For sneakers, I head to the nearby Nike outlet and grab simple looking shit that is comfortable. Last time I went, it was 20% off the already discounted prices. Grabbed a couple of pairs of black sneaks with white trim for about 80 bucks.

Interesting. I downloaded the remote play app here and it works. But I don't get it. I never signed in or anything, but somehow it registered with my PS4 at home. How???

I don't have a DS4 here, but I might have to get one. It seems to be surprisingly quick. Anyway, turns out you can use the keyboard to control it, sort of. But I tried to play Gems of War and it's not really possible. You can select items and "click" them with the Return key, but it only responds to arrow keys, Return and Esc (to go back). Then you have the PS button, Options and Share which you can click with your mouse.

Also, and this sucks, turns out the Vue app can't be streamed. Lame. Thought maybe that would be a way to get Vue watching on a computer.

You never signed into to psn through the pc app? Thats how it connects, will connect to the ps4 registered to your psn id

What PC app? Are you talking about the remote play app? I didn't sign in. It never even offered to let me sign in. I don't think I have any other PSN app installed.

 
This is really kind of freaking me out. What alchemy is at play that lets it know which PS4 to connect to?

You talking about pc or phone?

There is a pc download you have to do for the remote play, it has you login to psn when you first start it up and then go through the prompts to connect similar to the vita ones.

Wont work for me at work, not on windows 8 or higher here.

It's a Mac. I didn't log into anything. I just downloaded it and installed it. In fact I didn't use the normal Mac installer, I used this thing called Pacifist because I wasn't sure if it was going to install some system stuff and I didn't want to do that at work. So I used Pacifist to extract the application from the installer and then I just ran it. It didn't prompt me to log in.

It's getting my login info from somewhere because when I looked in the preferences, it said I was signed out, but I clicked sign in and it signed me in as Crunchewy even though I didn't put in my username and password. Then I signed out and then when I tried to sign in again it prompted me for the username and password.

Only thing I can think is it got it from the keychain, but I thought that was application specific. Maybe not.

Yeah, I think it's getting it from the keychain. Safari stores website passwords in there, so maybe it just gets the one for logging into store.playstation.com and uses it as long as the keychain is unlocked. Pretty cool now that I got past the initial mystery of it. Would have been nice if it would have let me know what it was doing, though.

It's sort of like how when Amazon ships you a new device it's already logged in for you with your username and password. It just knows, man.

at least the original versions of the vita remote play app seemed to be able to find it via broadcast over your home network and maybe it still can. I didn't sign in to the pc remote play app or anything and I had to do the 'enter numbers from the console' thing and then it worked fine.

Its cause he defies logic. He is a complete douche to, well, everyone. And lots of people still give him a lot of money for ugly shit like those shoes. Granted, "ugly" is obviously only an opinion but the guy is a known asshole that hates everyone and everything and then he complains about being broke or in debt or whatever. And lastly wasnt he even spotted stealing music through a torrent or something after complaining about people stealing his?

Either way he is as big a douche as they come and people happily make him richer, or more in debt as he would say.

Not sure why this isn't automatically done. Microsoft has had this since the 360. Seems like something that should be pretty simple to add. I actually was looking for how to do this on my XBox One. Forgot it just does it automatically.

Well except when Live is screwed up and it some how causes achievements not to unlock. Reaching level 5 on Borderlands 2 is a trophy/achievement. Never unlocked for me. They were having some Live issues that day. Level 10 and 25 unlocked just fine. Strange.

And fuck MS and their non unlocking achievements.

Not to mention that the PS3 and Vita do sync automatically. But I haven't checked to see if it has changed in 3.5.

Well, you're making me unsure now, but I thought so. Anyway, the PS3 definitely does. You can set a time for it to sync.

I thought Cleaner was buying them? I have 3 years worth assuming my cards redeem properly next week (long story). Stupid live will apparently not let you redeem prepaid cards if you are on the month free trial and removed your credit card. My trial expires end of next week I think or early the week after.

So I could use them if Cleaner doesn't want them and my cards don't work.
