Glad I didn't get Need for Speed the last time it was on sale for $12.xx because I surely wouldn't have played it by now. Only thing that I really have my eye on at the moment.

The version that was on sale for $12.xx was the deluxe edition where this is just the vanilla game.. I ended up passing on the last sale also and will likely pass this time as well.

Yes, Shattered Dimension was quite fun. 4 different Spidey playstyles keeps it from getting stale partway through.

Pretty much the only issue I had with it is I often had difficulty aiming the web targeting during combat. For instance, late in the game there are enemy types where you first have to use web targeting to grab their shield and yank it away, but in large group of enemies it is difficult to pinpoint a particular enemy with it.

Anyone playing the new Bethesda DLC for Zen Pinball 2? This is one of the most interesting/innovative takes I've seen in a pinball game. Character creation systems, inventory menus, etc. They did a really nice job capturing the feel of an RPG within a pinball table.

I'm a certified VR fanboy but was kinda disappointed with the X-wing mission. it felt like a theme park ride set up for VR tourists. It continues to prove out PSVR as solid tech though.

Is Sports Bar VR worth the 10 bucks? I felt like SuperHyperCube was too much at 30 and I now can't think of a simple puzzle game I've played so much since Tetris. Any games in Sports Bar that might have that longevity?

I thought the Battlefront mission was much better than the Call of Duty mission since there's story and some better combat design. Plus, you can manipulate the X-Wing with the internal buttons to open up the wings or bring up the missile guide, which doesn't actually function. It has a better future for a full expansion into its own game should Criterion/Dice/EA want to do that.

I only played Sports Bar VR for about 30 minutes, so I can't speak on longevity of any of the games. Darts might be the one that lasts, but the chess and checkers games could also be cool. It seems like more of a social sandbox game than one that's just about the specific games in it. I haven't tried it out with the new update that adds PS4 Pro support and holiday decorations along with some tweaks to darts and some other things.

Oddly enough, I'm not signed up for the newsletter. Just went to the website to sign up (http://us.playstation.com/email-signup/) and I just get the little spinning thing. It never seems to accept it.

I didn't get my 20% code the first time but they did a second wave and I received it. Think I'm going to use it this week. I don't want to risk it and week 2 end up being buttcheeks, although this week isn't all that great, the extra 20% on top of the ps+ discount price makes stuff much better.

I never signed up for that ever but I do have the first box checked under account settings then --> Notification preferences on the playstation store website.

If you do already have that checked but don't get emails from above, try adding them to your contacts and safe senders list to help get them

Thanks for the heads up on the 20% off code. I'm going to get some more Persona 4: Dancing All Night dlc. I can't think of any other regular priced content. I'll wait for next week's sale, and see if the flash sale happens next week. Though I'm guessing the flash sale will be Christmas weekend.

At first I thought it's a shame R. Mika's new costume comes out the day after the code expires, but Street Fighter V costumes can't be bought from the PSN webstore anyway. You have to go through the game on the console to make the purchase, and they can't be put in your cart.
