PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

That DLC screams $10 or less to me, easy pass for now.
Right, its almost that now at $11.99. The higher prices season pass is for that and the others that are releasing later so we dont know what its worth yet in total. If the other two are at least as big it might be worth it to me. If it runs okay and has trophies of course.

Spotted Sierra Nevada Summerfest at the gas station yesterday. I read it's a good beer to introduce people to craft beer, might pick up some for one of my friends that seems open to trying new beers.

Ended up grabbing Torpedo, SN Pale Ale, Summerfest and another Lenie Doppelbock so I can tell Zimm if I actually like it as much as I thought I did the first time.

Streaming pros:

Do y'all do anything besides just hit broadcast on the ol PS4 when you stream?  When I did it last night, I changed the title of my broadcast, but it was still showing the first title I had.  Then when I posted here, the little tag thing still said Star Wars and the twitch page still said I was playing Star Wars.  Eventually it changed over to Uncharted.  But then I went to the archive of the broadcast on Twitch today and it and it had the old title/Star Wars game listed.

And stats seem off for me too on the old videos.

And do y'all use lappy's next to you to reply to comments and whatnot?  I was using my tablet and just went to my stream on the Twitch app, but seems like I'm supposed to use the dashboard maybe?

Just curious on all the workings.  Not planning to turn into some big streamer mega dude man or anything.

I dont know the real reasons, but yes, after changing the title and everything shit still lags to when it changes on the stream. Yes, use a laptop next to me to reply unless speaking into headphones. And yeah the metrics for number of viewers is fuck ed. No idea why or how to fix, nor care. I just use the laptop to see who it says is viewing the stream. That lags sometimes too.

I used to use a laptop on the side. Been using my phone lately. Twitch seems to take a minute, or a couple refreshes after you start, before the title shows properly on your side. Not sure about the archiving stuff cause I don't bother with it.

Yeah, the title change lags a bit when you switch it from the PS4. If you want it to switch over faster, pretty sure the changes update sooner from PC. I play on a dual monitor setup most of the time, so I just open the stream chat from my PC. Tablet makes it a little harder to reply unless you're responding via headset.

I didn't even know there was a dashboard to look at lol.

Thanks, that's all new info to me. I don't stream much and haven't looked into replying to comments. Do you guys generally have the volume on while watching a stream at work? I had my mic on while streaming the last day or two, but it didn't seem like anyone could hear me. They at least didn't type anything when I said "type if you can hear me"

Final thoughts on Disgaea D2:

http://invertedaccess.com/2016/02/18/battling-the-backlog-disgaea-d2-a-brighter-darkness/

Fun game, definitely recommended. Hard to compare to Disgaea 3 since there really isn't that much of a difference between the two.
Floor 1 of an item will be much tougher than floor 100.
Do you have this reversed? I don't remember Disgaea item floors starting high and decreasing as you proceed, but maybe that changed at some point.

Good luck with Agarest War. I've heard it's very tedious.

I generally have audio on while watching at work. Might not be loud enough to hear if something is going on in the office though. You might want to check if your mic is muted specifically for streams though in the settings. From what I remember of your streams, both the camera and mic audio options were showing as muted. Don't know if its just because you didn't have either connected, or if the settings in the system itself had them auto muted. I've been working from home this week, and I don't remember any specific sounds other than rocket league car noises. Didn't seem like you had a mic.

I usually try to have the volume on in case y'all are talking when I'm at work. It's fun to hear wren curse every few seconds.

I think you have to set mic on in the stream settings. At least that's what Wren or somebody told Zimm to do and then we could hear him.

Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers PS4 is getting an English release in Asia.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzKuBKqNRYI

No localized release announced as far as I can tell, but this might be useful if you're interested and open to imports.

Streaming:

Change the name of the stream on twitch from the browser if at all possible. It will update right away and the email alert that gets sent out to followers will actually be right.

For volume, I basically turn down the in game volume for everygame. It's usually a bit too loud, and turning it down a bit let's viewers hear you better.

I use a laptop to view comments just because I hate how much screen real estate you lose if you have them on the screen.

I wish they did more releases with English subs. I don't need English voices in all my games. Especially in Japanese made games, cause the English voices are usually phoned in anyway.

More on streaming volume. Yeah make sure the mic is enabled. If you can pull up the stream somewhere just test it out yourself.

Turning down in game volume is most essential for sound effect heavy games like rocket league and first person shooters. Hearing the car rev and constant gunfire doesn't serve a major purpose imo, I'd much rather be able to hear the host clearly.

Can you comment on Super Blast Deluxe?

So you adjust the in-game volume via the broadcast settings on the PS4 correct? I haven't dived to deep into those besides turning the mic on & off.

And as far as the title updating stuff, I assume you start your stream, then update the title on the web?

Well then:

If I didn't get the PS4 & PS3 versions for cheap on PSN, I'd get the PS4 version.

Change the volume setting in each game's settings menu. Most games have a sliding audio bar for music and sfx.

Change the title of the stream on twitchs website before starting the stream. If you do this you'll notice that the ps4 twitch launch page will automatically update with the new title, it's nice.

Any of you guys watch the Blacklist? The wife and I are up to episode 4 and like it so far.
I watched the first season and part of the 2nd. Megan Boone looks great and I'm a big James Spader fan but the writing just wasn't very good. It started getting too convoluted and stupid for me to watch week after week. I'll probably go back and watch the rest of s2 in a marathon to see if that helps things, then drop it if things aren't better by the end of s2.

OK cool thanks. And thanks to everyone else for the tips too.

Ended up picking up The Order for $10 yesterday and the lady is very interested in watching me play so I was gonna be doing lots of streaming of that. Wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything with the stream stuff.

Man this product manager I have known a long time sits on my new floor in the new building.  wow she got hot.

I love high heels so much.

Solid pickup and a pretty easy plat as well. Can't go wrong at that price point.
