PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

I'm only halfway through the crowns on hot shots golf ps3 and I already want to murder things with my bare hands.  the very last platinum crown is crazy irritating - you have to use a different shot gauge that's pretty hard to use, you can't use any spin, it's on the toughest non-dlc course, and easy mode doesn't work for some reason (there's always some wang that's like 4 under at the end).  plus it's all 18 holes.  I think the best I've done so far is +10 (15th place) but even when I can use spin my best on that course is usually -1/-2.  most of the others are semi-luck based (get a rising shot and win, 100% fairway rate, 50% impact rate, etc) that I'll get through with just plain ol replaying.

Started SteinsGate this weekend. Interesting so far, but also I fell asleep on it twice lol. If they ever explained the controls or save system, I must have missed it because I spent 2-3 hours on the bus slowly tapping X wishing I knew how to save so I could play something that'd keep me awake better lol.

I don't think visual novels are for me. Even when I'm interested in the story I still get sleepy. Still gonna try to finish this and DanganRonpa 2, but I think I'm done with the genre after those.

One of the fundamental aspects of visual novels is that you can save the game at any time.

Another dumb Verizon policy or something.

I dropped off some equipment at THEIR STORE on January 21.  I then get a call over a week later saying I didnt return something yet.  I get on their chat and ask why I got that call and I am told that they "havent received it in inventory yet, once we do, you will get credit from the day of your return".  Da Fuq?  How does that make sense? I returned the item to YOUR store.  YOU HAVE IT.  I got a email receipt FROM YOU saying I dropped it off at YOUR STORE.  How?  What? I am dumbfounded.

Yeah I will get credit sometime later, but why do I have to wait and worry about it if WE ALL KNOW YOU ALREADY HAVE THE EQUIPMENT?!!

They learned that trick by watching Comcast. They keep giving me notices in the mail and via email about swapping out my modem which is a rental. I have one in my possession I own that I could swap it out for to avoid the rental (since I work for the company that makes the modems again) but I keep putting it off because they have such a terrible reputation of trying to say you didnt return something.

OR trying to bill you for your own fucking modem.

Used my own cable modem and they tried to bill me for a rental, was a fun phone call for sure.

I fucking hate comcrap.

In this case I have an email receipt and they know I know they have it. I just think it might be something with holding costs in inventory and/or "float" where they are going to take as long as possible to credit people back because it will allow them to show higher income for a longer period of time. Basically they are playing the old check float scheme but with inventory and billing.

My TT leaderboard for January.

And that one guy from minnesota vikings, running back, he does commentary on espn, name eludes me. He retired pretty early too and was solid if not great.
Robert Smith.

Good player, but obviously less impactful since you can't remember his name even though he's still on TV in the public eye.

If you don't need one this moment I'm probably gonna be looking to sell mine in a few weeks once I run through Killzone Mercenaries. I've realized I just don't have the gaming time for it and when I do have time I'd rather play on my PS4. It's a Slim model less than a year old.
alright, just pm me with details when you're ready. Can't promise I'll buy it but I should be recovered from the holidays and time I took off work by then.

Robert Smith. He was pretty great. Could have been a HoFer if he played longer and for a better team. He killed the Bucs thats for sure. But then again who hasnt?

You going to give him the jkam special price?

50 degrees on the first day of February. I fucking love global warming if that's what's causing this. I'm going good to go run my car in the driveway to help out.

Amplitude question. There's one song that unlocks if you score well in the campaign. I guess I didn't score well enough. I assume I have to reset the campaign and start over (which is fine), but do we know exactly what the requirements are for unlocking that last campaign unlock song? Also can you get it by play the campaign on easy, or do you have to play at a higher difficulty to score well enough?

He is also rarely on the big ESPN channels. I see him on ESPN 8 (The Ocho) sometimes.
Think he is on the epsnu, does college stuff mostly I think.

That was a great joke from that dodgeball movie, but you could say they are now pretty close to 8 channels.

He is on college football shows a lot. I am not really sure why they have him as part of the college analyst group. That is usually for people that never did anything in the pros and/or won a Heisman in college. Tebow checked all the boxes.

for anyone starting ni no kuni today, be advised that trophies are apparently not affected if you change the difficulty to easy in the game options after you start.  I'm definitely playing on easy, I'm not looking to be challenged.  especially since there's a glut of random encounters in the beginning.  so far I think I got past the second big boss and I'm enjoying it, but there is a ton of walking.  after playing ffx it's nice to see such a variety in enemies so early in the game.

Ribert Smith is on college football shows, yes, but never on the major ones like Gameday. Just the shitty, no one cares shows on ESPNU.   Like where they talk about HS recruits and shit.  Seriously no one cares!

https://fiber.google.com/cities/tampa/

Good news for you wren, if they do come there.
Yeah i heard about this a while ago. It should happen. Tampa is going to explode at some point. Vinik, the owner of the Lightning is revitalizing downtown and the water front. He is a master business man and is bringing more big businesses in. Its the talk of the town really. If he can somehow get the cities to come together to move the Rays to Tampa we would be set.

I considered changing to easy on the mouse boss, but then I figured out just to run around until he hurts himself and fire off a spell. The monsters after the second forest were pretty challenging though, but I want to see how long I can keep it on normal for now.

Speaking of the Rays, they fascinate me. I'd love to see what they could do with a little more money to work with.

There isn't any downside at all? Experience or money gains aren't affected?

I love tampa and that area, went to clearwater twice on vacation and hung out a little in tampa. Went to the sec tournament a few years back there too.

Went to a rays games on both vacations, was great, pay for cheap ticket and can pretty much sit anywhere as no one was there. I think the second time was even the year they made the playoffs.
