With either Ampage?
The reason I asked, site say 5A is the size I should have, but... I couldn't find it, and further went on to say any other is a fire hazard.

Eh, as I said over thinking.
If it's drawing 5A then the 7A is what you want. If you go 3A it could be a potential fire hazard as it might overdraw.

Thank you, so it'll only draw what it needs amperage wise?

What I mean... if the cord is rated 7A it will only provide up to 7A but can do anything lower
while voltage is fixed right?

I feel so ignorant and stupid. I'm the son of an electrical engineer, have a Masters in Computer Science (Network Administration focus), but I know nothing about electrical current and usage. Hell I'm been reading up on amps for the last hour.

Double checked my PS3 and PS4, both us a 7A 126V.. so as you guys said I'll go with that, since they all supposedly use a universal cable.

The cord itself doesn't draw anything it's just a conduit for electricity to flow. So, you just want to make sure you have a cable big enough to allow the proper current to pass through. Just match up the amperage on the back of your console with the rating on the cable and if the cable is the same or slightly higher you're fine.

So glad that was solved here in the deals forum. Tell me more about the math junk and what you're going to buy.

It's a power cord not a power supply... just use the thicker or higher rated cable. You can't go wrong with that because it's just copper wire... not anything special. It just needs to be thick enough to handle the load the power supply will be drawing. That's why MOST Pc power supplies use the same thick power cable... or electric dryers use the same size power cable. It's to just over kill on the wire because the appliances use power at different rates.

That other power cord is probably for an older or lower end system, DVD Player, VCR or something else.

But again, it's just a wire. Just use the thicker, higher rated wire and you should be fine.

If anyone is interested.

I was looking through the current sales just to be sure I didn't miss anything.  Several games just weren't cheap enough so they can sit in my wishlist but then I stumbled on Kenka Bancho Badass Rumble.  I dislike it when they don't put any effort into a store listing.  I mean, throw some pictures up at minimum.  Anyway I gave it a google search and realized that it's the kind of over the top crazy beatemup (with extra stuff) that I really like.  So I bought it and set it to download to my vita.  It reminds me a little of Tokyo Beat Down on DS.  I loved that game so much and still own it.  Anyway, looking forward to giving this some time when I'm done with Shantae Pirates Curse on my 3DS (or just need a break from it).  I have a feeling a lot of people completely overlook that game... I hope I end up liking it.  All the feedback I read online said, Yes... you will love this game.

Kenka Bancho is like a portable Dead Rising centered around high schoolers fighting in the various districts of Tokyo with the time restraints and weird, goofy stuff in it.

NBA 2K16's career mode is such a stupid idea by the developers. The story is really dumb in some good ways, but it's so disjointed and unfinished that it stains what should be the best mode in the game every year. Every new cutscene feels like a branching point for player choices, but since they probably needed to finish the game in nine months, they cut out all of the choices they ask you to make so you have to wait to find out what happened. The game part suffers greatly because of the forced story, so you barely play any games as they skip over large chunks of your college and rookie seasons because they don't want you to play the game at any point. I believe the story ends after the rookie season, but to have to give that up for a stupid story is a really bad way to do this sort of mode.

Seeing EA fall for 2K's trap and putting in a story mode in FIFA 17 is disappointing, though I don't know if that takes over the career mode or if it's a separate thing. It at least looks more sane than Spike Lee's story mode.

This might be a stupid question to ask, but does the PSN store version of FF9 contain the same enhancements as the steam version?
Pretty sure PS1 classics are required to be exact copies of the original ROM with no modifications. I know that's why we haven't gotten some that have had some copyright issues with sprites or music because they don't let them alter them to pass.

Coincidentally, I just found a box of unopened 10a 125v Cords that fit the PS2.

I might just use that...

Last year Radio Shack was going out of business, the store I visited had a deal during that last few days that you pay for a bag (Sizes were $5, $10, $15, 20) and anything you can fit in that bag was yours...
We filled either a $15-20 so full that items were balanced on the top of the items on the bag and the clerk let us have them. Dozens of USB Cables, a couple of (Shitty) key boards, 2 6 USB port wall plugs, etc etc.

Hello from the other side.

I must have been quoted a thousand times.

To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done.

But when I get quoted you never seem to reply.

PSA: Looks like there's going to be a flash sale today. It will go until 6/27. I saw this in a banner ad on a website. Unfortunately clicking it brought me to a "page not found," so I don't know what will be included.

Completely agree. Hell the cartoon/alien/superhero starting cinematic is a giant put off for me because it was just a precursor for these dumb things to come.

Apocalypse theme. Mad Max, Michonne, Borderlands Telltale game was what I saw.

Yeah I know that. For some reason, I vaguely remember FF9 was going to be the exception. I thought the iOS/android/steam/psn were all going to be identical.

Sucks that they aren't.

Any thoughts on Mad Max? I just picked up Shadow of Mordor for the second time and I'm quite enjoying it just as much this go around. Are there similarities between Mad Max and SoM?
Other than both games technically being open-world (Mad Max even more so), they're pretty different; I really enjoyed Mad Max, especially the car combat, and it was a surprisingly long game to finish (80-ish hours for me to get the plat trophy). There's a fair bit of repetition in terms of stuff you can do on the map, but what open-world game doesn't have that?

(Apologies for the double-post.)

Not really, I have only played SoM but I have been watching a lot of Mad Max videos as I want to buy it.

Shadows has a smaller open world, batman arkham style combat and is focused on the nemesis system which is a neat trick of scripting to make the enemies seem a lot less generic.

Mad Max is more focused on the large open world, driving and the feel of the world. Problem with MM it seems is that overall it is very repetitive and generic in terms of variation.

So it has a huge interesting world with not a huge amount of different stuff to do, but SoM has a densely packed open world but is heavily combat and nemesis focused. Also SoM has one of the worst game endings ever

Pretty much feel the same way about Mad Max but I burned out long before completing all the challenges. The story is fairly short but the side stuff stays fun for a pretty good while.

Mordor largely improves on all the aspects it borrows from series like Arkham and AC. It's very fun.

Mad Max exemplifies all the worst aspects of open world titles (big empty world, lame collectibles out the ass, boring combat, etc.) Lots of people liked it, but I found it pretty damn mediocre. It can scratch the itch if you've played everything else.

For those of you asking, FF9 came to PSN about 6 years before the enhanced versions came out on android, and pc.  So, yes, Squeenix had a time machine
