Can't decide if I want to just wait until tomorrow for my last $24 or what. Not really expecting anything from the sale based on this week but I should probably at least see before I buy something full price or Estival Versus. Only thing I'm really torn about this week is Corpse Party Book of Shadows and mainly because I have all the other games and those only go on sale once a year.

it's not good, it's not really bad either but it's not good. I really, really want to like it more than I do but I can't and I really, really wanted to like it when it was announced for GWG. There's some interesting ideas in the combat, some of the art is charming, it's just clear there wasn't enough budget behind it. The story is fairly eh, music's not great, animations lack a bit of polish, and there's no voice acting or even Final Fantasy style talking noise at all which I never thought would be something I would miss. Still going to slowly work through it until it's done but I would have a really hard time recommending it, even more so playing WOFF which is like a best of FF and hits all the notes nicely.

Well if you're setting out to spend $100 you wouldn't have otherwise then yes, it's a terrible deal and exactly what marketing folk want. If you're like most of us and would have spent most or all of that $100 anyway because of the sales that have happened then you get to a point where if you don't capitalize on then you're throwing money away unless you're never shopping on PSN again. If you're the type to spend $100 on PSN in a month getting the rebate back in the form of PSN is a non-issue anyway.

Yeah but considering I'm only buying games I want, and those games are around 75% off... it seems like I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck even without getting a good deal converting my $$ into PSN credit. Plus it's not like I'm locked into just Sony games... any games on PSN are good for the deal. If some exec somewhere is thinking he's pulling one over on me... hey let him have that one as I'm at least getting more of what I want even cheaper than I would have already spent.

Considering I've had Alien Isolation steelbook on my shelf since release and never played it I'm thinking I might just sell that and get the digital to clean up the shelf. Devil May Cry worth a replay in HD? I was apparently one of the few who like the original reboot.

Anyways, you can't go wrong with any game in the series. Even 2, which is considered the worst and weakest game in the series, has some fun and merit.

4 is fun, especially the remaster, but has some majorly lazy game design.

There are 8 stages, but you go through them forward, then backward for 16 chapters... only half of which you play Dante.

The Remaster allows you to play the two female leads in the place of Dante and Nero, and are quite varied with their own attacks and Combos, but are little more than a model swap.

Virgil is another model swap, but you play him the entire game.

Sadly the girls and Virgil have no cutscenes beyond the intro and ending...

I'm confused. From the description, Ronin sounds like a port of the mobile game but the game icon looks nothing like what that game is.

Not having to look through outside sources on an object I might be interested in purchasing.
