Looks like the digital deluxe edition is the only reasonable game bundle then. May just pass unless there is a sale. Or b2g1free if i can find a 3rd game i want but then i would have to buy the explorer pack separately

Yeah, but Bethesda pulled this crap when they were about to raise the price of the Fallout 4 season pass from $30 to $50 and that extra content did NOT end up being worth that much. I'm worried this will be a similar situation.

To each their own. I actually lost interest in Witcher after 10 hours or so, whereas I still play Fallout 4. I might just have to give it a second chance. I surprisingly didn't like Skyrim much when it first came out either but I recently put like 60 hours into the rerelease.

Probably, look at TLoU. They did a stand alone version and a DLC version. Think the standalone was more expensive initially too if I'm remembering correctly.

Maybe from back when they had the built in "library of games"? I know now you certainly don't get stuff you missed while you were away.

This is just a guess, but the original PS3/Vita release was published by Renegade Kid, who also developed the game. They split up a few months ago into Atooi for the 2D IPs, and Infinitizmo for the 3D IPs. Nighthawk published the sequel, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, and probably picked up the publishing for the original game as well. No clue why they wouldn't have republished the PS3 version too.

And apparently the special event referenced in the tweet above that Frisky posted is a double pack of MM Deluxe and Super Challenge for PS4/Vita. Their video says two games for the price of one, so not sure how it will work for people that already own one or the other versions of MMD
