So I'm new to the ps4 and looking at the new sales on my ps app. If it doesn't say ps4, it won't play on the ps4 right? Is it best to browse on the console to see what's eligible? For some reason I thought some PS3 games worked on it.
 
I wonder if the 3x bonus stacks with the Playstation credit card. That could make for some great deals because the credit card gives you 10x the points. Could be looking at 30% back if it works like that.

No PS3 games work on PS4. If there's a version of a particular title that works on PS4, it will be labeled as PS4. If you want to only shop PS4 games and don't want to shuffle through the different platforms, use your console. It will only have applicable games for sale.

I'm on the fence about those as well. Well, I decided against Metro as it goes on sale plenty and might even be able to grab the disc for 10 bucks. Capcom Arcade I've considered each time it goes on sale but didn't pull the trigger. I have all or most of the games in the PSP collections but wouldn't mind having them for PS3. I think this is the cheapest it's been so far($9 last time iirc) so maybe I'll finally go for it.

If it does stack, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't stack like that. It would be more like 3x + 10x. Pretty sure you'd get the 3x (based on the purchase price) immediately for the purchase and then get the 10x (based on the amount you spent on psn using your card) later when you get the points from your credit card statement.

 
Nice sale. Kind of funny though because aside from the PS One Classics, I'm not sure the rest would be considered "essentials". And there's a lot of games that would be considered essential IMO that aren't there.

But whatever. Probably will pick up a few PS1 titles I didn't have (and probably will never find the time to play).

NFS: Rivals Complete

Metro:Redux (Will sell my physical copy for same price)

Also considering Watch Dogs Complete, Infamous First Light and Dragon's Age Inquisition complete.

If you have both Capcom PSP collections then you are only missing 1 game that is in the PS3 collection, Trojan.

is Infamous Second Son worth the price? should i get it or do you think it will be one of the monthly free games sooner or later? 

also is Tekken Tag tourney 2 still active? i use to play tekken 6 like crazy and tekken 5 @ the arcade back in the days and im in the mood for a fighting game.

I got it for $20 and haven't even finished the game completely.

It's a really good, fun game at least imo.

 
Infamous is worth every penny at 10 imo, will it be PS+ sometime? Possiblly but i would guess that wont be for prob a year or two seeing as how I can almost promise you we will get Knack or Killzone as a PS+ game before Infamous,  not to mention the fact that Sony has given us I think 1 maybe 2 AAA games free for PS+ this console generation, so it doesnt happen often and I wouldnt expect it to happen often so imo Infamous for 10 is pretty much a no brainer

I think just Dragon Age Inquisition Deluxe is on sale so. I personally am going to hold out for another sale on the GOTY edition (or just play the vanilla physical game I already own...).

Great sale just in time for my new HDD. I opted for Nyko's expansion bay and a 3TB 3.5" drive, total cost $64 via Warehouse Deals. Now for the fun process of migrating from my current 1TB drive.
 
Wow, so that is the sale price for Sonic Racing. I thought maybe the PS+ discount just didn't kick in yet, terrible for a three year old PS3 game.

Should I wait for a sale on the PS4 version of Tearaway, or is the Vita version better? Maybe I'll pick up Tomba, too. Is Persona 4 Golden worth picking up if you have the PS2 version? Not sure if I should play with PCSX2 or Vita. And damn, bought Breath of Fire IV way too early as I always do for these RPGs that go on sale.

Well if you do wait(and doesn't become a PS+ title) it's not like it doesn't go on sale fairly regularly. If you aren't going to play soon I wouldn't worry about it.

Tempted by Metro:Redux, but will probably pass.  Amazon has the disc for $20, and I'd rather have it physical, I think...

 
I guess Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon wasn't supposed to be on sale, as it's been removed from the sale despite already having PS+ and regular sale prices applied to it.

I was interested in that at first, but the design leaves the PS4 a tad, bulky. Besides, I can't chance risking a system that was designed with 2.5" drives in mind with a 3.5" drive. The 2TB that I just bought a couple of days ago from the link a couple of pages back will have to do. If I'm starting to run out of space on the 2TB, I can definitely work around that. Since everyone and their mother has made 40-50GB (or higher) the norm, even 1TB isn't cutting it anymore.

Back on topic, the Watch_Dogs Gold Edition is definitely on my short list, maybe the GTA Trilogy as well.

This is a good point to emphasize - for those of you looking at the Dragon Age Deluxe sale, make sure you understand that the Deluxe version isn't the same as the GOTY version (which has everything). The GOTY was on sale for $24 a few weeks ago.

Well there are only two (Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light). For $9 why not just get Metro Redux which gives you both? But if you have to choose only one, I'd get Metro 2033 Redux which is the first of the two.

 
I got $40 in PSN Credit, and not sure if I want to get something like GTA5 (again) or not.

(Loved it on 360.. but when I own it... Online didn't work worth a damn)

I swear it's regularly been cheaper.
