a Signing Day Pack with up to 1 million coins.
• Madden NFL Mobile - Contribute to community-wide Play to Give goal and earn Elite Player Pack.
• NBA LIVE Mobile - Earn Playoffs items for completing a Play to Give challenge that's repeatable.
• NHL 17 - Complete three games of Round 4 of HUT competitive season 7 for a special Play to Give pack.
• Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 - Get elemental vanquishes this weekend to contribute to the Community Challenge to unlock up to three rewards.

Does Overwatch count as a game you can earn 3x Sony rewards on? I ask because I know the games listed in the Playstation Plus specials sale are, but Overwatch is on sale too but only if you are a playstation plus memeber but its not listed in the Ps Plus Specials sale.

Thanks. I was looking for mini display port cable and this mini fighting stick caught my eye. Surprised it was for $6 because the last fighting stick that I saw a month ago was price ridiciously high. Xbox 360/PC Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE for $90.

Well, the HRAP is worth the MSRP of the mini, so.... Though $90 is too much for it, for sure.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" album and Get the Funk Out pack. Thought they would never be available for RB4. Was especially bummed about the RHCP album. From my paid content, only missing RHCP - "Snow ((Hey Oh))". I still have (more than) a few tracks missing that were songs by the local Boston bands that Harmonix gave away for free originally (8 from Rock Band 1 Export, 9 from Rock Band Free Pack, and 3 others), but were delisted. Of those, I would be happy to just see "Brainpower" by Freezepop available. On the Harmonix Rock Band forums, they have stated the 8 + 9 were planned to be available eventually, but the posts are old.

Agreed, so glad to have BSSM back, then store tells me I don't own it, while it sits there in my RB3 library, sooooo close!

Supposedly it has something to do with the update being applied while in Rest Mode. Don't even know why I used Rest Mode. It's buggy as shit.

How well does the PS4 perform in playing games from an external drive? Is there a noticeable load time increase? I remember trying to backup/restore my PS3 system onto an external 640gb drive and it would need an entire night and then some just to go one way (and that's if it doesn't fail in the process.)

Digital Foundry tested a 4 TB external Seagate HDD and load times were faster than with the stock internal HDD:

Interesting, though it would tie up one of my USB ports, and my USB hub is a little flakey, always disconnects and reconnects when I use my headset...

My PS4 is in rest mode 24/7 except when I'm using it, I've never had any trouble at all with it.
