PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee (Tom Cruise): I think I'm entitled to them.
Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I want the truth!
Jessep: You can't handle the truth! Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!
Kaffee: Did you order the code red?
Jessep: (quietly) I did the job you sent me to do.
Kaffee: Did you order the code red?
Jessep: You're goddamn right I did!!

That whole scene gives me chills because of the delivery.  I never thought Nicholson was that great except in that scene.

You want me on that wall, you NEED ME ON THAT WALL!

Who's Nicholas? You meant Jack Nicholson.

Gamespot screwed up and leaked the FFXV release date that was supposed to be announced tonight: http://gematsu.com/2016/03/final-fantasy-xv-launches-september-30

There's also going to be a new demo with an exclusive reward for the full game once completed:

A new demo, which first leaked this morning, will be available today, where you conrol a younger Noctis as he journeys through a dreamscape. According to Square Enix, the demo is meant to show off the game’s final visuals and combat system. If you finish it, you’ll get an exclusive Carbuncle summon for use in Final Fantasy XV. It’s actually the only way to unlock Carbuncle in the full game.

Hey you guys, there's this game called A Virus Named TOM.  Psnprofiles says people have earned 110 trophies for it even though it's not out yet, so it must be pretty popular.

In less confrontational news,

I found the Jackbox Party Pack disc cheap on clearance at Target over lunch.  Any of you bozos interested in joining a game tonight or Friday?  I remember it was lots of fun playing it on Cleaner' stream once upon a time.  There may even be a special gaming appearance by the Lady!

#passiveagressive?

Or fucking Batman
I thought about mentioning that but haven't seen it in over 25 years so wasn't sure how well I remembered him in it. Should probably give that a re-watch. Michael Keaton is still my favorite Batman, though I'm looking forward to seeing Affleck's with some of the comments in here.

I actually just re-watched it Monday night. Still holds up awesome. I mean he's kinda sorta doing a more psychotic Caesar Romano impression (the 60s TV show Joker for you jokers that haven't watched), but he still does it damn damn well.

I just watched it for the first time (I think, if I've watched it before I was really young and don't remember) and I loved it. It was leaving Netflix so I went ahead and watched it.

Jack Nicholson is the fucking man! The Shining, Chinatown, Departed, etc. and so on. How could anybody hate on that dude?! One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest!! Come on now.

So Star Ocean 5 comes out 6/28 and FFXV comes out 9/30. If SO5 is 400 hours and I play ~5 hours every day for those three months I should finish in time for FFXV, right?  :D/

He is a good actor, I just never thought he was as great as people think.

But I definitely need him on my wall!

I so wanted I Am Alive to be a good game. Probably the only game where an empty gun can be just as effective as a loaded one.

But the game sucks. Climbing is a chore. Seems like later in the game all enemies always go instantly Agro (black lives matter), removing one of the few unique elements from the game.

I'd say it's about time to phase out PS3 games from the program. Especially if these are the games we'll be getting from now on.

I loved the 87 Batman. Great movie, and really re-vitalized superheroes, unless you were alive back then you don't really get how important that movie was for kickstarting (and almost subsequently killing) the whole super hero craze of today, it also had one of the best soundtrack of all films (Prince)

My 10 year old self was bothered by the idea that Joker was responsible for killing Bruce Wayne's parents.

Zombi looks alright but I'm not much of a 1st person guy. The month is kind of meh for me to be honest.

Star Ocean 5 set for 6/28 here, complete with Zimm-friendly busy cover art: http://gematsu.com/2016/03/star-ocean-5-launches-june-28-north-america

Details about the bonus stuff if you don't want to zoom in on that image:

  • “Ring of the Valkyries” – Increases ATK, INT, and Critical
  • “Gold Bunny Statue” – Increases EXP and FOL
  • “Bushybrume Cincture” – Reduces amount of MP used
  • “Wristlet of the Stars” – Reduces Damage taken
  • “Secret Stahlian Tome” – Increases HP healed
  • Valkyrie Profile and Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria BGM – Customize the battle BGM within the game to battle music from the Valkyrie Profile series.
I need Valkyrie Profile on my Vita.

I just looked over his IMDB and I've only seen 7 of his movies. Batman was the earliest and Mars Attacks! is on the list.
I've seen:

Little Shop of Horrors (1960)

Chinatown

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

The Shining

Broadcast News

Batman

The Two Jakes

A Few Good Men

Mars Attacks

The Pledge

Anger Management

The Departed

The Bucket List

This morning I had to get an MRI which lasted over an hour. I fell asleep as I usually do and hope the results are good. The guy monitoring the imagining says to me your back again and after the test he asks me, "has anybody ever told you that you look like Seth Rogan?" I seriously hear that at least once a week. I guess we're twins.

I picked up Toukiden: Kiwami at GS for $4.99 and shocked it was complete. I usually never shop there but this price wasn't going to drop any lower. I might make 2-3 game purchases a year there and the last game I bought there was Tetris vita.

I've got my copy held for after work and am hoping it's complete as well.
