I always buy it on Zen Pinball for the PS3.  It always ports to the Vita and PS4.  Buying it on the PS4 didn't used to convert back.  Maybe it does now, but I'm 100% sure that the safest way is to buy it on the PS3 and it ports over -- and I own every table Zen has ever put out on consoles.

That was the last SW table I needed too. I bought the Star Wars version of the table on the PS3. I got the SW version on both the PS3 and Vita, and also got the ZP2 versions for PS3, Vita, and PS4. I don't believe buying the PS4 ZP2 tables gets you the PS3 and Vita versions. And I'm not sure buying the ZP2 SW tables on PS3 (or Vita) get you the SW versions of the tables, but that is most likely true.

I'm planning to buy this soon from Heavy Arm, as I can't imagine it will stay in production forever. I have zero hopes of it ever getting a physical release here, so anyone who want's it physical, I recommend you import while you can.

No matter if you buy the Star Wars pinball or zp2 version you get both as long as you purchase the version marked PS3 or vita.

PS4 gets you all three versions as of sometime a year or so ago.

 
Regardless I'll be picking it up, but does Dark Forces work for the Vita? It's not explicitly listed on the store as a Vita title, but I thought that all PS1 classics worked for the Vita. Is that not correct? Is it just not listed because Dark Forces has been on the Playstation Store since before the Vita was even a thing?

I believe the catalogs just allow you to see the costume if you are playing with someone else online who has purchased them, as well as in your own interface for purchasing. They don't give you free content.

Unless it has changed since I bought it a while ago, Dark Forces can't be installed on the Vita.

 
Gladiator begins is the best $2.xx I have spent. I am a huge fan of the show Spartacus. I watch the entire series every month. This game is as close to it as you can get with the combat system and atmosphere. I would love to have a modern version of Spartacus with this games mechanics

Survival game The Long Dark will be out for PS4 on 8/1 with the first two episodes for its story mode out at launch and the other three episodes coming later in 2017 and early 2018. The survival mode is the main mode for playing the game despite the story mode.

Any1 else having weird psn issues on ps3? When I dl steins gate from my phone the process doesn't start when I restart my ps3. Clicking account info on my ps3 errors out with it saying undergoing maintenance. However, psn seems fine. Can account info undergo maintenance on its own? Seems weird.
 
Whats the difference between the Zen Star Wars tables and the non Zen Star Wars tables? I understand the actual content is the same, but what is the advantage of them having it released twice?

 
Enjoying MLB 17 a ton on my new PS4, one issue controller wise though: who the hell thought the dinky little 'options' button was a good idea? I almost never hit it first instead hitting the touch pad. Awful.

There are two versions of Zen Pinball 2 on PS3 and Vita. One is called Zen Pinball 2 and has access to all tables and the other is called Star Wars Pinball with access to all Star Wars tables. They have separate trophy lists and essentially gives you five trophy lists to earn for one table pack purchase since it's all Cross Buy.

 
Hey, sorry for the semi off topic question, but I thought Dead Or Alive Final Round was free. I couldn't figure out what you get with the self titled game that's currently on sale. The description is very poor. If I had to guess it sounds like just the core fighters, but for that price maybe story mode too?

Last Round is the original remastered game for PS4. Core Fighters was their attempt to turn it into a free to play game with several $90 season passes.

 
Ok, I have read all the posts on zen pinball, and understand I can just buy the vita version and I unlock eveything, and can play it 'two ways' on my vita for double trophies.

But I'm still a little confused.

On my vita, i already have the following tables -- ROTJ, Starfighter Assault, darth Vader, ep. 5, clone wars, and boba fett.

I see if i buy the 'Season 1 bundle' I get all those and more. is that my best bet, or do i just need one of the smaller 'packs'?

And what games are missing from the season bundle? Looks like just Rogue One?

Gladiator Begins is awesome. I think I even hyped it the second I saw it was sale. Definitely one of my favorite gladiator games [gladius, shadow of rome, etc].

If memory serves, the GB devs also made a PS3 game but I can't remember its name. I never got around to buying it, though if it went on sale i would.

You could look at which of the packs you don't own and compare that total to what the bundle costs to see what the best route is

for example, the 'Balance of the Force' [which doesn't even have pack in the table, though it contains 3 table] has this description:

Experience the power of the Dark Side with a special Darth Vader tribute table. Join Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Princess Leia in the fight against the Sith as you play through the most memorable moments of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Finally, choose to support the Rebel Alliance Fleet or the Galactic Empire’s Armada as you take your place in the space battle and complete missions to establish your position as an elite force in the Starfighter fleet.

So... reading through all that, it has the Darth Vader table.... the ROTJ table.... and.... I have no idea what the 3rd table is.

Other pack descriptions can be just as vague.

The season bundle just lists them, thankfully.

EDIT -- just realized the season bundle is even nice enough to divide them by pack names, didn't notice that at first. now i should be able to price easier.

Look at the trophy list. I believe the packs are grouped together and the trophy descriptions will list the table they come from. Not the best solution but you should be able to piece it together that way. I think I had the same issue with a couple of Marvel tables.

Edit: Or do the DLC trophies not show on the Vita until you install them? That won't help if that's the case.

So... reading through all that, it has the Darth Vader table.... the ROTJ table.... and.... I have no idea what the 3rd table is.

No, I'm saying to look at the list to see which packs show up as you not owning them and compare that price to the price of the bundle. There's no need to even look at what specific tables are included. The bundle even tells you which specific packs are included.

Yeah, I noticed [and mentioned in an edit] the bundle separates by pack.... originally i thought the pack names were just more tables, not organizers. Since I own 2 packs, it's definitely cheaper for me to buy it piece meal.

What order should I play them in so I don't spoil anything?

Might I suggest you look at Portal Knights? Comes out towards the end of the month and seems like a generic DQ Builders but with couch and online co-op. It's been on early access on Steam and gotten good reviews and there's a demo on the consoles which looked great and I thought was fun enough to push me in to a purchase even just as the tutorial world. It's going to be $20 on PSN but there's also a $30 disc option which comes with a $10 GC at BBY. I went with the latter since GCU made it $24 and it's not like I won't be spending $10 at BBY in the near future, so at $14 net cost I'm sure even if I regret the purchase for some reason I can probably get my money back selling the disc.

But no, flash sales typically occur during the 3rd or 4th weekend of a month.

Played the demo for Prey with no preconceptions whatsoever although the Bethesda led me to believe what it might be. When I picked up a weapon, I said oh okay it's a shooter. When I picked up an enhancement, I said oh okay it's Bioshock. Kind of neat, might be fun but definitely a cheap later buy for me.
