I went to nebraska furniture mart today (in Kansas). Normally this time of the year they clearance out a bunch of games/special editions/controllers but instead this year they just piled all their games on the shelves next to a scanner and posted a tag that says 'scan these games to find their low prices!' and all their low prices suck.

Turns out Baxter was a guy she went to HS with and is actually super gay and named Scott. She texted a mutual friend who confirmed it was actually him on the show because I guess the fat chick had a casting to hire "fans" for the show.

My faith in regards reality TV has been destroyed.

Bait no longer, I am here to tell tale of the quesalupa from the royal table.

It's good, but it's not going to revolutionize the taco.

It's kind of similar to stuffed crust pizza. The cheese inside of the shell thing is not as melty as you might thing or as the pictures show (just like with stuffed crust). And while stuffed crust solves to problem of people who don't like crust and just throw it away, this doesn't really do anything new and amazing. Since you eat it all at once, it just makes the whole thing cheesier. They could've just put some cheese on the inside of a normal chalupa and it would be the same result. But it does taste good.

Now I want Wendy's to serve a burger that has grilled cheese sandwiches as the buns.

At a survival pinball tournament and first game in playing is Game of Thrones in a group with the dude that won the Game of Thrones tournament last weekend. Yay.
 
I had pretty much given up hope on getting the MLB 15 plat not long after its release. I tried for days to get the last trophy I needed (robbing a home run), using modified rosters, specialized settings, and even auto-fielding, but I never could do it so I was just playing the game for fun.

Yesterday, I started a new franchise with the Phillies to see if I could rebuild them from the current mess they're in . Today I was playing the Mets in Citi Field, Juan Uribe was up, and this happened:

ok deadly tower of monsters is so very good. it's just gotten better the more I've played and I've actually laughed out loud a couple times. It has a little bit of a Cave Johnson sense of humor. Avoid any videos if you're at all interested in this game - half the joy is seeing the weird new monsters that come up and their crappy special effects.
 
So I finally went to see Star Wars this afternoon.  It was good.  It was easily the best since Empire.

I will still give people shit for posting spoilers though in case there are others who haven't.

FINALLY beat Gravity Rush on vita (the story not plat).

Jesus my first trophy was 9th May 2015.. Screw this game and its janky ass controls..

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is so so good as well. Even in single player, its innovative and excellent. Two people control a large ship at the same time, there are tasks like navigating, firing any of the four turrets, using the super blaster weapon, controlling the shield, and viewing the map. 

If you play single player you have an AI partner that you can tell what to do by holding Triangle and giving them a command. In coop its just two people playing the game. Lots of communication involved in coop. It's a shame theres no online in the game, but I can't wait to try it out locally. Its such an awesome game.

On the Wii U there is Affordable Space Adventures which doesn't look as colorful and frantic but does the same couch co-op thing. And actually finds a reason to use the gamepad.

 
All hail king Julian is hilarious. The kid wants to watch it a lot and I watch every second with her. It's based on the lemurs from Madagascar. Highly recommend for kids.
 
Good day today.

Joined the 4K TV club when the 10-year old Sony LCD started showing signs of one foot in the grave earlier in the week. I went with the 55" Sony 4K (non-3D). Set it up this morning, an it is noice! I knew something like that would happen when I bought that 40" Sony at Xmas, but it's still crazy to me that I paid less for both of the new TVs then I did for the LCD. I'll put the LCD out in my shed for as long as it lasts.

Whether or not I game on the new TV tonight depends on if I can stay awake once the kids go to bed. The boy and I were at the ball field all afternoon working a baseball camp. Tryouts are Wednesday so the league had the camp to let all the kids shake the rust off. The boy will be in his first season of kids-pitch so this is when the fun really starts.

Finally, we did make it home in time to see the Gamecocks knock off A&M on the road. That's a solid win after the disappointing loss to UGLY the other night.

Nice. i've been eyeballing the Samsung 55JU7100 for awhile but haven't pulled the trigger. I laugh every time I see the acceptable one on Warehouse Deals and wonder why they would even bother listing it. Started watching Better Call Saul on Netflix and so far it really exceeded my expectations.  Also that Cinnabon chick is super cute, hopefully she's in more than just that snippet in the beginning.  

 
Fire emblem amiibo will add those characters to your fe fates game. Unclear if it was some kind of mission, but it said you have to defeat them in battle afterwards to recruit them.
 
And in the blink of an eye the deadly tower of monsters is finished. I just have a handful of collectibles for the plat. Truly excellent game but it is s-h-o-r-t. Fine by me, but be advised. I think my in game time is around 5-6 hours.
