BUT! There is another benefit with X1 games: Whenever there are sales, the X1 versions of the game are always in stock while PS4 are usually sold out.

As for Scorpio, it's just the PS4 pro version for the X1 line of systems. There are no Scorpio specific games. Given MS's track record with hardware though, I think you'd be a pretty big moron to put all your gaming eggs in that one basket. RROD should have taught all gamers a lesson about launch hardware.

For me, even if I wanted an X1 system... let alone had the time for it (base/S/Scorpio), how could I abandon Sony when Yakuza 0 is so close, other games in that series are coming, Gravity Rush 2 is here soon and Shenmue 3 next Christmas (or there about)? I couldn't. But I go where the games I want to play are, not where the best deals are. If there are great deals, great. IF the deals are better but not on games I actually want to play, it doesn't matter. I got go with the games over deals.

If you legit just want best deals on games... build a pc. Then you'll just have to focus on steam deals and sites like humblebundle, indiegala & gog. But whatever you go to... make games the priority and what you are legit interested in playing or the entire experience will be super hollow.

I don't think they're going bankrupt, so the games should stay for a while until they decide whether to renew their licenses or not whenever they come up. If you want to guarantee access to them for the foreseeable future, then get them ASAP.

I have a new, unopened ps3 super slim with 10 GB onboard ssd that has sat in my closet for years. I also have a 500 GB internal hard drive that i can install. How does data management work on this machine? Do i have the option to run the os and firmware on the 10 GB ssd space and manually install downloads and disc games to the regular 500 GB drive that i am installing?

I have never had a ps3 like this so i am wondering how to run it for the 1st time the way i want it to and not have it do anything automatically to screw up the scenario that i want.

Any suggestions?

Flash sale would be very unlikely. The last two years it's been on the 24th. So you can wait till friday but it would be a huge change for them to have the flash sale early.

The main thing I want currently on sale is Axiom Verge, which nicely is not part of the weekly sale but an extended sale until 1/4/17... but no doubt with tuesday's sale items I'm going to have to make some decisions on that 20% code from my email. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is having a Free Weekend from 12/15 @ 1 PM ET to 12/20 @ 1 PM ET that lets you play some of all three modes. The campaign lets you play the first two levels. The multiplayer is capped at level 15 and Zombies is also capped at level 3, though you can play as much as you want beyond that. Progress will transfer over to the full game if you get it, so I'd guess the various forms of the game will be on sale during this window.

Really torn over whether I should use the coupon this week or not. Have about $25 worth of stuff currently with Necrodancer, Oceanhorn, Alone with You, Civ Rev 2, and Twisted Metal Black but can't decide if that's good enough or if I should hope I can do better tomorrow.

I said I was going to save mine but the discount with what I was getting wasn't all great so I decided to hold off. Even if they sales aren't all that great tomorrow, I know I'll at least save as much as I was going to using it on this sale.

I used mine today on the $25 Uncharted 4 Explorers pack, and $9 worth of Persona 4: Dancing All Night dlc. What helped me pull the trigger is I can't think of much that I even want to go on sale, so I doubt I'm going to be spending more than $25 in next week's sale. Everything I wanted went on sale last month. Getting Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for $20 seemed like the best use I had for the code.

The Explorers pack is being pulled tomorrow, so it was something that had to be decided on today.

I was considering Final Fantasy XV, but I'm already switching between five games , and Resident Evil VII is six weeks away. I can get around to XV sometime after I finish Persona 5. Maybe it will be in the E3 sale.
