I loved Risk of Rain and have been excited since it was announced for Vita. PS4 and Vita crossbuy and only $10 is perfect. Never did play multiplayer on PC, so I can't wait to dig in again.

 
Please use the spoiler feature if general gameplay about Ratchet and Clank. I have stayed away from everything except the announcement trailer. This is my favorite series of all time so please forgive this fanboy comment.

After you beat the game and stay for the end credits, Ratchet and Clank go off into the sunset at which point PSASBR2 is announced for the PS4.

They're a guilty pleasure for sure. While everyone else is all about new gameplay experiences, better graphics, and VR, here's this little franchise about fighting hordes of cardboard men over and over with just the smallest incremental improvements in the next game. The DW franchise will still be here when PlayStation 10 rolls around. Amazingly enough, the franchise has grown enough in popularity that Koei Tecmo is finally starting to bring over their hardcore strategy simulations like ROT3K.

It's literally the Madden of the Eastern Gaming World lol. I look forward to anything KOEI-Tecmo puts out. Dynasty Warriors Gundam is my personal favorite but I havnt played it on a PlayStation. Only 3 on the 360

Wait... Are DW:G 1,2, or 3 not on the marketplace?! I'd love to play these on my ps4

Ah, $32 with GCU is good enough for me. With the reviews it is getting. I think it could have been a $60 release instead of a "budget" title.

If you want ratchet and clank to succeed, man up and buy at launch. It's practically half off a new game with GCU

Send a message that we want more of these fun creative games - not everything has to have the color palette of gears of war or the division

Well I just found out the hard way about the playstation hard drive screws

I'm sure anyone that has swapped HD's knows the pain I just endured

 
It's not your average screwdriver head. You need a smaller screwdriver or else you'll shear the head. Once you have the right size it's very easy.

yeah I spent like an hour with multiple tools electric and manual lol

then I looked online and read all the horror stories

but I have 1.5tb in it now so it was all worth it, now I can spend the next 3 weeks redownloading everything

I watched several youtube videos beforehand and found an appropriate sized screwdriver prior to starting. Same size works on the back plate of the New 3ds XL as well.

Well, I missed the preorder DLC for Ratchet and Clank so there's no sense in getting it until the next big sale anyway.

Besides I still haven't even played the PS3 R&C games.

 
Damn. Missed the pre order bonus for Ratchet and Clank. Oh well. It'll probably be on sale for a buck or two in the future. Can't wait to start playing this.

Seems like $39.99 is a pretty great price already. I would buy now, support the devs at launch, and help add towards the possibility or getting more games like this. Just my two cents.

I can't wait to get home from work today and get in on Ratchet and Clank.  I hope the movie is awesome!  Hell... I hope the movie even shows up in one of our theaters.

Excited about Risk of Rain too.  $10 seems like a great value considering how good I've heard the game is.

Anxious to check out R&C too. Surprised they didn't do a movie ticket incentive with the game. Would have been a nice bonus instead of the usual crap.

Definitely. They haven't done a great job marketing the movie so far either. I'm afraid no one will know its coming out or what it even is.

 
Went ahead and grabbed Tom Clancy's EndWar (PSP) before the sale prices end.  Even though I haven't played a game in weeks now (any platform) and I kind of feel like I might be done with gaming... I had the credit to burn.  Who knows, maybe I'll start feeling like gaming again in a few months.

There's already a banner with link on the main page of the web store for the Lego Sale.  It takes you to a Harry Potter movie sale though.  None of the games have had prices changed yet.  I don't actually care about Lego games, just noticed the banner and thought others might be amped for another sale.

I would think they'd want to promote it more with the movie coming soon, but maybe those are just advertised on channels I don't watch (which, to be fair, is pretty much anything other than FX for Fargo and Archer and USA for rasslin')

I only game a little bit per week but I buy games as if I were 12 with a large allowance

I have a problem and I am ok with that because it's hard to overdose or get HIV buying games on sale that I may never play

Yeah, I haven't seen much on either the game or the movie. But it's been getting stellar reviews with some saying it's graphics may rival even Uncharted 4's.

I think the $40 price might also be tricking some people into thinking it's a "budget" game, when I've read that's to honor the original game's price. I do vaguely remember the first one (and maybe the others in the first trilogy?) being $40 back then.

And I really enjoy that the movie just uses the actual voice cast from the games, at least for Ratchet, Clank, and Qwark. They didn't try to make Zach Braff voice Clank or something.
