PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Damn, if I would have known that I would have just gone ahead and sold helldivers to gamestop on Sunday. Oh well.
Yeah, I should have as well but I got lazy about it and don't like giving Gamestop any business anyways. TIV is still $12, though.

If you have a friend who wants to play it with the DLC then the disc alone is enough to have access to all but 2 of the DLC for the PS4 version. Don't need the voucher code for the PS4 DLC.

Are any of the weapons packs worth getting? All three are $0.89 each, but the bundle containing the same three sets is $1.49.

I already own the Teeth of Naros and Legend of Dead Kel add-ons.
Yeah don't buy that weapon shit. Dead Kel was great, never played Teeth of Naros unfortunately.

UAV is the other DLC that doesn't have a substitute (although someone always seems to bring one for sample hunting so I never use it).

Nice of them to throw in a couple of free DLCs with the PS+ release. (Ranger pack was previously only free if you bought the game in the first couple weeks)
I only see Ranger Pack as purchased and nothing else as free. What's the other free DLC?

One Piece Unlimited World Red doesn't look too bad for $5 on Vita, not my cup of tea character wise but as a beat em up it looks pretty decent for $5. I didn't realize it had a story mode...always thought those games were fighting games for some reason.
It's sort of like a Dynasty Warriors game where you just beat up random mooks endlessly until you find a boss. The combat is pretty button mashy combined by the fact you have to wait for the enemies to stand back up to attack when they're knocked down.

It has a whole lot of item/collectible grinding as well. Decent story though.

Geez, so few of you guys played Mass Effect 3? Or did you play the series on PC/Xbox?

In any case, we should get some people together for co-op.
Multiple playthroughs on 360, but I did get the trilogy on PS3 during one of its other sales. Definitely in for some co-op action at least.

Last night I found out I hadn't actually updated my Vita-2000 yet. I had to update to be able to play LBP:V so I did it. And of course I checked my Vita just now and it's dead. When I stopped last night it had 50% charge. I hope they get the fix out ASAP. In mean time I guess I'll leave the Vita home and charging all the time.

Hmm...do I cancel for the discount but risk not getting the metal case, or keep my original preorder and hope the discount auto-applies...?
The description on this one also mentions the metal case. I double checked before ordering.

FREE BONUS - SQUAD 7 ARMORED CASE LAUNCH COPIES COME PACKAGED IN THE META QUAD 7 ARMORED CASE VALKYRIA CHRONICLES REMASTERED BRINGS THE WORLD WAR II-INSPI RED STORY, THE BELOVED CHARACTERS, AND THE MYTHOLOGY OF THE VAL KYRUR TO LIFE. THE STUNNING, PAINTERLY GRAPHICS RETURN, BUT THIS

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth released today, but I haven't seen any reviews for it. That's always a good sign...

I was going to ask about the weapon/armor shit too. So is good weapons and armor pretty abundant in the game, making this worthless? I'll probably get the other 2 dlc as I've been meaning to start this game thanks to Stotch playing it and reminding me I had the game. Katamari I'll probably grab as well.

Hmmm, the Dynasty Warriors reference isn't selling it for me but I guess I'll mull it over some...think it's worth the $5?

Isn't it the same thing as the Japanese version that released a while ago? The only update should be if the PS4 version upscaled properly or if the translation sucked. Smaller site reviews should be okay to figure that out.

It looks like I have a few giftable Steam keys in my Humble Bundle Library that I don't need...would anyone be interested in any of the following?

Bionic Commando: Rearmed

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified

Dust: An Elysian Tail

EDIT: Looks like I still also have a PB Winterbottom in my actual Steam account to give away.

You can craft really overpowered shit. I remember they're being a really cool hammer you can earn in Dead Kel too, if you like using hammers.

Looks like the store is pretty much updated, but I'm still not seeing Letter Quest Remastered. If it doesn't show up, this will be the 2nd time its missed its release date.

Yeah, those are what I wanted to know about, but I haven't found any reviews anywhere yet aside from Amazon customer "reviews".

I think the weapon and armor dlc packs were bugged and didn't work unless you had the disk copy. Also all of that stuff is level locked to when you download it not the level you are when you grab it from the chest. Avoid.

So if I don't buy the Digimon Story this week I miss out on the DLC? Which is what, exactly?

And also, can you still trade in items at gamestop for PSN cards?

I have a few PS3 games (and Vita) that I could trade in for cash. (Which probably wouldn't amount to $10 if even that)

http://www.digimonworld.org/2016/01/a-cover-to-cover-review-of-digimon.html

Lengthy review, and I didn't bother reading it all, but it does have a section going over the translation. I think they played on vita though, I didn't see any mention of the PS4 version, but I may have missed it.
Wow. I wish I didn't have so many other games to play because that review almost makes me want to buy a copy right now. Thanks for the link.

This is how they approached the PS4 vs. Vita question:

The question has been asked many times before as to whether Sleuth is better experienced on the PlayStation 4 or on its native handheld, the PlayStation Vita. I first experienced Sleuth on the PlayStation TV, an experience which I expect the PS4 version of it to mirror. After a few hours I couldn't stand playing it on the system, and eventually I bought a Vita for the game, a purchase which I do not regret. Cyber Sleuth was made for and is best experienced on a handheld, making the Vita version of the game the definitive one.
I really wish Bandai-Namco had released a physical Vita version.

Geez what a terrible sale. First time in weeks I won't buy anything. And really didn't even think about buying anything.

BTW anyone who hasn't bought it yet needs to get most wanted.

And yes, you can trade in for PSN cards.

I think the dlc digimon have special stats or something, but I'm not sure what I haven't read too much on it.

That was odd. I was multi-quoting in another thread and somehow old posts of derek and mpaullin were added in addition to the posts I actually quoted. Definitely weren't there prior.

I would delete those creepy snakey quotes in your sig. I'm pretty sure that's the cause of it.

For some reason I have no desire to play this on a handheld. Maybe I just miss my glory days with every RPG on the big screen, but I probably wouldn't have touched it had it been Vita exclusive. There are just way too many on there already. I would have bought it of course, but playing it is a different story.

I'm likely all in for the Mass Effect DLC. I own everything on the 360 but have been waiting to do the same on PS3 for what seems like forever. Only owned one piece that I caught on a sale ages ago.
