Was hoping for a better deal on Soma....hmm....have to think about it.

And the sale pretty much kills some that were predicting that Dark Souls II would be a January PS+ title.

Hope they announce them soon.

Anyone have an honest opinion on RE:R2? I only played the first episode and it was pretty cool.

Does it go downhill or does it get even better?

I've been looking at that one, too. But, being an indie game I wonder if it will be PS+ free some day. Ugh, my backlog is getting too big.

Side note: my best friend from the Netherlands told me that "toren" is Dutch for "tower."

Thinking of picking up Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. can anyone tell me how long this game is aprox? Spent the last month getting platinum trophy in Fallout 4 and bought like 10 games over the holiday. My backlog is hit...not sure if i should add it to the pile .

 
Damn, when did Suikoden's msrp go down to $5? I picked it up when it was on sale last time. Easy to recommend it at $2.50.

Tempted for Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters. Was kinda interested at $20 physical. $10 is a easier to bite on. But there may be that enhanced edition if we get it.

 
you can platinum it in about 7hours, maybe less if you rack your brain getting all but radios/phones on your 2nd walk around

LOVE IT

It's another of those games I've played multiple times over the last year.

It's a mix of modern and traditional survival horror, and while some of the item management is annoying.. it's quite fun and each episode tries something slightly different.

The ONLY minor gripe I had is a decision you don't realize is a decision in CH. 4 dictates the length and ending of the game in CH. 5

(MINOR SPOILERS)
In Ch. 4 your gun gets knocked out of your hand.. WHO you pick it back up with decides the length and ending of the game....

I completed Never Alone on the :xb1: It is an easy completion, it's a different platformer with an Inuit story behind it. Towards the later levels I found the controls a bit frustrating though.

I wouldn't get any PS2 games on the PS3, unless you plan to play them immediately,as they will likely come to the PS4 with trophy support and better resolution.

Since I own Mega Man Legends on disc, I'll probably just wait for a better deal. It came out on PSN late September of this year. I believe it is one of the few games I completed on the PS1. I wouldn't mind playing it again. As for Tron Bonne, I never played it, so getting it cheap made it an easy buy.

Suikoden 3 is a good game but probably the largest entry in the series and can come off as boring.

I'll admit, I got burned out on the game fast when I played it.

See, ever chapter has 3 different scenarios/sides to view it from and well.. I think by the 3rd chapter of doing all the scenarios each time.. I was burned out.

I think "Enjoys" Would have been a better wording.

He's the type of rage quitter who if he gets too frustrated, annoyed, or bored with a game.. he'll chuck the controller (sometimes violently), eject the game from the system, and return/trade it in immediately... NEVER playing it again.

Even going as far as to be rather insulting/degrading if he sees someone else he knows playing the game after he rage quit it.

I've seen it happen quite a few times in the time I've lived with him (3yrs now)....

He's also the type that will take youtube opinions on games and movies without watching or experiencing them himself.

Honestly, I'm going to be flamed for saying this but... Hardline is a guilty pleasure of mine!

I love the single player, and how it plays out like a TV Cop and Heist Drama, complete with all the cliches and plot twists you've come to expect.

Add to that, some very fun gun play, along with strong stealth and non lethal options and you got a pretty good game.

I love the "Super Arresting Power" you have, no matter what side of the law you're on.

Multiplayer is the same affair as any Battlefield game, but the heists are fun.

I mainly picked it up because I like the developer's previous work and was not disappointed.
