PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

GameStop has The Order for $10. I'll probably go grab it since with a $4 TIV I'm really only paying $6.

Y'all thought it was worth $6-$10 right? I remember praise for story and fun gameplay and quick plat, and marks off for not much content. Which I don't mind for $6-$10 on disc.
I'm playing it now, despite how short everyone says it is I'm not sure why it got panned so hard. Looks awesome, cool atmosphere, some unique guns. I don't know I think it's pretty cool. Worth $6 :)

I always wanted to visit the twin cities.

LOL yeah right, but maybe I should now. I wont like this beer but Ill try it. Then again i f Gator doesnt like it I might.
I think that brewery is based in Pennsylvania, so you should be able to find it down there. Maybe Stotch knows?

Since the first Tuesday in March is also the first day of the month, I guess we can expect the Plus lineup announcement (Broforce + everything else) next week.

I

How can you not like real watermelon???
dont like real watermelon either. Zimm is the only other person I know that says they dont like watermelon. Everyone makes me feel like an outcast when people are eating it at a picnic or some outdoor event during the summer and I say "no, I dont like watermelon".

It has a very mild flavor and its literally all water so whats the point? Its bad tasting water too. yuck.

I would like to disagree with this, but most of the crap you usually can get at a grocery store probably does fall into this group. It seems like Jubilees are the most common in the south. The good ones are the Crimson Sweet variety.

The hype train at launch really didn't help it out. Maybe if it had launched at $40 or something people wouldn't have panned it as much. Shame though, it was definitely fun.

If you can get your hands on a watermelon that was ripened on the vine and not picked early and ripened on the way to the store, you basically have an entirely different melon. It's really a huge difference. My Dad always grew them growing up. Delicious.

Edit: Gator'd kinda.

Maybe my problem has been crappy watermelons.  But the ones I've tried were mainly water flavored like Wren said.  None of the good watermelon flavor that all the artificial watermelon crap had me believe they taste like.  I'll try a fresher one this summer and report back.

Try one that is more round like a basketball (assuming you can find one). The oblong ones are the Jubilee style ones that are just not as flavorful. I cant imagine they grow very well up there so you likely have a disadvantage of having to have them shipped in from far away.

Yeah you really have to catch them just right for the best results. A little less ripe and they're sour, a little too ripe and they're mushy and overly sweet. If you thump it and it sounds a little too solid, it's not ripe enough.

I've had both good and bad watermelons, and truly good watermelons taste awesome.

I have had "good" watermelon and i still hate it.  its not a big difference.  its just a waste of time.  give me some vodka and mountain dew instead thanks.

also, I am drinking a vodka and mountain dew right now.  so delicious.

No silly, with your finger.

Yellow watermelon is my favorite.
Yeah with your finger, like Kilik said.

Also to agree with kilik further, I have had some very good yellow-meated watermelons.
You're gonna really make me kilik my joke? To kilik even?

also, this is why i dont eat fruit and vegetables too much.  way too much to think about with varieties, freshness, thumping etc.

lunch was also terrible.  good think i have this drink instead.  more satisfying.

You can spike the watermelon with the Vodka. Add in some pills and a stripper or two and I bet you like it.

The Order was okay. The gunplay wasn't that great but the graphics were really pretty and I liked the strong narrative focus. I would have been pretty happy with it overall if not for the absolutely shit ending.

It's funny finally getting around to reading these old issues of Retro magazine from 2014 (the digital versions came with a 2nd year subscription and I am REALLY bored at work) how so many of these featured "upcoming" retro-style games still haven't been released. Hyper Light Drifter, Fenix Rage, Chasm, The Way. Every single game featured as upcoming in this issue hasn't been released.

Hyper Light Drifter had its own article in the latest GameInformer with a "Spring 2016" release date attached, so hopefully that one (which I'm as hyped for as Axiom Verge) releases before summer.

gross, no veggies?

also, arent those terrible Heavy Fire games pretty fun?
Tomatoes and onions in the spag sauce. Fruit and veggies!

Yeah I didn't mind what I played of Heavy Fire last night. It's definitely like a shitty arcade game, but it's not unplayable or broken or anything.
