Had a great trip to NYC. I'd lose a lot of weight if I lived there. Too bad it's so expensive. Nothing a powerball jackpot can't fix, though.

Starting the update probably as psprices flagged some new deals like Mad Max and WWE 16 which run for a week starting today.

Pretty much, though the anime doesn't show all of the endings, instead just following the true ending route.

It's one of my all-time favorite anime series, but some fans think the first half is a bit too slow-paced (I enjoyed it anyway).

I went through a period like that last year. Might not be the same case with you, but life got to me and eventually I felt like things I used to enjoy weren't even worth doing anymore. Hang in there Top.

Or maybe it has nothing to do with life at all and you just don't wanna play games. In which case nvm.

Speaking of anime, they are doing a new Berserk animated series which covers portions of the manga not covered in the two previous animated adaptations. It was apparently announced about a month ago but I just now heard about it.

The original anime was great when it first came out, then I read the manga which is tons better. Unfortunately it's very slow and has been running for like 50 years now so I can't really maintain interest any more. Once it's over (if ever) I'm sure I'll go back to it.

 
Fall Out Boy live set added to this week's premium shows on GH Live according to the PSN Events page. Good songs, but I guess not great guitar songs with the exception of maybe Uma Thurman. Also, managed to finally win a fucking highway from the AAA Metal premium show. Usually when I play the premium shows you can run over the AI no problem when the top prize is a coin/status boost but when the prize is a highway it's like the AI is playing on expert with max upgrades and even getting a full combo on the song won't get close to their score.

Ended up passing on DA:I from last weeks sale. Looks like the regular version of the game is $20 pre-GCU at best buy anyway. 

 
I forgot to buy GTA Trilogy. Oh well. Probably shouldn't be spending money anyway. Here's to the next GTA Trilogy sale which will hopefully make you regret your recent purchase.

I always appreciated Bowie even if I wasn't the biggest fan out there buying every album, cd or video. I liked ZiggyStardust...but I also liked Lets Dance and China Girl too. I never really got into the whole red hair androgynous thing though. And despite the fact that I haven't listened to much of his music in the last decade or more, I really like Lazarus and Black Star. I'm pretty sure that the comments regarding deceased musicians is aimed at the facebook, twitter and in my case youtube reaction.

I've spent way too much lately though. Gotta prepare for the baby. Oddworld has to get cheaper eventually, and I don't really need that Batman game I guess. Still kinda considering LEGO Batman though since my kid doesn't really have anything to play after Superchargers.

 
I didn't like the Black Star album. The title song is OK, and lazarus is good, the rest is iffy. Some people are calling it a masterpiece, but I'm not seeing it. I'll probably give it another try some time, though. But I did go back and listen to Ziggy Stardust and that is a fantastic album.
