10 Telltale games are now a part of PS Now's subscription, which is good since they charged full price ($4.99) for temporary rentals of each episode of their series.

The PS4 FW 3.50 beta will be going live soon, so they revealed some of the features being added with the update:

New Social Features
  • Friend Online Notification – Want to know the moment your friends come online? With this update, you can, as we’ve added an option to be notified when members of your friends list sign on the network.
  • Appear Offline – Sometimes you want to play a game or watch a movie without being bothered by friends. Now it’s easier to go incognito as we’ve added the option to appear offline. You can designate if you would like to appear offline when you log-in or at any time from your Profile or the Quick Menu.
  • User Scheduled Event – Time for a play date! We’ve added the ability to schedule a future gameplay session with your friends on the system. When your event starts, users who registered for the event will automatically be added to a party so you can start playing right away.
  • Play Together – This features allows all members of a Party to see what each person is playing so that you can easily join a friend’s game, or start a new game together.
Other New System Features

  • Remote Play (PC/Mac) – We’re bringing PS4 Remote Play to Windows PC and Mac. This feature won’t be available to test in the beta, but you can look forward to it soon.
  • Dailymotion – With this update, you’ll be able to live stream directly to Dailymotion on PS4. We’ll also support archiving live broadcasts, like we do for other streaming services.

Ha! Imagine someone being introduced to Telltale games on PS Now, failing the quick-time events, and blaming it on lag. They'll never know that choppy gameplay is a staple of these games.

I still have to spend $21.75.  I think I'm between the REmake bundle for $28.79 and some combination of older games that never go on sale.  Something like Patapon 3 with Fire Emblem 3 PSP or DJ Max Portable 3 for around $25.  Some wise person push me over one of the cliffs on to the jagged rocks below.

already have both on ps3. I think i might bite on firewatch (even though I dont want to), driveclub dlc, or something else. If I had known the sales were going to be horrible then I wouldve bought some stuff yesterday

 
I want Firewatch very badly but I know it's like two hours and I can't bring myself to buy it for more than $10 and even then I'll have to think about it.

Yeah, I made that mistake several times in the last hour apparently and only just caught it a minute ago when I couldn't figure out why I was getting FE Fates videos on YouTube.

So to correct myself I'm between Breath of Fire 3 PSP (I seriously just typed Fire Emblem 3 again) with Patapon 3 or the RE HD bundle. I wish RE was like $5-8 cheaper though and I BoF may wind up in a flash sale at some point (and I have a physical PS1 copy (not that I'll ever play it)).

I forgot to consider DLC (though I could have bought that DLC for 20% off two days ago).

Got it with my 20% the other night. So I guess I did consider some DLC since I actually bought that along with Hand of Fate DLC and the Helldivers DLC I didn't have. :rofl:

I think I just have ongoing guilt about not buying the Rocket League DLC even though I don't really want it.

Going by your sig, you seem to like Fire Emblem and XCOM, so I'd have to highly recommend one of my favorite Vita games, Lost Dimension. It's a superb strategy game similar to those two and the story is mysterious and full of twists and turns like the Dangan Ronpa games or 999. The sale on it ends tomorrow.

To fulfill the remainder, I would have recommended the PS1 RE games on sale, but I'm sure you have them already. If so, I'd say you should take a leap of faith on .99 movie rentals - this week is the first in a long time where they aren't complete crap. Some seem to be quite good actually, but I haven't seen them myself. The ones I'd suggest are Journey to the West, Filth, Admiral, Girlfriend Experience, and Dr. Cabbie; Dr. Cabbie is about an Indian doctor who moves to America, his credentials aren't recognized here so he has to become a cabdriver, but he sfarts practicing medicine anyway illegally in the back of his cab.

Helpful except that I have an unopened copy sitting behind me right now. ;)

It's a good suggestion otherwise that I had no idea was even on sale.  There's too many discounted things that haven't been in the sale section lately.

If you don't mind sitting on it, Vita will almost certainly have a cult following once Sony stops supporting Vita in ~5 years. (They've already stopped producing Vita TVs.) Keep your copy sealed. Currently, Amazon's price is the lowest at $23; when they run out, the next lowest seller is at $29 and will likely push his price past $30. It would be hard to imagine that you won't be able to get at least what you paid for it. That way, you can start playing the digital copy right away - and you really should because it's that good.
 
I should mention that if you do go with a movie rental, don't order it on Vita because it won't let you watch it on PS3 or PS4 then. You can't even stream it - you'd have to download the whole thing onto your precious Vita memory card.

Unless it's changed, movie rentals are for 30 days but once you begin playback, you only have 48 hours to finish it.

I feel like I should buy RE because it's on sale but not sure if I actually want to play the RE games anytime soon.

Website seems to be having issues, have all the PS+ games in cart and keep getting the "can't be processed at this time" error.

Oh well, have a month to grab them.
