Firewatch was a day one purchase for me and I still recommend it.

A+ on script and voice acting.

A lot of folks were disappointed in the ending but it fit the narrative. It's only a 4-5 hr game though. 

Oxenfree, there isn't enough good things for me to say about this game. It's highly original and the dialog flows really well even with your dialog selection. It's also a 4-5 hr game but it's highly suggested that you continue the timeline and play it another 1 or 2 times.

Also confirmed today, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will act as both a new beginning for players fresh to the series and unfamiliar with Clementine, as well as a continuation for players who have experienced Seasons One and Two. Players new to the series will be able to start a story that is tailored to this new beginning. Players continuing onward from prior seasons will have multiple options for quickly configuring their tailored backstory, or importing past save files from various platforms. Additional information on this feature will be detailed in the coming week.

Telltale revealed that they're working on a Guardians of the Galaxy series for 2017:

I've only played a Telltale game for a few minutes (Wolf in the Fold, I guess).

But I never knew I could want a game this much.

Firewatch was a day one purchase for me and I still recommend it.
A+ on script and voice acting.

A lot of folks were disappointed in the ending but it fit the narrative. It's only a 4-5 hr game though.

Oxenfree, there isn't enough good things for me to say about this game. It's highly original and the dialog flows really well even with your dialog selection. It's also a 4-5 hr game but it's highly suggested that you continue the timeline and play it another 1 or 2 times.

Can you explain a bit about oxenfree? What type of game is it?

It's a supernatural thriller with A LOT of dialog. It's really hard to say without potentially spoiling things but if you watch the preview video and have an inkling of interest for it then I definitely say go for it. It's spooky but not shit in your pants spooky.
