PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Jay: Hey, I'll make you a deal - this guy [points to Silent Bob] will suck your dick off if you let us go.
Security Guard Gordon: Contrary to what you believe, not everyone in Hollywood is a homosexual.
Jay: How about this deal- he'll suck my dick while you watch and jerk off.
Security Guard Gordon: Alright.
[takes Jay and Silent Bob behind a wall, out of sight]
Security Guard Gordon: Make it fast and sexy.
Jay: [to Silent Bob] It's either this or jail. And you know what they do to you in jail.
Security Guard Gordon: I was a guard. Alright, and after it's all over, you say "Ooh, what a lovely tea party".

If you want a near-guarantee of how to earn $10, pre-order Mighty No. 9! and then complain to PSN chat when it goes on sale before it even releases.

Am I the only one surprised that none of he articles talking about the changes at ESPN bring up the fact that Randy Moss is once again being brought in to replace Cris Carter?

Honestly, I liked Cris Carter on ESPN.  He is the main one leaving that I wish stayed around.  Ray Lewis was awful and only seemed to be able to try and do the religious-like pep talk nonsense.  Keyshawn was pretty terrible too.  Ditka was OK when he could stay awake.  Too bad Berman is not going away too.

I liked Randy even though I admittedly did not see him that much on Fox.  I always liked Hasselbeck and Woodson in interviews so hopefully they work out well.

I havent been following much. I knew Tirico was leaving, which is the suckiest of the suck. He and Gruden are great on MNF. I hate Ray Lewis too even though he is from Lakeland (he helped murder someone here in Tampa I am convinced of that) so its nice to see him gone.

I know one of the talking heads in the morning is leaving to make more money elsewhere. Is ESPN just letting go of the overpriced guys to save money for Disney?

Randy Moss is surprisingly good from the little I have seen of him. He is much more intelligent than his younger self would have led you to believe. He speaks well about the game and gives pretty good insights. He is also easy to understand which isnt the case with Ray Lewis.

Dogma, Clerks, and Mallrats are top movies for me, in that order.  I haven't seen J&SB Strike Back enough, but I need to change that.  And Chasing Amy was good for what it was, even though a bit of a departure.  I really need to see some of his more recent stuff.

You actually like Gruden? You might be the first person I've heard say that.

Yeah most people I know like him. Maybe cause I am in Tampa and he is from here and brought us a super bowl, but he is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Over the top yes, but thats what TV is all about. He gets paid big bucks because more people watch with him on there. Love him or hate him.

Tyler did the Vita version of Mop show up free?
Not on the webstore as of now. Still wants me to pay for the PS Vita version. The PS4 version says I can't buy it cuz I already own a different version of it.

When they do post-launch crossbuy they always seem to upload new game files even for the previously released versions. That is probably what happened, they just forgot to include crossbuy or haven't activated it yet.

Yes, you are the only one. Are all of these articles you're talking about on the EU playstation blog? Because I haven't seen any of them.

Tirico is very good but so is Sean McDonough. I just wonder if he will work as well with Gruden. Then again I originally thought that was a pretty odd couple, so what do I know.

One of the two loudmouths from that "debate" show is leaving for Fox, yeah. Just like Cowherd leaving a while back, that is an addition by subtraction, IMO. Hopefully they get rid of the other one too.

You actually like Gruden? You might be the first person I've heard say that.
I think Gruden is funny. I also liked Dennis Miller on there though so I realize I am not the norm.

You are the only person I have seen have a generally favorable view of Chasing Amy besides me. Did you like a girl in college that you later found out was a lesbian too?

Chasing Amy is probably his most well regarded film by critics. It just doesn't really vibe with his audience at all, (myself included) who would rather just see Jay say stupid shit like "hey baby every had your asshole licked by a fat man in an overcoat?"

Zimm's word, departure, was really a good way to describe it.

Love Mallrats and Clerks, Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob are great too. Love the scene in clerks when the mom comes in to rent happy scrappy hero pup and Randal is ordering all the porn movies, classic.

I did not. It just came out at the right point for me while I was in college and had just discovered Clerks and Mallrats. There were some genuinely funny moments in it and dilemmas. Well written and well acted.

Wait did you like a girl in college that turned out to be a lesbian?

"This guy...let me tell you 'bout this guy right here." After every fucking play.

Yes, it is definitely different from all his other movies. It still had its funny moments but was definitely more of a drama than a comedy.

ETA: I jut looked it up on metacritic. I do not think I have ever seen a 0 for a score on there before but it has one. A 71 overall probably is higher than a lot of his other stuff. I kind of expected Dogma would be higher (68).

I am not sure if turned out is the right wording, but I had a thing for a friend of a friend that I later found out was a lesbian, yeah. Almost at the exact time that movie came out actually.

Jesus Christ can you have your phone on speaker any louder?  And why the fuck are you listening to a town hall when your leaving the company in a couple weeks?  fuck

That review is weird and really short. Starts like this:

"Whatever Miramax was hoping for when it decided to bankroll films by Kevin Smith, it surely wasn’t "Chasing Amy," the awful third installment of his "two guys hanging out" trilogy, begun with the over-praised "Clerks," and followed by the ludicrously bad "Mallrats."

Sounds like the movie never had a chance to be good in his eyes.

I loved all those Kevin Smith movies up til clerks 2 wasn't that good. Haven't seen any after that if there were any. I was able to put mallrats on munkflix, but not sure if any of the other movies come with UV.

Sounds like a guy who is angry about unrequited love for a lesbian.

Speaking of NFS I may jump on The Crew Wild Run Edition for $17.99 on the ubi sale.   Its a poor mans need for speed but I have a racing itch I need to scratch I think.

Zack and Miri was the last Kevin Smith film I really enjoyed.  Don't remember if that was before or after Clerks 2 but I wasn't into that one. I watched Tusk and it was pretty weak. Dude just doesn't have any business making a horror movie (or whatever that was supposed to be). Dogma might be my favorite of his. It feels more like an actual movie instead of string of dirty jokes like some of them end up being in retrospect.

They're actually supposed to be filming that Mallrats sequel at some mall not too far from me. I heard him on a local radio station talking about it.

Hate to break up the Kevin Smith talk, but I actually am eating Arby's.

So who all is leaving ESPN? I knew about Skip and Tirico, but that's it.
