PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I was watching a stream yesterday and the host was eating tacos. Some guy in the chat said he hated tacos but he loved fajitas, which caught the attention of the host. So he asked how can you hate one and like the other when most of the ingredients are the same. The guy said he hated tacos because he doesn't like ground beef. So the host was all like well dude you can get so many different kinds of tacos. The guy said he didn't know if taco bell made other types of tacos but he would check. I'm not sure if it was a troll attempt or if the dude was clueless but it seemed crazy to me that there could be people that only get tacos from taco bell and possibly think they only come in one type.

IDK,  I rather have fajitas over Tacos.

Local American bar/grill down the street makes a good fajita.  Chicken, Steak, Shirmp or a combo of any two.

Green Peppers, caramelized onions, lettuce, and tomato, rice, shredded cheese (two different ones I think Cheddar and Monterey Jack), sour cream, black olives, and salsa.

Seems pretty different then most tacos (Even at places other then Taco Bell).

Probably getting that for dinner tomorrow.

The point wasn't are fajitas and tacos different. Of course they are. But if you can eat one, you can eat the other.

The point was that some dum dum thought tacos only came with ground beef because that's what he gets at taco bell and it hurts his belly, so therefore he thinks he can't eat tacos.

Even TB has chicken. Twice this year they fucked up my wifes order and she got chicken instead of beef.

We might be getting a Chipotle.  Will be nice to be able to get salmonella like other places in the country.

I like Shark Tank. Sure it's produced as much as any other reality show, but they don't get way over the top with things usually, and its usually fairly interesting.

I went and got a quesadilla from a local place for dinner. So good. Can't imagine thinking taco bell was the only option for Mexican food.

Only one of us can be declared super chill, Mild. Give it up.

But I'll probably lose the title once he finds out I think he's an ass, so then's your chance.

Anyone here ever been to Nebraska, specifically Omaha, before?
9 years ago for a 3-4 days. (Ironically I realize I'm wearing the University of Nebraska Big Red t-shirt I bought there - this very day)

It's the mid-west. It's Nebraska. Omaha's a bigger city than most in the area, but there's still nothing remarkable about it.

Started SV5 online play. So far I've won 1 of...12 ranked matches? Something like that. Crazy fast curb-stomping going on and I'm the stompee.

Figured out a way to easily grind out some of the online trophies. There's a standby mode you can use to set your PS4 to look for matches in the background and specify the type of match and that you want to automatically accept any matches. Without any prompting it just finds and joins matches. There's a trophy for playing 10, 50, and 300 network battles, and another trophy for 30 standby matches. Setting the PS4 to standby and auto-accept would just eventually run through all four trophies even when you're not at the PS4. No idea if you'd get banned for that, though, and they're all bronze anyway.

There's a couple trophies for getting 10 and 30 titles. Each character you take through any difficulty of survival mode gives you a title, so even just running each through easy would give you 18. Another method is to go to the store and buy a bunch of titles at 5,000 apiece; just running through the story mode and 10 easy survival runs gave me more than enough to buy the 20 additional titles needed for the trophy.

Not sure how many other trophies I'll get at this point. I'll probably keep going until I get to 30 standby matches for that trophy and then quit. The ranked online play is no joke.

Sweet, just popped first trophy in far harbor and im the first one to get it on TT, trophies aint listed on psn yet.

Its an unmissable story trophy so will be really common soon enough.

Finised the end of the automatron DLC, it was pretty meh.

Barely into far harbor, but so far not bad.

So Ascendant is pretty decent. I bought it a long time ago but never got around to playing it. It's a roguelike brawler, the combat is fairly simple and there's a ton of it, but each run is procedurally generated and the spells and weapons you end up with are basically just based on whatever pops up on that run.

It features the same drawback that most roguelikes do, it's too fucking long! The thing about Spelunky, the GOAT roguelike, is that the first time you finally beat it, you'll probably have spend about 30 minutes on your run. Whether you succeed or fail, you're always ready for another run cuz you know it won't take that long. Ascendant is not like that at all. Took well over an hour to beat it on easy mode. It just wears on you, and makes you think twice before you start up another run.

Uh, they have the College World Series there. That's about all I can tell you.

Yeah I thought so. Originally we planned on roadtripping to Wisconsin since they have the cheese and beer but I don't think my friend and I can drive 18 hours straight.

Wasteland 2 too! I'd buy it for that price on PS4. Get outta here Best Buy with your awful Japanese games on PS4 and actual cool Japanese games on sale on X1.

Sorry to hear your loss Bums.

Got back from Civil War a little while ago, good movie but not Marvel's best.  It was an improvement over Ultron, at least.

I beat Shadow Complex: Remastered. I accidentally ran into the ending without realizing it, so I only had 76% of the items and 95% of the map. I'm not sure if anything would be different if I had 100% of the items and map uncovered. I'll have to play through it at least a couple more times if I want the plat.

Great game. As far as Metroidvanias on PS4 go, I think I liked Dust more (that game is on my all-time list, so no surprise), and also would rate Guacamelee higher. There's really nothing wrong with this game, though. I don't regret paying full price Day 1, and I'd do the same for a sequel.

I got pissed at Rocket League and threw my controller and then let it idle and it dropped me out of the match. Then I got banned from online play for 15 minutes. Ugh.

This is like saying hamburgers and hot dogs are the same because they're both made of meat.

So, I'm maybe halfway through Challenge Mode in Ratchet and Clank and I only have 2-3 weapons at max level.  Think I'm gonna end up needing a 3rd playthrough for it.  I was doing pretty well farming those sandsharks until I accidentally killed them all.  Whoops.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the thoughts from the thread and I appreciate it.  I don't care what

anyone says about this thread you guys are the best.  :grouphug:

You can use the last robot testing area on the second to last planet for farming and it flies by pretty quick if you don't want to start another round. It's also good for bolts/upgrade material.
