I hit up a few of these games for the Essentials sale. Suikoden for sub-$2.00 was just too good to pass up. I also went ahead and threw Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on the pile. Choice PS1 classics are always an easy sell for me, especially since they run on so many of my PlayStation devices.

 
Woot, picked up Tomba, Jumping Flash, Parasite Eve, Xenogears, and Mega Man 10 unlock. Was tempted to get DA: Inquisition, but feel it's going to be a PS+ 'free' game relatively soon.

 
Is Amazing Spider-man 2 [PS4] really that bad?  I feel like I know better than to pick it up but a next gen Spider-man game seems right up my alley. 

 
Finally beat RE4 professional. The game is a lot harder then I remembered. Moving onto a playthrough of Blood Dragon and will get 100% on it.

Toki Tori 2+ is coming to PS4 on 2/23 both digitally and a limited retail release. The one notable difference is the inclusion of a more forward story with telepathic frogs.

If anyone is on the fence for Infamous Second Son, just started it and I really like the characters, graphics and gameplay as well as the story. I loved all the other Infamous, platinumed a few so that is a caveat.

Oh and no Zeke, so far.

Dark Cloud 2 will be on PS4 next week, finally.

Also some other PS2 games were rated for PS4 by the ESRB, like Primal, Ape Escape 3, Wild Arms 3, and Okage: Shadow King.

I'm still amazed they would even consider okage considering its pretty niche within a niche. Loved the game even if it was rough around the edges and could of used some voice work. ari's dialog options were reminiscent of atlus titles.

Another PS2 game I own, but never got around to play.

Bought it for like $5 from Kmart in the town I grew up.... god I miss that K-mart.

I just realized, I really stopped playing my PS2 after I got the Model 3 and upgraded to a 52in tv.

More of the model 3, I really dislike the ultra slim size and tiny ass buttons.

Will dark cloud 2 have a ps+ discount like arc the lad? Not sure if they have all had intro discounts or just that one. Debating getting dark cloud 1 and rogue galaxy but I'll wait until Tuesday just in case there is a level 5 sale or something
 
Grabbed Katamari Damacy been wanting to replay that one for ages but had a bit of hard time finding locally. So for $3 is a no brainer.

 
For anyone who prefers to play on PC, Danganronpa is coming to Steam. Wish I had found out before I purchased it a couple days ago.

Seeing as this is a PSN thread, I'll point out that I'm really hoping they release a PS4 version. Red Dead Redemption is on a very short list of games that I could easily tolerate a remaster cash grab - especially if they actually do work to it like they did with GTA V. Of course, i'd rather just get a new Red Dead, I suppose.

The first Dark Cloud didn't have a discount, but not of the games in the first batch did. I believe all of the single PS2 releases each week(except for the first week after New Years had no new releases) since then have had launch discounts.

Yeah, they're pulling out some really strange (and great) choices for these PS2 games. Hail Stan.

Also, for anyone hoping for SMT: Nocturne, whenever I tried to emulate it I would get some graphical glitches (shadows showing through solid objects, specifically) so since they're likely just using some variant of PCSX2 as well, albeit with customized settings for each game, that might take a while for them to work the kinks out.

 
Garden Warfare 1 was so much better than it had any right to be

New one seems overwhelming with all the new characters but I'm definitely considering it whence it goes on sale. Still feels like it shouldn't be a 59.99 retail releqse
 
Don't forget to make sure that PS+ doesn't set to automatic renewal when you redeem your 1 day code.  

Mine tried to.  Stupid PS+ trying to take my money.

... I commonly cite Okage as the worst game I've ever played.

It was going all right, battles were a little flawed, especially with that STUPID rock, paper, scissors style setup (which caused you to not need to worry about upgrading... someone in your party would always trump one in the enemy party).

Then I got to Chapter 5 after about 10 hours. I figured there were only two more chapters, I would wrap it up pretty quick. And Chapter 5 took about 30 hours (I think) on its own. Thirty hours of boring combat that just kept going on and on and on. When I finally beat the game, after investing 50 some hours in it, I didn't even bother watching the final cinematic. I immediately turned off the PS2, ejected the game and vowed to never play it again!

gotten tekken tag tourney 2 and legit online ranked im only facing people who are using beginner characters but have over 500 wins on their stats, thought more noobs like me would get it from the sale.
