The Playstation App I have has the profile icon on the top right like yours. The store icon brings up the store in-app, and on this screen there is the 3-dots Menu icon (second from right) which has menu items for "Open in Browser" and "Copy Link".

I am using Android version 6.0.1 and PS App version 4.20.5, maybe you are on a different version of Android and/or PS App.

Because it's not the game that they originally advertised, and it's arguably repetitive, and wasn't worth the original $60 launch price. It's probably a great game at $4 for people who enjoy this type of game, but it's not a universally acclaimed game.

Perhaps that could be a factor. I'm on Android 4.3 and the app is version 4.20.5. According to the Play Store, it is the latest version of the app.

I don't even remember what kind of game it is. FPS with vampires? I just remember it was a big flop. I'm in for 4 bucks though.

 
I have never been able to use a regular high end browser like firefox on android or web browser on ps4 to log into the store. It errors and logs me out after inputting account info.

It's a 3rd person shooter, or at least that what I thought it would have been. I think it's more quick time events, than actual gameplay, but I'm a long term Dragon's Lair fan, so that never bothered me. I'll for sure give it a go once I get my PS4, but it looked decent enough, but yeah, maybe not worth $60. But I feel that way about most games, that why I'm on CAG. LOL

My guess was something like this was going on, but I'm not hip to Android (or iPhone) development (I'm probably so screwed if I lose my current job).

What? No. It's a third person shooter with some great weapons and it's beautiful. There are a few fights against non-human enemies that are QTE battles, but iirc it's only 2 fights like that. The vast majority of the game is standard third person shooter.

I honestly have no idea why it's so universally panned... I had a great time with it. Despite it's extremely high level of polish [I am not overstating this, it's -polished-] for some reason it got worse reviews than straight up broken/janky near unplayable messes like Legendary. It's the game people love to hate, basically.

It's not perfect, sure, but it's far better than some would have you believe. There's nothing broken about it, cool weapons.... it's short, but still has some meat [think, maybe, the first Homefront in length, except better].

It's not a game I'd normally defend, because I didn't absolutely love it or anything... but when people act like a competent game that is an absolute sight to behold is somehow trash tier something needs to be said.

I paid 20 for it and loved it... it's easily worth 4.

Tales of Berseria is excellent. Much better than Zesteria so far and possibly better than Vesperia, although I'm not far enough to make that judgement yet.

Still on sale for $24 after GCU too.
 
Not sure why anyone would be hesitating to get The Order for 4 bucks if they have any interest at all. It looks great, is a competent third person shooter, has a relatively interesting story and a short, easy Platinum. I paid $16 a couple years ago at Best Buy and did not regret the purchase.

I charged and turned on my rarely-used Fire Tablet when I got home last night, ran the Playstation app, and tried the store. I got the intergrated store this way as everyone has been describing it. It definitely looks like it's related to the OS version and WebView. It's too bad it doesn't work this way on all phones, I don't bring my tablet out since I need the WiFi to use it, and if I'm home, I may as well use the desktop. Ah well.

And, for the record, I found Alien Isolation to be excellent. Admittedly, I haven't yet finished it but as an Alien fan, it nails the atmosphere better than any game or movie based game that I can think of.

It's not for everyone, thought, with vast stretches where there isn't much action. To me, that makes it more nerve wracking and (Alien) life like.

Yeah, that goes back to the long stretches where you are mostly hiding and exploring. That's why it's not for everyone. It's gives it more atmosphere and realism, which is probably what the devs were going for.

Maybe if they do a follow up, there could be a "realism" mode and an "action" mode that gives you the choice based on how you want to play.

I would assume the same way most people sell most things?

they probably either have access to a discount for a chunk of cards from one source or another or they take a hit to try to draw people in to their business

sometimes they have a few a month and sometimes nothing for a few months so it's not like they are selling millions of them

 
Really considering the digital copies of the darksiders games, I really prefer physical but $10 each isnt bad at all.  I have them on xbone but they both run like shit on xbox.
