Those are the non-PS+ prices. I'd list the PS+ prices but already have all the games and can't see them. Xillia 2 I know is $5.99, Symphonia $3.99.

I think you missed the part where I say "essentially". "essentially" means "not literally, but almost" - that's kinda how it works. If you saw the same product "on sale" for 350 days of the year, you wouldnt find that silly and ridiculous? With what other products does that ever happen?

Here are some more PS Plus (Gold) Prices. In general, PS Plus is an extra 10% off from what I've seen, so all of these are likely 60% normally.

Can anyone comment on Hyperdevotion Noire?

I was considering it for the PC, but that Vita price is tempting.  Some of the Steam reviews complain about how broken the VITA version was.  Anyone run into crashes, graphical issues, etc?

Lol yeah exactly - a sale is supposed to feel unique from other offerings; keeping it on sale constantly ruins the value of the word. Sure technically it's listed as "on sale" under the guise of an artificially inflated MSRP price point, but we're not robots and can read in between the lines. It's like we should be greatful that Tinker Shitty of Colors is $8...again...for probably the 50th week in a row.

For those who are complaining. Now that the sales are up almost fully it is a much better looking sale. I added 6 games to my wishlist to track if I will buy this week.

I swear it feels like a steam sale sometimes in that buying the games is half the fun.

I can also say that they seem to be adding more because I noticed a couple games pop on the PS4 list as I was browsing. Ziggaraut showed up sub $5 for ps+ and I have had that on my wl for weeks.

So I am hopeful next week is good too. It really looks like it is a best of sales sale or best sellers sale.

So I am hoping for Salt and Sanctuary next week.

I'm curious - what is interesting to you in this sale? The only critically acclaimed game I see there is Oxenfree, and its deal is the smallest of all of them. Any suggestions?

I feel like there are a lot of vita games I want. I added the following to my cart:

Tales Of Hearts R, J-Stars Victory VS+, Hyperdimension Neptunia ReBirth 2, Monster Monpiece, MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies, Paranautical Activity, Lets Fish: Hooked On

Not gonna buy all of them cus that's a lot of money but any reccomendations from this list? Still have to check the PS4 sale again but didn't see anything that stood out to me there from my first pass through. Really wish Salt & Sanctuary was on sale but maybe next week.

I am only a sample size of 1, but I ran into zero technical problems playing through the game on Vita.

I thoroughly enjoyed the game, but with all Nep Nep games, you have to like the characters to really enjoy the game.

 
I think I have all of the games I can find, though there might be a few that are being weird and not showing up properly. Let me know if I missed something or one of the games with missing prices finally shows a price since I'll be adding PS+ prices to the list right now.

 
If you've never played Tales of Symphonia, you like RPGs, you have a PS3 and the room to download it, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles at $4 is a NO BRAINER. Dawn of the New World alone is worth $4 and it's vastly inferior to the original game.

I really enjoyed it, I am most of the way to the platinum and never ran into any issues.

I added Stories, Submerged, Lords of The Fallen(solid at this price), Costune Quest 2, 2 Tales games, Volume, Book of Unwritten Tales 2, RE Rev2(Target may have clearance disc for less), and Class of Heroes 2G to my wishlist. And Ziggaruat.

A lot of these are games I passed before or wouldn't have bay interest in until a sale. Most of them are in my wheel house. I usually like sub-$8 games and use opencritic.com to get an overal critic view and watch some videos etc.

Not saying I will buy all of them but first pass they all grabbed my attention. Will do more research. I have a week off and by myself coming up so I plan on binging all during that week so I may pick up a view games to fill that week in more.

Just glancing back at the sales page there may be two or three more games to add too. Like Action Henk and Paranautical Activity.

If you've never played a Tales game, this is such a good week to get yourself acquainted with the series. Symphonia and DotNW for $4, Xillia for $4, Xillia 2 and Tales of Hearts for $6, Graces for $9...  for like $23 that's 200+ hours of gameplay right there.

anybody own this game? lots of good reviews on steam, and its close enough to the steam price that id rather have it on ps4 for the trophies. just looking for some opinions on the game.

 
Any suggestions for the Tales of games? I have Hearts r, but I havent really had a chance to play it. What would the best Tales of game to start with thats currently on sale. Debating between Symphonia or Xillia...

It's odd that ever since packing away my PS3, I've heard so much about this nebulous "Tales" series. I was going into this assuming that most of them have been remade/ported to Vita but I only see Tales of Hearts R - it seems like a spin off. Is it? Any entry that you would say a noob HAS to experience?

I'd say Symphonia and maybe Xillia. I have played Xillia but I have read that Xillia 2 is actually the better game.

I'm a huge fan of Graces f, but mostly because of the combat. The post game 'f' arc is great too.

Relatively good. If you liked Bayonetta, it's similar. If you liked Bayonetta, $20 is fair for the game. If not, I'm not sure I'd recommend it at more than $5.

Transformers was pretty good imo. It's very short though, and I only beat it twice, but I enjoyed it, and I paid $25 last Black Friday. It has one of the better soundtracks I've ever heard. There are parts that'll challenge you, like I believe the 2nd to last time you fight Megatron, that boss fight is insane, and I died alot.

 
Alright, this is an amazing sale for jrpg.

Now, can someone tell me the difference between Rebirth 1 and 2? I see the sequel (or whatever it is) is cheaper then the first, kinda intrigued by them for their prices.

Also, Monster Monpiece, i've heard some people talk that it's pretty good, which by seeing the Screenshots seems pretty cool.

I thought that was one of the easier fights. I recorded mine and didn't get hit til the
unexpected QTE
. The one I have major troubles with is the
devastator / menasor
fight.

Oh wow, I totally forgot about that 2nd fight. It's been like 6 months since i played it, that I forgot that one gave me nightmares too.

Yea. I was reading that as well. I decided to just get Tales of Xillia. Its only $4, and Im not even going to be able to play it until I get a ps3. So hopefully, if I like it, there will be another Tales sale down the line so I can pick up the sequal. Im really hoping for a ps3 price drop soon so I can get one.

A little disappointed Megaman 8 showed up in the list then got taken out.  Was going to get it for my son to play on Vita that is on a Megaman kick.  Maybe next week ... :(

Pass on Ar nosurge. We're never getting the related Ciel nosurge, it has performance issues, and is mediocre by most accounts. It is is successor to the Ar Tonelico games though, if that means anything to you.

Totori Plus is the second game in the Arland trilogy. It goes Rorona, Totori, Meruru. You can start with Totori, but I also think it's been cheaper.
