I don't know that that is true, as our resident developer Josh1billion has posted here when he's put his game on sale that made it seem like he's in control of that, though he would probably be the best one to speak further on that if he's around.

So the other day I got voucher codes for Transistor and Bastion from the Days of Play quests. I already have these games through PS+, so I get the error that I already own the product when I go to redeem the codes. I'd like to have these games available for whenever I let my subscription lapse, so is there any way to actually redeem these codes?

Let your PS+ run out for a day, redeem, and then sign back up? Unless they expire at some point and you've already redeemed a few years of PS+ or something. Otherwise you'd have to contact Sony about addressing it.

I've got PS+ for another year, dunno if the codes expire. Seems like a lame workaround, but I might make a dummy account and redeem them on that. Not a big fan of that idea, though. Feels... icky. Having all my stuff on a single account is obviously ideal.

If the codes don't have an expiration date then what chriscolbert suggested sounds good. If they do have an expiration date I would probably make a second PSN account, and redeem the codes with it. Set your PS4 as your second PSN account's main console, and you'll be able to play the games with any account on that PS4.

You can try calling customer support and asking them to remove those two games from your account.

Are you sure you didn't purchase Bastion previously? I don't remember it ever coming to PS+.

For someone who has not played Nioh or Horizon, is it worth it to pick them up digitally (I'm assuming they are large files), or is it better to go with the GCU 31.99 hard copy from best buy?

I gameshare with my son but he's only 10 so I don't know that either of these would interest him much.   ...maybe horizon.

 
Am I losing my mind or were the best of E3 sales supposed to end today at 8AM PST (15 minutes from now) not 6/20? Did they update the same sales, introduce a "week 2" with different games or what?

EDIT: NVM It was the days if play sale $40 games same as in store that ended two days early digitally for no good reason

Anywho, can someone tell me if theres a good way to buy PSN credit at a discount, like a $100 GC for $85 via ebay you usually see? That and the $15 back promotion combined could convince me to buy some stuff here instead of on disc. Especially cause Im due for renewal.

Do you have a car? If so, buy two $50 BB gift cards st Rite Aid, get $20 in Plenti points, use the points for gas at Exxon or Mobil, buy $100 PSN gift card at BB using the BB gc, basically costs $80 net. They also have XBL and GS cards on sale this week.

I was under the impression that last weekend was the "flash" sale. They may not have actually called it a flash sale, but that's just what they usually call an unannounced weekend sale, which is what the last sale was.

 
eh if there isn't a flash sale I'm not gonna go for the 15 credit

probably would be better  off waiting for better prices and now that psn credit at a discount is harder to comeby I'm not stocked up anyway

 
The 15 credit doesn't end until 6/20 at 11:59 pm pacific time.so you could still wait for the weekly sale on Tuesday to see if something else pops up if no flash sale today.

Seems like the normal way people go about it is to have people like your post, put those names in a random name generator on a website made for that and let it choose for you, then you pm the winner the code. That's how I would probably go about it anyway.

Pro tip for those who missed the theme: Manually change your phone or computer's system date to Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and visit the website after changing it to each day. This will make the website think you did the tasks. Really dumb how they programmed this website, but at least we can all get the theme ¯\ (ツ)/¯

Confirm this work on both Donuts - Dynamic Theme and Symbols in the Sky - Dynamic Theme. You can acquire them as long as you have NA account, no matter where you live.

For Donuts theme change your system time to 6/13 12pm PST, 6/14 12pm PST and 6/15 12pm PST accordingly. Make sure to refresh the website and confirms it registered.

For Symbols in the Sky. Change your time to 6/13 12pm PST, refresh the webpage and wait for 10 minutes. Although the live play appear to be offline, it still count somehow. Then you'll notice the counter in the quest increase every minutes. (EDIT. About an hour after I post this, Sony updates the video from live play linked from twitch to youtube videos. So, the symbols in the sky seems unable to be acquired at this moment, you can still get the donuts one though.)

What you need to do: Open the Developer console of the browser you are using. Inspect the "PlayStation Live from E3 2017" quest. In Opera there is a cursor icon on the top-left corner of the developer console window, which you can use to select objects on the page. You should see something like: "<div class="quest-wrapper compact active [...]" on the Elements tab. Your main focus should be on the word 'active'. The quests that you completed are in 'completed' state, if you claimed your prize for the quest it'll be in 'claimed' state. All you have to do is to edit that 'active' flag and write 'completed' there. Press enter and the 'Claim Prize' button should appear.


So I can confirm it works. Here's the step with pictures tutorial(In chrome)

  1. First go to Playstation Live From E3 and make sure you login.
  2. Open the developer tools(pressing F12 or Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows, on OS X I believe it's Command + Shift + J I cannot remeber) http://i.imgur.com/VqZn6lj.png
  3. (1) Choose the selector tool (2) Hover your mouse to the quest block(MLB The Show 17 Quest in this example) until the popup says "div.quest-wrapper.active" or something like that (3) It should highlight one block for you "<div class = ...></div>" http://i.imgur.com/Mhk98wl.png
  4. Double clicked the part highlighted in the picture and change "active" to "completed". So it looks like

    <div class="quest-wrapper completed" .....
    And hit enter http://i.imgur.com/IuzCfWC.png
  5. Now there would be "CLAIM YOUR PRIZE" button on the original website, hit the button and claim your reward.
  6. NOTE: It can be done easily with JavaScript code so if any one can do that for me I will update the post. I think it applies to all the quest except with "All voucher codes have been claimed" But maybe it works.

I seen a lot of posts about Friday the 13th the last two pages but in my opinion, the game is amazing. I love it, it's hands down the best MP game I've played this gen so obviously my favorite. That whole it's only fun if you're Jason is not true, being a counselor is fun. I actually prefer being a counselor than Jason.

I've met so many amazing people on the game, I wouldn't trade this shit for nothing. I got mine on XBL but it's all the same. XBL would probably get the advantage in this one because of the LFG feature which makes getting into games easy. You can always find a game. Other than that they're probably same so whatever you prefer. 

One of those games where you can't rely on reviews imo, because it's mostly based on the problems that plagued it launch. Had it been almost bug free, it would be much much higher. Really doesn't matter to me, I got it on launch and was in love from the very first game. Also probably helps that I love Friday the 13th movies, my favorite movie franchise.

My stats as of right now, yes I think I put quite a bit of time into a game that's only 21 days old

Hah can't believe the site uses your device's date/time settings. Guess I got the Donut theme, after all. Good stuff, thanks.

EDIT: Also, now that I see it, I actually like this theme a lot. I like the color cycling, and whereas icons tend to blend into the colors of a lot of themes, they stay pretty distinct in this one, which I like. Pretty happy with this and Symbols in the Sky.

I got two years of ps plus at 49.99 per year. I had to pay tax so it was like 54 or so per year. Does tax count towards the 100 or am I two cents short for the 15 dollars back?
