I've heard Web of Shadows is decent, I picked it up fairly cheap in the last Hastings sale to give it a try and I am just now realizing that it doesn't have trophies. Oh well, that will make it go faster as I won't have to worry about collectibles. You don't like Shattered Dimensions? I've never really heard anything bad about it.
I found a note on my car. It said, in-effect, "How about stopping at the mothering stop sign next time? You cut me off. You're a menace!"
The only thing I can think they were talking about was a 4-way stop at work. I pulled up to that and slowed to a crawl and nobody else was moving. To avoid deadlock I then just went. Anyway, it's cool to be called a menace, right?
What kind of nut job finds your car and takes the time out of their shitty existence to write you a note like that?
How many minutes did it take you to realize that?I played that puzzle game Minutes tonight. It is pretty mediocre.
I thought Web of Shadows was trash. Hated that game.I've heard Web of Shadows is decent, I picked it up fairly cheap in the last Hastings sale to give it a try and I am just now realizing that it doesn't have trophies. Bums already leap-frogged me again, and at this rate you'll go flying past me like that asshole Zimm did. That puts me within striking distance of Backlog and Bums.
yeah, I usually only have a little caffeine in the mornings, maybe a little in the form of a soda at lunch. Problem with changing my diet is I'm trying to put on weight.Great way to wake up IMO. Might also want to look at your diet for sleepiness. Caffeine, etc.. When I have a carby diet I tend to feel a lot more lethargic and sleepy in general.
Thanks for the (as always) detailed review and tips--the Vita version is my next physical game to start on Vita and I appreciate the pointers.
That sucks. He was such a great villain in Die Hard.Alan Rickman died of cancer.

MS3 is only hard on the easiest difficulty if you're not paying attention. I suggest spamming the Save option (you probably noticed, but you only have the one save slot) so you can Load if you're dying too much in a given section.Metal Slug 3 is still hard even on the easiest setting with 99 lives. I didnt track my lives at all and I am in the last mission but it doesnt look like I can finish it without using all my lives. the level keeps going and going and going. I may just need to restart. I killed the big brain thing with 3 lives left and it still went on for a while. Anyone know when the end is going to come? Ill look for a video later.
I guess you were spamming save and load a lot otherwise there is no way to only lose 7 lives in the first 4 missions. Yeah I was being lax but it still isnt easy. Especially due to the old school controls. I just need to suck it up and start over it isnt that long and I can abuse save/load this time.MS3 is only hard on the easiest difficulty if you're not paying attention. That said, the final level is definitely the hardest--I lost close to 20 lives on that level alone when I had lost maybe 5-7 lives across the first four levels.
I spammed those to go for the Route Master trophy and I guess I learned the routes in the process.I guess you were spamming save and load a lot otherwise there is no way to only lose 7 lives in the first 4 missions. Just accept the fact that vig is better at games than you.I guess you were spamming save and load a lot otherwise there is no way to only lose 7 lives in the first 4 missions. I told you.BTW, I went back to Walmart last night. The woman I talked to the day before yesterday who said they wouldn't match Amazon was just a dumbass. Last night a little old decrepit woman was there instead and she knew exactly what the policy was, why it was "Shipped and Sold by Amazon" as a requirement, and got me the PM for Handsome Collection. Now I just need to finish up DA:I. Damn it's a long game.
Nope.Does GCU work for stuff like season passes?
Asking cause will eventually need the fallout 4 pass and it shows up as in store only on bby website.
GAme has a HUGE prompt telling you you're about to piss one or the other off.FO4 peeps who platted it: Based on PST.org's trophy guide, it looks like I can play the missions for Brotherhood of Steel through "Blind Betrayal" before I need to worry about turning any other faction hostile. So if I want to play each faction (other than Minutemen) up to their respective point-of-no-return, is this correct?
Institute: Mankind Redefined
Brotherhood of Steel: Blind Betrayal
Railroad: Underground Undercover (up to objective "Continue Working with Father")
I just watched Die Hard for the first time two weeks ago. I stand by my claim that nearly all movies made in the 80s are garbage.
I know, but since the list for BoS doesn't mention a faction turning hostile until after "Blind Betrayal", I wasn't sure if I could first do all of those missions before saving-then-finishing each faction's missions.GAme has a HUGE prompt telling you you're about to piss one or the other off.
Been a while since I did it, but as long as you make a save before that point and come back to that save later, you're good.
I did the institute first, then the railroad, then brotherhood I think.
actually, just literally follow that guide and save where it says save, hard to mess up following it.
Also in Robin Hood and Quigley Down Under. That sucks. He was such a great villain in Die Hard.
go by the guide, do institute first, brotherhood, then go back and do railroad.I know, but since the list for BoS doesn't mention a faction turning hostile until after "Blind Betrayal", I wasn't sure if I could first do all of those missions before saving-then-finishing each faction's missions.
yeah, I didn't make it in 99 lives my first time but the second time through I had probably a dozen to spare without spamming saves. the end is obscenely long - probably twice as long as the rest of the game put together. ignore vig, he's a robot. nobody but an automaton loses only 20 lives in that last level, especially the first time they play it.Metal Slug 3 is still hard even on the easiest setting with 99 lives. But there's just so many Brotherhood missions compared to the other two...go by the guide, do institute first, brotherhood, then go back and do railroad.
Just requires the two saves, one to get you back to brotherhood and another to get back to railroad.
Will take a few hours to do it all fyi.
.....I just watched Die Hard for the first time two weeks ago. I stand by my claim that nearly all movies made in the 80s are garbage.
None of them are great, brotherhood is what ending I went back to after doing railroad. But there's just so many Brotherhood missions compared to the other two...
Fine, I'll do it. Which ending did you like best (without spoilers, obviously)?
Nearly all movies made ever are garbage but the 80s has more movies I'd consider classics than probably any other decade. Die Hard is certainly one of those classics and is still the best Christmas movie IMO......
.....
nearly all movies except Die Hard?
Would never have thought you felt that way...Nearly all movies made ever are garbage
Don't get me wrong, there are tons of great movies every year, but you can't deny that there's a huge industry of garbage movies and made-for-tv stuff.Would never have thought you felt that way...
consistency is really important if you're having trouble feeling sleepy - going to bed near the same time and getting up at the same time every day (i.e. no sleeping in on the weekends) makes a big difference. if you find that you're still off kilter after fixing that, try shooting for 6 hours of sleep instead of more - some fancy scientists believe that rem sleep cycles run in 3 hour spans so you'll generally feel better rested when you wake up even after sleeping just 3 hours than you would if you had 7 (but of course you'll crash in the middle of the day on 3 hours of sleep). the 3 hour thing isn't timed to the minute so 6.5 shouldn't be that far off, you just don't want to get interrupted by an alarm in the middle of a cycle.I've been doing a little research on sleep patterns and such because I feel like I'm entirely too sleepy and groggy as a 25 year old who gets 6.5-7 hours of sleep per night. I usually stay up late on Fridays and Saturdays to get a little gaming time in, but based on what I've read I think I'm gonna try to go to bed the same time every night and just get that same gaming time, but in the mornings on the weekends instead of late at night and see if that improves things for me. It's a worth a shot I think.
