In the old ECW, fans would bring random items to give to the wrestlers to crack over someone's head, like a Nintendo.  A kindle would be perfect for that.  In fact, I kinda wish Damian Sandow had that gimmick when he was the intellectual savior to the masses, thinking about that now.  I'd have him steal something along the lines of Andy Kaufman by having him start reading a literary classic like War and Peace.

Knocked out the rest of GP3, just started GP2. Within a map or two of my earlier post I started getting #1 and nailed that on all but one race through the rest of the series. I still don't understand the vehicle upgrade system and other motorcyclists definitely have a higher top speed than I do, but aggressive turning was enough to do the trick. Is that how it played out for you?

I'm going to try to finish knocking out BttF tonight and tomorrow morning, but after that I'll be open for online play most evenings. Shouldn't take long to grind out if we do 4-5 at a time.

I signed up for the beta on their website previously. This weekend I got an email from Epic saying to play now. On PSN you have to sign into your Epic account and link your PSN ID to your Epic account. I clicked the link in the email and it did it really quickly.

The game is mainly the same except you play as different characters throughout that have their favorite weapons to use. It has an awesome soundtrack too, but I preferred HLM1 more.

Nice, I"m gonna have to head over there a couple times this month (tho you can actually get this at any time, they always have the ingridents even if its not a special bag)

Anyways of course South Philly is the way to go, and get those fucking bell peppers off of there!

 
Pacers and Raptors played a great game of "who doesn't want it the most"! Ended up being the Pacers, who turned over the ball 3 times on their last 4 possessions. Raptors did a great job of looking like they didn't want to win either, letting a 14 point lead slide all the way down to 3 in the last 6 minutes of the game.

Yea, still kinda that way even in gp2, im still only partially through that one, but bikes are a lot faster in it i think.

 
Speaking of reading books, just finished Red Rising.

Loved it, waiting on book 2 to become available for digital rent. 

For wren, there is a movie in the works.

Still Alice is on Starz. Such a great movie. I bawl like a baby watching it. Julianne Moore is always amazing.

Losing my vision or memory is a big fear of mine. Recently I found out my dad's mom has dementia. She has memory issues. My sister went to visit her and our grandfather and apparently she asked my sister the same question 3 times while she was there.
 
I watched the movie Alien for the first time. It was ok, definitely didn't live up to the 37 years of hype. Spoilers for an almost 4 decade old movie:

I really liked the first half. The whole second half was weird. Ash being a robot and leaking out a ridiculous amount of milk and semen basically was the turning point where it felt like the wheels fell off. From that point on everyone basically went into suicidally stupid mode. Why is Ripley bothering with the cat? Why didn't Parker hit the alien with a flamethrower, instead opting to deliver a weak melee attack? Why didn't Lambert get the fuck out of the way or duck? Why didn't the alien attack Ridley in the shuttle? Why didn't the last 3 of them just get into the shuttle, instead of risking their lives for supplies? And why the fuck is the Ash robot trying to suffocate Ripley with a magainze?!?!?

Anyways, too much weird and/or dumb shit that kind of pulled me out of the movie.

I haven't seen the movie in forever but I know a lot of people think Aliens is the best film in the franchise. Give that a shot.
 
I hate to be the one that brings this to everyone's attention, but megaman kind of sucks.  I mean it's a totally serviceable game I guess, but I'm not entirely clear on why it has spawned eleventy billion sequels and a frothing-at-the-mouth fanbase.

I never liked Mega Man that much when I was a kid either though. But thats because I am a quitter and hated having to figure out the "right" order to play bosses.

Mega Man might suck, but Mega Man X (as in the first game) does not.

Yup, good stuff.

I'm excited at the prospect of getting more Ned flashbacks through Bran's visions. I predict they'll keep coming and ultimately reveal Jon Snow's mother. I think it is very likely that the R +L =J theory a lot of fans have is true.

 
I tried to start watching Game of Thrones from season 1 the other day.  I didnt get very far into the first episode though as I was watching it from my friends server and it was terrible quality.  Im waiting for him to upload an HD version. 

 
You've gotta try and look at all of these old games/movies (Alien/Mega Man) in the context of when they came out. A horror movie in space was a pretty novel concept at the time, and they really pulled that off brilliantly. I don't know for sure, but Mega Man seems like it had a lot going on that hadn't been done before and was exciting (all levels unlocked from the start,  getting power ups from bosses and using them to have an advantage on other bosses, etc.). Plus the music is fucking bad ass. 

 
Okay guys, so we talked about hot Indian chicks before since there are so few of them and because we were making fun of Tyler liking Mindy Kailing.  Anyway, the hot Indian chick that I have talked about from Mumbai is here with my boss.  She is truly stunning.   She has an ass to match too.  HOTT!

I can't decide if I want to keep my UC4 preorder or wait to get it in the fall on sale. I want to finish borderlands, UC2 and UC3 on PS4 before I play it. And I have shadow complex tomorrow. Too much stuff lately.
