PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I am getting a good amount back from taxes and a decent bonus next week.   You all know what I am going to spend it on...

I really don't like Hillary.

It sucks because if she doesn't get the Democratic nomination, we'll have to listen to the conversation about how the Democratic party is a bunch of sexism aholes who don't want a woman in office. And if she gets the nomination and loses, it'll be because America is filled with sexist aholes who don't want a woman in office.

I absolutely believe a woman could get elected, but not her.

Very real possibility she dont get nom at this point, Uncle Bernie has a huge lead in new hampshire, something like 20 points. Neck and neck in Iowa, he could win both the first 2 primaries.

Interesting stuff for sports fans to read about espn thinking. They have no reason to not continue current stance as they are the main reason a lot of people still have cable, live sports is the last tent pole holding up the cable bundles. ESPN is a large dollar item to include for cable/sat bundles, they aint giving up that money any time soon.

Did mention that sling tv is bringing them significant new viewers though which is good.

Interesting quote:

WSJ: Is it true that you had certain options in your Sling TV deal that allow you to terminate the contract if it is cannibalizing your core pay TV business?

Mr. Skipper: I’m not going to contradict that. Our concern was: there is no financial benefit to us if people trade down [pay TV packages for Sling], but there is financial benefit to us if new entrants come in. We’ve had meetings with Dish. They, to our complete satisfaction, have showed us their research. We are highly satisfied that the overwhelming majority of Sling TV subscribers are new entrants.

Something like sling to me would be a reason to ditch cable, not a reason to start subscribing to something like that if I already cut the cord, but I guess espn was a big reason to get it if you were a cord cutter.

I finished Wolfenstein Old Blood last night...definitely a fun little game. Took me about 10 hours to do the story, nightmare levels and about 90% of the collectibles. Gonna clean those up tonight but not bothering with the challenge rooms as I tried a couple and didn't get close to the scores needed for gold medals.

I still have those to try and do, there is a good video guide for them by a guy who gives good tips on what to try to get a high enough score. Ive done the first only so far, took a few tries but finally got it after watching the video guide.

Video guide I was talking about, biggest thing I think is getting consistent head shots.

I wish I could find a good text guide that listed the collectibles in order.

They're not that hard if you know what you're doing and watch the videos in PSNP's trophy guide. You also need to be pretty good at getting headshots--I found that I had more success with those when shooting from the hip rather than aiming down the sights.

If I can do the challenges in Old Blood you can too.  I suck at FPS.  the video guides show you exactly what to do.

Like mad max so far?
Yeah. A few slow downs / crashes but so far plays pretty well. Finished the first two Acts. Hit a bit of a wall so leveling up Max and the Car. Doubt I will go for plat (hate driving challenges) but will probably try to clear out everything. The driving in general is pretty decent. Being mostly open world though makes it easier then trying to drive in a congested city.

Probably try for the first story mission in Gas Town tonight or tomorrow.

Well I'd prefer them be text+screenshot guides since many people unfortunately don't describe locations well. Video collection guides are a huge pain in the ass but tend to be more common.
Especially the dumb ones who confuse left and right. I still don't get how people can mess that up (besides the obvious "people are stupid" answer).

I think you have me confused with someone else. Although she scares me much less then Trump.
I think I am equally scared by all 4 of the front runners. It those are where the 2 options come from then I will "waste" another vote on Gary Johnson so I can at least sleep at night knowing I voted for someone who (at least claims to) believes in most of the stuff I do.

Got no problems with video guides, way better than text guides to me as you can see exactly what you are supposed to do isntead of trying to guess what the fuck the writer is saying.

damn i sound like a therm
Not even close.

I think many of us have said the same about video guides. As someone who has used a ton of both style, I am starting to lean towards video guides. I agree it might take a bit longer at times due to the watching, pausing, and doing steps. However, so many text guides are so poorly written to begin with that you end up spending more time trying to figure out what the fuck they are trying to say.

The video guide I used for Until Dawn collectibles did that serveral times. He said go left and went right in the video or vise versa. Only a couple times but enough to be annoying. At least the video showed you were to go.

I had it pointed out to me that if Hilary Clinton gets elected, it will be the first time two presidents have had sex with each other. I wonder if they'll put that on one of those presidential facts placemats.
Well, the first elected presidents, it wouldn't be the first time an acting president had sex with another president.

I find that gamers complain way too much about games  A hobby that they supposedly love.

While I hate a poorly written guide as much as the next guy no way in hell would I ever sit down to write, edit, produce screen shots or a video for a guide.  Thats a shit ton of work that very few people get paid to do.  Its a big waste of time to me so I am glad for any guides to use.

We got less than half an inch of snow last night, and yet I saw two cars in ditches beside the road on my way to work this morning. #MarylandDrivers

My only concern with Bernie is that he's up there in age. 74 right now, with a September birthday he'll be 76 if he gets elected. It's going to be tough running another campaign at 80, so he may only be a one term president which makes me fear he won't get much done.

I'll probably come back to it if the game sees a $5 or less digital sale but I would rather just trade it in now with the GS promo and get back to other games. I also tend to not like challenge modes like this so its not an overly appealing process to begin with.
