All this mentioning of LotR, Hobbit, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson... it reminds me how much I don't really care for fantasy.  I do love scifi but fantasy and horror do nothing for me.  I find Game of Thrones to be completely boring.  I can see people watching it for the fan service alone but even that content is pretty twisted.  I'd rather watch an old wild west movie than that and I am not really a fan of wild west stuff.

Back to gaming... I'll be really surprised if we have a flash sale.  I'm still betting on next Friday just like last year.  That said the deal for the spend $100 get $15 ends at 11:59pm on the 21st.  So, there will at least be new sales on the 21st to pick from to round things out even if we don't get a flash sale.  I don't think I'll come close to the $100 myself... though the idea of just buying some stuff that never goes on sale and considering it a 15% off of $100 is somewhat tempting.

Eh, I think I'll be spending in the $70 range this week, and even if no flash sale, will just spend the remaining $30 next Tuesday [new weekly sale posted] before midnight [end of promotion]. Shouldn't be difficult.

 
In regards to a possible flash sale, I'm pretty sure the way it works is the third Friday after the first Tuesday of the month. That would put it at next weekend.

At this point, (almost) everyone knows how it works. What everyone wants/wishes for is a flash sale NOW so that the 'spend 100 get 15' doesnt go waste.
 
So I bought BF4. Think that's pretty much all I need. Is NFS Rivals worth it or is that too a pretty meh game? Haven't Played a NFS since Underground (which I loved)

Remember when Blizzard sued new line cinema because they were making a movie titled "Diablo"... made them change the name.

(Was a mexican drug lord/revenge type movie with Vin Diesel, which I can't remember the name they changed it to. The characters name in the movie was referred to as "El Diablo" and Blizzard got upset)
