Yeah, it just shit out and stopped registering randomly one day. Couldn't wipe it or anything since they don't read on PC without the vita. And since it wouldn't register in either the vita or pstv, it was pretty much useless. Still don't have any idea why it died, but when I was searching around, it seemed like it had happened to a few other people at least so it wasn't a one off thing.

I dont care if LaRouche plays or quits and I didnt read that article but just because a team said you can have your kid with you doesnt mean they cant change their minds.  I am siding more with the team now if he is the one that keeps talking about this like its a big travesty.  Stop being a baby and pay for a sitter if you need someone to watch your kid.

 
I had a coup for a free burrito at Chipotle so left at 1130 and came back at 1230.  Then I had a 1pm meeting that was canceled so I went with the guys to get some beer at Winghouse and was gone another hour and a half.  No green beer sadly.  But there were plenty of waitresses (that wont sleep with me) dressed up in special holiday garb!

TLDR:  fuck work.

Pretty sure he was just doing it to help his son make connections as early as possible to help him get into professional baseball.

Well I think either the request should have never been granted in the first place like Tyler said or they should've just continued to honor it. Just my opinion. Like if you're given a verbal promise of a certain wage before you start a job and get a pay cut later, sure the company is allowed to change their mind as you said. But does that mean you're not allowed to be pissed off?

But yeah if Laroche wanted this guaranteed it should have been written into his contract.

no way they would ever write something like that into a contract cause then every player would want something special and it would get out of hand quickly. I have a feeling the team didnt know how much the kid would be there and then if Tyler is right they probably didnt want to give away free coaching to the kid too.

And is he even that good a player? If he were a superstar we never would have heard of this issue...maybe the team just wanted him gone.

I wasn't saying the team should've done it, just that he shouldn't have expected it to be set in stone without having something in writing.

And he was once a really productive hitter, but age and injuries have really taken their toll. Pretty bad season last year, although he hit 26 hrs as recently as 2014. So I'd wager it's the injuries affecting him more than his age.

Yeah I'm kinda surprised he left $13 mil on the table. Gil Meche did something similar, though he kinda left on his own terms without the hostility that is involved in this situation.

 
Gotta cook dinner tonight with the lady still recovering. Probably just slide some pork chops and frozen biscuits in the oven and grab some canned beans or something out the pantry. At least I can drink while doing it!

Anyone ordered anything from Marvel? There website and customer service sucks. We put in an order for the Agents of SHIELD comic for one of my kids in January and then I tried to remove my credit card and their website is broken so that didn't work. So I contacted customer service and they said they removed it, but it turns out they didn't remove it. It's still there. Plus he still hasn't received any comics (though they did say 6 to 8 weeks so technically they aren't late yet). These Marvel people suck.

 
So on the March Madness game streaming site, if I don't log in to my cable provider, I can watch any game I want to, but have a 90 minute timer (that apparently refreshes if I leave and come back).  If I log in with my cable provider, the 90 minute countdown goes away, but I can't watch games on that are airing on TBS or TNT cause not part of cable package.  

TL;DR fuck cable
