At an old theater to watch Spinal Tap and the band that played before the movie brought out a Stonehenge monument for the last song.

That reminds me I need to remember to get a ticket for The Maltese Falcon next month when it's briefly in theaters.

Other movies seeing brief re-releases this year through TCM
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid will ride a bicycle with Katharine Ross on Jan. 17 and 20
The Maltese Falcon, the classic starring Humphrey Bogart will celebrate 75 years on Feb. 21 and 24
The Ten Commandments, wouldn’t be Easter time without it, on March 20 and 23
On the Waterfront, the greatest movie about dock workers ever, on April 24 and 27
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, you may have heard of it, on May 15 and 18
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory goes to a world of pure imagination on June 26 and 29
Planet of the Apes on July 24 and 27 (arrive early; it’ll be a MAD HOUSE!!!)
The King and I, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, on Aug. 28 and 31
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb drops the bomb on Sept. 18 and 21
The Shining plays with us on Oct. 23 and 26
Breakfast at Tiffany’s (I said, I think I remember the film) on Nov. 27 and 30
From Here to Eternity crashes waves on Dec. 11 and 14

I'm likely to go see Ferris, Wonka, Dr Strangelove, and The Shining

Same shit happened to me when I tried to claim it. Like you said fuck that.
I don't have a valid card attached to my account and it wouldn't let me get it off the web store. I turned my 360 on for the first time in over a year and it allowed me to download it right off the console store though.

Sold my 360 a couple years ago. Figured I would have it in my backlog for when I get a XBox One.

Spoiler'd because huge. No really though.

You gotta believe!

I wear a lot of gaming/nerd related shirts. Sure, people give me some weird looks, but I don't care what anyone else thinks of me. The random high five from a stranger who thinks they are cool is pretty awesome though.
At PSX this year I wore my Tearaway shirt. At the DoubleFine booth some guy was talking to one of the devs and then stopped when he saw the shirt. He said "Thank you for wearing that shirt. I designed it." I thought that was pretty cool. I usually wear gaming shirts at conventions and as pajama shirts.

I've never had any gaming pants but yesterday I bought the Vault 111 and Batman pants from GameStop.

Oh and I fired up Kung Fu Rabbit last night since I've been working on Rogue all month and want to at least finish 2 different games this month. That game really loads the trophies on you in the beginning. Got 9 of them in like 45 minutes.
It only takes about 2-3 hours to get all the trophies depending on how many carrots you want to collect. For hardcore you can unlock the last hub with 50 I think and just beat the 20 levels for the trophy. You don't have to replay the full 60 levels.

What Happen to your arms fireworks accident :whistle2:k
What happened to his legs? Shark attack?

I have a few gaming t-shirts and have no problem wearing them around the house or just going out running errands and stuff.  I also have Mass Effect, Skyrim, and Dragon Age hoodies I will wear out sometimes.

PS4:

Gemini: Heroes Reborn

Lego Marvel Avengers

This War of Mine: The Little Ones (1/29)

The Witness

PS3:

Lego Marvel Avengers

PS Vita:

Lego Marvel Avengers

It's nice to see that Amazon lied about automatically discounting existing preorders 20%.
I think it's less a lie and more that they don't know what they're doing.

I'm afraid to have them touch my Zero Escape 3 preorder. It's easier to let it ship and then ask for money later. Or it might even adjust itself when it ships. Who knows?

Anything else I have preordered there I only preordered because it was available at a lower than GCU glitch price.

Oh snap, this made me look up my local AFI theater that is always running sweet old stuff. They're apparently going to be showing Citizen Kane in February.

I found this on their page about how the Prime 20% off works.  http://z-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/vg/varia/finalized-frequentlyaskedquestions-v2.html

5.The game is already discounted, do I still get 20% off at checkout?
Yes, Prime members get at least 20% off list price on new physical video games during pre-order and two weeks after launch.  If the game is discounted less than 20%, Prime members get the full 20% off at checkout.  If the game is already discounted more than 20%, Prime customers get the lower price.

So there won't be any additional discounts on those price glitched games unless the MSRP drops.  Booooooo!

Legends of Tomorrow was kinda meh, but I'll reserve judgment until after the pilot (it's a 2 parter) and they have all the exposition out of the way. The 100 back for S3 and still great.

Lego Marvel on the Vita was fine.  It was a dumb direction to go in with the challenges but it's not like they were hard.

I'm kinda drunk for the first time in awhile. Yay for Spinal Tap? And yay for high ABV local brews. And yay for other things? Yeah.

Owl and I both had no issues whatsoever getting $8 back on our Zero Escape 3 preorders.

Just finished up the plat for STFU, was a really fun game.  Challenging at times, but once I got a good sense of the different characters and their abilities, it wasn't that bad.  The hardcore run through was way easier than i thought it would be.  Thanks in large part to
Da Vinci, he's an absolute beast, especially for bosses.

Conceptually it reminded me a lot of this browser game that I play every now and then.  http://www.freeworldgroup.com/games8/gameindex/cursor10session2.htm

The final few trophies should bump me ahead of Therm on TT.  The next great thread rivalry....jk.  Now it's time to play some Destiny while I decide what to start next.

Xcom Plus on Vita is the best news I've heard in a while. Played the shit out of the 360 version but never got around to the Enemy Within xpansion. Was going to pass with Xcom 2 right around the corner but I'm sure as hell playing it now.

I'm really surprised that they're releasing it without Enemy Within at this point. I played Enemy Within on PC and the changes integrate so well into EU that I think I'd have trouble playing the original now. I'm still considering picking it up, but it's iffy and based very much on price and performance of the port.

Really? Shit, that'll save a good amount of time. The trophy guide didn't mention that.

This makes it seem like you can complete the first two worlds, buy the third at the dojo, and switch to hardcore mode and get the grand dragon and back with a vengeance trophies at once. I don't think that's right though:

By finishing the first 2 worlds you unlock the Hardcore Mode. This mode adds more enemies making the normal levels harder. You can unlock the third world right away by selecting it in the dojo and confirming you want to spend 50 carrots on unlocking it. This will make your life considerable easier, because in order to unlock the trophy you only need to complete the third world in Hardcore Mode!

Can anyone confirm?

Depending on how long sequence 6 is, I should have Rogue and Kung Fu Rabbit finished up this weekend. I'll probably play Limbo after that and maybe one other really short game if I have time before the month is up.

No, that's right. You don't need to complete all of the third world.

No, that's right. You don't need to complete all of the third world.
So I'll basically only have to play 40 levels on normal and the last 20 levels on hardcore as opposed to 60 on normal and 20 on hardcore. Cool.

Plus the secret levels on normal too of course.
