^This is a great post, irrespective of whether or not I like what Sony offers for PS+ freebies - I'm one of those people who doesnt complain much so my opinion may not matter a whole lot :)

Usually no later than 5pm, however deals often tend to show up around 1 or 2pm.

....

Frisky, thanks for the P4:D feedback. I wasn't sure that game was even remotely going to be my kind of game but having enough story elements thrown in definitely put it on my radar. Thanks.

Pushing me over the top is that the Gamestop listing specificly says "P4D is PSTV compatible". :D/
I've only played it on PSTV, though the one caveat is that it's a tougher game on a TV due to it being designed for the Vita's screen, so the notes fly to the edges of the screen and can be harder to track and/or follow them as a result.

The main issue I had with it is that the game is bad at letting you know when you mess up, so the combo counter would reset more often than I'd expect from how I thought I was doing.

Visual Novel + Rhythm game = 7th Circle of Hell.

But I'm glad those who dig stuff like this will get it. Now just give me a proper Vita SMT game without social links.
A proper Vita SMT game would be amazing. That being said I'm still going to pick up P4:DAN because I have an addiction to all things SMT.

PS+ isn't a good value for me. I mean, you can KEEP the games if you pay just a little more for them, and they're often very cheap during flash sales. Plus you don't have to worry about Sony pulling funds out of your wallet unexpectedly.

So we got a Batman and Assassins Creed sales. I think I can pass on all of it.

Sony has never pulled funds from my wallet unless I purchased something. Whatchutalkinboutwillis?

Anyway it's more than paid for itself year to year for me... and I'm not even playing PS4 online (though my kids do, so a bonus for them).

Assassian's Creed and Batman deals this week. Considering picking up Revelations for $5 as I stopped playing after Brotherhood but that series kinda ran it's course with me.

To each their own but I've saved way more than $50 a year just in the steeper discounts you get on games from sales. As for Sony randomly taking money out of your wallet, it's not random ever and you can turn off the auto-pay feature from the Settings menu.

Sure came as a surprise to me! (Is this one of those deals where you have to tell Sony not to auto-charge every time you buy a subscription? Because that bugged the piss outta me with Microsoft.)

I've had videos in the FAQ in the OP for a few years now about how to turn off the auto-renew.

It's been auto renew for a while.
Pretty sure you can turn that off, or never have it on by un checking the box when you sign up.

PS+ has always been a great deal for me. Live on Xbox.... Meh. It used to be the best, then Sony joined the fight, game over.

In for AC: Liberation on Vita for $6.75.
That's a nice value if you have the right expectations. Personally, I got hooked on the awesome multi-player and have now put in over 1,000 hours.

One of the above sentences is true and one of them is very, very false.

Afro Samurai 2 came out today, holy shit forgot. PS+ gets 30% off might have to get it. Hope it isn't long until volume 2 and 3 releases though.

edit- the blog says 30% so hope they fix it

The list of sales above seems to be pretty much done, so let me know if I missed anything. There are three pieces of DLC for ACIV that are listed with the rest that don't have prices, so I don't know what's up with those three items.

The Batman Arkham Origins "Deluxe Edition" of Blackgate for the PS3 just doesn't want to drop in price lately. I think it's the only Batman game left out of this sale.

Hopefully with October coming up they'll be some decent horror-themed games on sale next month. In for Darkstalkers Resurrection if it's under $10.

Hmm.. Good price on Q.U.B.E. considering it hasn't been out long. Love those kind of games. Think I will have to pick it up.
Did anyone else see last of us say free on ps3 but then click on it and it changes to $20?
Happens. Store is in the process of updating.

This may sound like an odd question, but how does AC Liberation for Vita compare to AC Bloodlines for PSP?

Once I got used to the awful draw distances and odd controls, I actually beat and enjoyed Bloodlines.

For those looking for The Last of Us, it doesn't start until tomorrow:

"The Outbreak Day sale will run from September 23rd until October 7th in various regions. You’ll be saving 40-50% on select content for The Last of Us and The Last of Us Remastered, including a price reduction on the game itself. PS Plus members will be able to save even more in some instances."

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/09/22/save-on-the-last-of-us-with-outbreak-day-2015/

GAH! If they put the last of us stuff on sale I'll probably end up buying some random weapon dlc only to jump back into the multiplayer with my revolver only class.

Or this.

Bummer because I enjoyed the first one quite a bit.

Would anyone recommend Driveclub's season pass?  I just got a thrustmaster wheel recently for the :ps4: so I am wondering whether it is worth it or not.

Easily one of the best Season Passes out there. If you like the base game, this is a no brainer. The amount of value/content is fantastic.

Re: PS+ auto-renewal.

Maybe I'm just unlucky, but...

I had it turned off like 2 years ago. When it expired, it used my wallet funds to renew. I bitched about it here, followed guides on how to turn off auto-renewal, triple checked everything. Everything said disabled.

Fast forward eleven months, to around June. I let it expire, since it was like a day after PS+ games were put up. It again tried to auto-renew. Failed, cause I didn't have enough wallet funds this time.

So Sony does something that automatically turns it back on. I don't know if it's during the new TOS crap, or adding devices, but they've done it twice to me now.

on auto renewal, I also had it off, tho I had funds in my account.

I had purchased a card to renew, but was holding a month to see what would come out.

Lo and behold, last month I get an email saying my ps+ service was renewed via the existing funds. Thinking I messed up, I checked my account and autorenew was still off.

I chatted with an account rep, who said this one time they would honor a refund. But when I asked what I could do to prevent this in the future, he kept telling me that it was fixed now. PS+ is a 5 year old system, bolted on to a legacy network that has been hacked multiple times, featuring a website that seems to be doing hard math whenever it loads and an official blog with abysmal SEO. This fine thread run by Frisky is primarily how I get almost all psn info.

My experience is extremely unlikely, but not terribly surprising.

Man, i've been waiting for a couple of weeks for Shovel Knight to get a small Discount, seems like it's not gonna happen anytime soon, missed out when it did go on sale.

I'll just buy it, been itching to play it for some time already.

I've been waiting for it to go on sale as well but only because I've already paid full price for it on Wii U. Game is fantastic though and easily worth the price of admission.

I'm gonna say it's you since few people seem to have that problem. Did you turn off automatic renewal and automatic funding from wallet?
