simmias I may have asked you this before but I can't remember. Do you have an alt account for games with closed servers or glitched trophies, or do you just avoid playing shit like that altogether?

In the past I probably wouldn't give a shit, but now I'd probably play it on Xbox or PC or something if I knew it had unobtainables going into it. Uncharted 4 might be my undoing as well depending on their DLC, because there's no way I'm not playing that.

Right now I have too many games that I want to play and not enough time, though.

 
Shovel knight is another game where I'm more than ready for the devs to move on to something new, but they're still working on tons of new content for it for whatever reason...

They probably have completely realistic expectations that they'll never have another success like that again. Easier to just make tiny variations to keep the game alive as long as possible.

Another mysterious decision in a cavalcade of mysterious decisions - you create a 'fighter id' in sf5 that's separate from your psn/steam id (and it actually takes some hoops to find someone by their psn id and the psn id is never displayed otherwise). You can't change it after you pick it. I also noticed today that you can't do some psn functions if you're connected to the sf5 servers - like sync trophies (at least not reliably). It's weird that a game can affect functions outside of the game.

Also, more ffx-2 last mission crap spoilered for lame:

So I think I've finally got a good run going. I'm on floor 27 or so and I have:

- yuna (lvl 12)

- dark knight (lvl 10)

- confuseproof / doomproof accessories (already saved my ass once)

- darktouch accessory (handy!)

- dresssphere setup: dark knight/black mage/white mage/gun mage/mascot

-- 1/2 damage passive from mascot
-- mp stroll passive from the three mages

I also have 4 hidden room folios and some notebooks and am completely maxed on inventory so I have to juggle a lot when I get dressmakers/fusions). I still need to track down a thief ds at some point I guess for that triple tiara. It's a lot of damn work to get setup but I think I'm in good shape now.

I would've probably dropped this whole thing until I realized that the plat was within striking distance - I'm short 5 or 6 monsters in the bestiary. I know it'll take forever to oversoul everything but it seems like a reasonable lunchtime activity. and then trema which will probably suck but people seem to have put a lot of effort in figuring out how to cheese him in the remaster.

your right though, I just wanted to use it. I consider her in my age group. Though 45 would seem too old/close to 50 for me, so I need to do something about this before her next birthday! Ah, who am I kidding, as long as she looks like she does I am ready and willing.

If I had to guess, I'd say they use a fighter ID so that PS4 and PC can (intentionally) play together, but I don't have the game so I don't know if it's actually used that way or not. Like in Rocket League you can play with people on PC, but you can't party up with them. You just get to play them when you're randomly matched up.

Any guy who has never bagged a cougar is missing out. I was 23 and snagged a 45 year old one time. We dated for a couple of months. She had a kid my age. Hot little spanish chick, Terry Gonalez, never forget her name. Older women are fantastic.

I'm thinking about grabbing the Mega Man Legacy Collection with the 20% off code from my PS4.  But I should probably use it on something I haven't played before a shit ton of times.  Or wait for a sale on things I want to buy.  But waiting is hard.

Probably not. Only reason I started it was because I wanted to finish and trade it in by this Saturday for the extra 50% at Best Buy. I played the other two within the last couple years so wasn't in a rush to replay them right away. I know I could trade the collection now and play UC3 on PS3 from the Plus copy, but that huge download is not something I want any part of.

I don't think there's a chance in hell I'll finish it in time, so I'll probably just keep it until the next trade deal pops up. Unless one of you assholes wants to buy it for $30.
