He as not very difficult, but he is just so different from the other bosses and had some cool dialogue. A lot of the bosses are just some big beast, but he is human(ish?).

Now I want to play Resident Evil 4 again. God damn what a good game.

Nothing on sale has interested me that much. I would buy Wolf Among Us if they put that on sale for a couple bucks or Walking Dead S1. I have too many games that I have not beat already though. I am doing pretty decent right now though. The only two physical games I have bought, but have not beat are Diablo 3( bought it last black friday) and Witcher 3( bought it this black friday). I am not sure if I will ever beat Diablo.

It did load at strange times and took a bit longer to load than the PS3 version, but was still ran fine. Beat the whole game on the Vita and only had it lock up once. I really liked Lost Dimension.

It's B1G1 10% off on all cards (PSN/XBL/NES), with a Target card you get an additional 5% off everything purchased and makes the entire card purchase close to 10% off total (aka 2 $20 cards = $36.10 where as 10% off 40 would be 36 even.. close enough IMHO)

Off topic, I just realized Nintendo E-Shop abbreviates to NES.. very clever Nintendo.

Well yes, it was just on sale last week and I almost forgot to buy it until the last minute. The implication I was responding to was that it had been on sale previously which I couldn't recall.

that was the first time Brandish ever went on sale, and it felt like an eternity before it did go on sale. I've been playing it since last week, and it would have been worth full price.

I don't know about the Target sale, but I recently picked up psn credit at Fred Meyer's for something like 27% off. That deal is over, but the next time it happens I'll happily pick up credit for regulars here for a slight premium to cover my gas/time. I can email codes or mail cards, I don't really care.

For reference, I picked up $120 in credit for $88 -- (stacking 10% coupon and $20 off $100). next time deal is up hit me up if interested.

It's really good so far, but I like dungeon crawlers. It plays like a top down 'legend of grimrock'... grid based and top down like a traditional roguelike, but monsters move on a timer like in LoG and those games. Attacking/blocking is also a bit action based -- different monsters have different patterns and you need to time your attacks so you're not left open for counters. Dungeons are well designed, I hear puzzles get really cool later on too. even early on there are some minor puzzles -- pit trap rooms, door opening pressure plate puzzles, etc, though it starts off easy.

I haven't been using a guide but i had heard about a casino, so i found that and am currently 'lost' to playing a card game there over and over... eventually i'll break free of that and get back to the actual game, lol.

Your inventory is very limited at first but you eventually find magic containers to expand that. Combat is simplistic but fun. Story is secondary to gameplay -- just enough to piece everything together. Overall mode is serious, in a good way. zero complaints, really, except perhaps I wish it was vita native so there was a plat to get.

Aren't Target GCs 10% off right now? That would be a better stack than using Redcard.
 
Ah, after a failed attempt at getting my 10% coupon -- first they said they didn't know about the promotion, then  they asked for 'screenshots' of it [what?!], then i just sent them a link to the blog, then they told me they'd 'escalate' it, then I got emailed about my 'voucher code not working' and to mail them the receipt.... finally, they just sent me a 10% off code.

Which is nice.  My time plus their time wasn't worth the 10% I'll save [seriously, don't they know how much each customer service intervention costs?] but it was the principal of the matter.   

I guess I'll wait on my nearly full cart to see if there is an overlapping flash sale in the coming days.

I wish Brandish was on sale at any other time of the year and not the holidays aka the busiest shopping season of the year. I only got around to watching a gameplay video today and it looks like something I'd really enjoy. Would I have bit at $8? During a dry spell of good sales, yes.

I have my pages set to 50 post, there was a lot of convesation to scroll through. I made a smart ass comment on a site forum on a shitty day. Does that excuse making a dumb comment? No, of course not, I apologize to anyone who was offended by my post.

I come here because I enjoy this community, I'd like to continue that. I mulled over writing this post hoping it would just be something stupid I said on a crap day. Seeing it come this far in the tread, and being shat on for it makes me feel like crap. I will practice better judgement next time if we can please just let it go?
