PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

As far as I am concerned Mario Kart perfected kart racing on the first try and nothing that came since can improve on that experience. The rest of you are either ignorant to its greatness (hopefully only cause your too young to know any better) or YOUR an idiot.

Hopefully that last sentence wasnt too condescending for Tyler.
You're just old and stuck in your ways.

Netrunner is fun! Only played it once, but it didn't take too long to learn.
Note that Netrunner is a "living card game" (LCG). You can buy the base game and play with just that to start, but to really have fun with it you're going to need expansions and build new decks. These add up and they keep adding new ones. It's not as bad as a collectible card game (the difference here is that the packs for Netrunner are a known quantity - they aren't random), but it still gets expensive.

It is pretty cool how it works, but I didn't want to keep buying expansion packs so I gave up on it.

Mario Kart is the best, but I liked that game that was kind of a mix of a realistic (but arcade) racer and a kart racer, Blur. I had it for 360.

hmm.... correction... ONLY kart racer not named mario, but still damn good.
How dare none of you bring up this gem

No wonder you are always a console generation behind. Your scraping the bottom of the barrel playing games like that instead of moving on to the new hotness. Seriously, I have never seen that before and never heard of anyone mention it so I hope you didnt actually play that...

Yeah, I think I saw that somewhere. I just played using a friends starter set box and it was pretty cool though. For occasional play just having the starter set didn't seem bad, but I imagine if you play it a lot you'd want to get the expansions.

It does sound like a cool concept, but these deck building games scare me off a little with all the expansions and whatnot. Also I've never really played one in real life (and only Monster Monpiece in video game land).

I think I'm gonna order Forbidden Dessert to go along with Monster Boss. Only $8 if I use the first time Prime Now discount code thing!

Forbidden Dessert - is that like penis-shaped cake?

I had been looking for an excuse to post this, not real, but amusing all the same.

I bought Muppet Racing cheap from a going out of business sale at a K-Mart about two years into the PS2 lifecycle. I had just bought a used PS1 from a buddy a few months before that. Got a lot of play out of it with the wife actually too. You got to race through all the movies and there was even battle mode boas battles and a platforming mode!

I thought it was fun. Screw you guys!

I didn't end up getting the retail release, but the beta was fun from what I played. I wonder if there's still a decent group of players, or if everyone jumped shipped for The Division.
All that matters is the cool kids like Derek, Pancakes and Cro are playing the Division.

Dragon Fantasy: The Black Tome of Ice hits 3/22 on PS4:

They're considering it a Director's Cut of DF B2. It's a rework of Dragon Fantasy Book 2 and is included in the cross-buy for that title. Nice to see them taking this approach because I've put off playing Book 2 due to the bug issues. Curious about whether it'll use the same trophy list. I'd assume so but it seems like an odd thing to do.

According to your trophy list you haven't played Sonic Racing Transformed so your opinion is worthless.

I loved the original and have played a few since then and none the other Mario Karts measured up to the original IMO. Racing Transformed is my favorite by a mile. The changing maps, the larger number of maps, the difficulty, and the racing modes were all great. What about it fell short for you?

Shoulda bought this one of those times it was on sale. I'll probably pick it up eventually.

Well no, YOUR wrong, because my post clearly stated that Mario Kart couldnt be improved upon so I would be wasting my time playing anything inferior to my great (and clearly accurate!) childhood memories.

Oh and its Sonic. Everyone knows Sonic hasnt been in a good game since Genesis! YOUR WORTHLESS THERM!

The first one was quite fun, though short. I've put off playing the second because of the issues but once this hits I'll probably jump in fairly quickly. The Vita trophy guide indicates 15 hours for 100% which is always nice for an RPG.

Xenoraid is coming to PS4.

The email I got say Vita too, but that YouTube video doesn't.
This looks like another cool shooter. Is it twin stick? Is it a basic shooter with upgrades or is there some meta game or ship building with it? I really need to start sticking to shooters as they really are the most fun for me.

Speaking of that I cant get back into Flame Over. It just pisses me off. So I started 2013 Infected Wars and even though its very basic and was a mobile game I enjoy it more. Cause its easy. Im such a pussy.

I don't know if the racing was better in Mario Kart 64, but the battle mode was definitely improved I wasted countless hours in Block Fort and Double Decker with my friends as the addition of vertical space gave all kinds of different ways to evade / attack your enemies. Being able to troll the person who knocked you out of the competition by destroying your 3rd balloon by staying in the match as a babomb was oh so satisfying. Also 4 people being able to play instead of just 2 was another big improvement.

The kids love the muppet movies so I would probably have bought this if they had put it on the store.

Cool, now I'm really glad I bought both when they were on sale. I need to play the first Dragon Fantasy soon.

I thought the same thing before playing Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed, and I was surprised by its quality. If you don't go for the plat (time-consuming and highly aggravating), it's a fun time.

It also has a few multiplayer trophies (one that is almost assuredly going to require boosting), but they can be done for everyone in the party in a short evening. I had a lot of fun, it is very much the heir of Diddy Kong Racing as your car transforms between kart, boat, and plane depending on the area of the track. It also features a lot of tracks pulled from Sega properties. The Afterburner track in particular is quite inspired. Though some of those last few races you have to get 1st place in will break you in order to get the plat.
