Damn you, don't tell me this. I don't need another game on my wishlist/backlog. Especially with Lego Dimensions forcing my wallet to put out like a $2 hooker.
Hey man, I have a crippling Disney Infinity addiction, so I understand. But just think, you could get this sprawling game instead of 4 lego men and a go-kart or whatever's in those things!

Also, it may be better than any game of 2015, and it's a great start to the year that will finally see the release of Persona 5.

Well, considering that Sony seems to be completely unwilling to put anything I want on actual sale, I might get it sooner than later. Very annoyed that this is the second time that MS has had a sale on Alien: Isolation for ~$10, and Sony has yet to price it that low (at least since I got my PS4.) But given how much I have spent on Lego Dimensions, and how much I still have to play in that platform, I'm trying my hardest not to buy games for a while. Plus, it's not like it's going to get any more expensive, so I can wait for a bit. But I have thrown it on my wishlist, so I'll get around to it eventually.

Sure, I get that. I'm trying to get as much done in it as I can before XCOM 2 is out because I know that'll take up all of my time.

(I have yet to play any of Infinity 3.0, but I have bought all of the Marvel figures and all of the non-Prequel or Rebels Star Wars figures. Even the Light FX ones.)

If only Sony had any say in the pricing of Alien Isolation.

I wish I could recommend this but I simply cannot. It's a perfectly solid game from a technical stand point but utterly soulless when so many charming rhythm games came out on Vita and 3DS the last two years.
I normally don't do rhythm games (the exceptions being Elite Beat Agents and Dancing All Night), but I thought this one looks like it has a lot of style.

I know sandwich didn't like it, but plenty of others do. Read some reviews and see if it's for you. I don't like the genre so have no opinion on it.

Definitely getting FFVIII, IX, and Vagrant Story. Are there any Square Enix ports that should be avoided? FFVI seems like it would suffer from the same problems as the Chrono Trigger PS1 classic., since they're both SNES ports.

I could be wrong about this but don't think the FF games have loading times like CT does.

I kind of want to finish up my FF collection but I can't make myself spend $10 on Final Fantasy III (what are the chances it'll ever hit that $5 sweet spot?)

I also have Final Fantasy X/X-2 on the PS4 so I'll skip that on the vita.

Might as well get Parasite Eve II since I bought the original Parasite Eve when it went on sale.

It looks nice, it plays tightly, and it's hard as fuck. Like I said, it's perfectly competent and even good but it lacks a soul, lacks that spark that makes takes it from a solid game to something memorable.

It's not even that I don't like it. I want to like it very badly and I'll play a song or two and put it down. It's not one of those games that has that deep hook that keeps you playing song after song because there's nothing that grabs you and pulls you in to it.

To me it's the other side of the coin of Theatrhythm. Theatrhythm was overly simple, kind of loose, and not mechanically refined. But it had charm coming oozing out of every orifice and wrapped it's legs around you and wouldn't let go even if the actual gameplay wasn't super engaging. Xonic lacks all that but has tight mechanical gameplay. Ultimately the former has gotten far more time because it at least had a draw to keep you coming back once you've played most of the songs and seen what it has to offer. Other than the nuances of ramping up the difficulty and new song clips (they're like 90 second clips that clearly just stop mid song) you've seen everything Xonic has to offer off the bat.

It's like going on a date with a woman just drop dead gorgeous and then has no substance and just sits there expecting you to enjoy her just because of her perfection. Sure it's fun for a bit but that's going to lose it's luster real quick. I would rather go out with a still lovely woman who's nuanced or has depth or something charming at least that engages you even if she's not technically flawless.

I wouldn't count on it but at worst it continues to go on sale for $10 every year so I wouldn't bother if not in a hurry. (Or get it on Steam where it is more likely to get that cheap)

What is Corpse Party: Blood Drive like?
I remember playing through the original years ago, but I heard the new one is Episodic or something.

So far

Far Cry 4 Gold (Finally!, I drove to ever Walmart in a 30 mile radius on Black Friday and no one had the Complete Edition. When I was flipping yesterday I learned the complete edition is just a voucher in a box so.. this works)
Far Cry 2 Complete

Wishing I got Retro City Rampage DX but didn't want to add $5 for the .25 I needed.

Debating

Sleeping Dogs PS4

Thief 4 PS4 (played it on PS3, was so lagged)

^^ Sleeping Dogs is well worth $10, especially if you haven't played it. Not a great "remaster" but definitely a great game.

So for anyone that has the Witness are all the puzzles just drawing lines on graph paper? The gt review says they limited what they showed on purpose, but every puzzle looked like it was the same.

Bought Space Invaders: Infinity Gene as soon as I saw it was on sale. Probably won't buy anything else this week since I spent so much during the last flash sale.

Bah. So they finally decided to put FFX/X2 Remaster on sale for Vita. Waited 9 months for it to go on sale before giving up and buying it full price, and within another month it finally goes on sale. Typical.

The Witness is another overrated indie game that paid off the reviewers.
I already said that I really don't like Jonathan Blow and loved it regardless but keep believing those conspiracies.

So for anyone that has the Witness are all the puzzles just drawing lines on graph paper? The gt review says they limited what they showed on purpose, but every puzzle looked like it was the same.
Yes, there's a lot more to it. I don't want to elaborate much on it because the discovery is the biggest part of the game.

What is Corpse Party: Blood Drive like?
I remember playing through the original years ago, but I heard the new one is Episodic or something.
Not episodic like a Telltale game if that is what you are thinking. The story is broken up into chapters that jump character to character as the story unfolds.

That said, I didn't enjoy it near as much as the previous game, Book of Shadows. This one added a map that you move the character around in, as opposed to the old one that was first person, like Wizardry. Blood Drive felt more annoying if you got stuck, and the loading is pretty bad. Plus I wanted to throttle the characters that wanted to return to the hellhole they escaped last time, lol.

Oh my mistake!
I thought it was the sequel which takes place in a hospital...

Hence the name "Blood Drive"

Now I feel stupid as heck.. apparently that's "Dead Patient"

I remember playing through the original years ago, but I heard the new one is Episodic or something.
It plays similarly to that of the original Corpse Party as a third person top down game where you investigate the school. Its not episodic as much as the game is broken into chapters. Still has "wrong ends" and grabbing tags off dead bodies and the like.

I didnt like it as much as the original. I felt they added more gamey parts into it like managing flashlight battery life and running from ghosts while also giving you stamina that drains. While the original focused on the environment and story for those tense moments, this one not so much as the creepy factor was practically nonexistant for me since it was replaced with those gamey parts.

Also, if you didnt play Book of Shadows, I feel they did a good enough job to give you the gist of what happened. I didnt play it, but still feel like I had a grasp on it enough.

Overall, don't expect it to give off the horror vibes like the original (the chibi characters dont help), but the story is still pretty good.

Edit: As previously mentioned, the load times are atrocious as well. And i dont know if its the game or my vita, but my vita crashed from time to time as well.

As I said I thought it was Dead Patient, the sequel.
