Yeah I was a bit confused by the DW reference to Unlimited World Red. I've not played it yet (has anybody but Vig?) but from gameplay vids it seems more like a hub-world deal with plenty of exploration and quests and fighting with team members and collectibles and such.

Pancakes was right about something for once. The single player campaign for ghosts is really awesome. Much better than advanced warfare and black ops 3.

2 Player splitscreen on PS3, ad-hoc 2 player on vita, no online, shared trophy list, but not crossbuy.

Yeah I liked it quite a bit as well. Some of the trophies for specific actions are a bit annoying, like the one in the second-to-last level, but overall it was good. Fighting in space was fun, too. Hoping Ghosts 2 hits this year.

Someone in Frisky's thread said it was up on Steam with 10% launch discount. Maybe we'll get the same. I've only heard of the game a few weeks ago. I'm guessing it is another one of those story focused games that are over in a few hours. The $20 price point stings on titles like that, though I guess when you figure people pay the same amount to own a movie it's not that bad. I'm more likely to rewatch a movie, though.

Yea I thought the sp on ghosts was pretty good, still need to go back and get a couple more level trophies and like 1 file i missed.

 
Definitely not understanding the Firewatch hype one bit. But then again you guys never understand why I'm always hyped for the actual awesome games that come out  either.

 
Oh yeah forgot I had Most Wanted Vita for free. May just wait til I get a Vita and play it there. I'm sure there are some differences but oh well.

 
You know when you watch Firewatch and No Man's Sky gameplay back to back they look pretty similar visually. With both coming to PC I wonder if somebody will figure out a way to hijack the world generation mechanic to reproduce worlds from other games. Firewatch would be a good candidate for that, stylistically.

I haven't had any issues using Game Stop credit on Amazon or PSN cards. I know some other CAGs say their GS will not allow Amazon card purchases with Credit but I don't think that applies to PSN cards. I am lucky my local GS don't have these restrictions.

 
I've been thinking about buying Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It's $3.99 this week. I have $4 in my wallet. I think it's a sign.

I'd probably have to clear space on my PS3 since it's over 13GB.

downgraded graphics but the same fun gameplay. Don't listen to gator when he complains about all the collectables. I found it fun even if its frustrating finding the last gate.

Well when I do eventually get a Vita, I'll need something I actually want to play on it. Most Wanted certainly fits the bill.

I didn't mind all the collectibles. I just thought it was ridiculous to have trackers for all of them but 1 especially when that one was the one you were likely to "collect" during the course of normal gameplay.

That final speed run was the most frustrating thing about that game though. I still enjoyed it.

Also I wasn't actively around when whatever happened to get him banned. I don't really care either way honestly, the reference is just lost on me.

yeah it was a terrible design choice or oversight for sure but you complained so much it was pretty funny. Also while the speed run was tough it wasn't that bad. You were being so over the top about it. I got a kick out of it.

The only one I've heard issues for is Amazon gift cards. I occasionally pick up PSN cards on trade ins and I just grabbed a Steam Wallet card for XCOM two days ago after trade.

Even if you were not around when he actually got banned, to not understand a reference about him being a likely sex offender if you were around him at all is pretty shocking. The quote you had in your sig had him sounding like he wanted to jump you and that was an example of tame snakey.

 
Have you been to Snakeys live streams before? I went to one where he was playing Alien Isolation, and I heard this faint creepy ass voice. I eventually figured out it was him talking on the mic.

I know he was off, but he seemed more pathetic than threatening. That first quote was from when we all posted pics, the second and third were just examples of him spelling my name with radical variance every time he mentioned me.

Sig is relevant outside of the thread now too, so that works.

Nah, I don't watch streams very much, I find it boring and would rather be playing. I only watch to get a quick glimpse of a game I might be interested in for a few minutes or to play something like Jackbox.

I do not really care if someone's voice is unusual. That is something you are just born with. The words he typed and his actions were definitely enough to prove he was in fact creepy though.

Unless he was lying, I will give the kid credit for trying to get help. Unless it was all for show, he definitely needed it.

 
Well that's what I ended up doing, cracking open Helldivers, redeeming the code which unlocked the PS3 and vita versions + all the DLC except terrain and precision, getting the PS4+ version which unlocked the terrain specialist pack, leaving me only missing the precision pack (is that something worthwhile?), and then traded it into gamestop for $12. So only $3 + tax out of pocket since I bought it for $15 on Black Friday. #CAGMATH

Really wish I would have thought to do this on Sunday for $6 in extra credit, but oh well.

Only took me a good 2.5 hours to get home from a normal 1 hour total commute.  And I still made it home before the kid because busses hadn't shown up to his school yet.

But the idiot ex thinks its a good idea to go out driving now to visit her boyfriend.
