PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Finally done with Life Is Strange. I can't fathom why some people call it their 2015 GotY.
I couldn't even finish the first episode, that shit is beyond wack.

I do want his album though without having to pay tidal to stream it.
It's better than Yeezus but still sucks. I personally wish he would give up rapping at this point and go back to strictly making beats. His content is hilariously bad. And he's a piece of shit.

Is cleaner done streaming already?
I have to figure out how to stream using one monitor on PC. I read directions but my tv will go blank if I open up the El Gato software. I'm not seeing the option to mirror output in Windows 10.

As an alternative I tried installing OBS but it said Windows was missing required software. I downloaded the software it suggested and still got the same message even after restarting.

Next I tried XSplit but the framerate was shit and kept dropping to 15-20 FPS. Steam has its own Broadcast option but you have to watch on PC through their app which is lame.

I'm gonna try streaming a less intensive game or try another software option.

Any tips?

I'm going to get into streaming some games on PC occasionally. If anyone wants to see any particular games here's my list:

http://steamcommunity.com/id/cleaner7/games/?tab=all&sort=name

I only ask because obviously some of these bitches are huge like Just Cause and will need to be installed first.

Right now I have JC3, Kentucky Route Zero, The Novelist, Papers Please, Shovel Knight, This War of Mine and the Vanishing of Ethan Carter installed. Mainly PC exclusives though obviously some of those made their way over to consoles.
Sweet list. Kind of makes me wish I invested a bit into a gaming rig.

Jade Empire

Papers Please

Torchlight

The Stanley Parable

System Shock 2

All the Star Wars (specifically the Jedi Knight and Old Republic series) Surprised you don't own Republic Commando.

Company of Heroes

Who all is getting the division on launch? Just spent a couple hours playing with a friend, and it seems like it'll be awesome in a group. I only played single player for the closed beta, and that was pretty fun too, but the multiplayer seems pretty cool so far. Gonna check out the pvp zone tomorrow.

I'm getting division on PS4. People on Xbox weren't showing enough interest for me. Seems like I'll have a decent amount of people to run with for a while. Probably just gonna pull the trigger on the gold edition, and then wait to use the season pass. If it ends up getting stale, I can still sell the pass later.

I'm using some of my excess Vacation on it as well.

Yup I got it preordered already.

I can only play 9:30-9:45pm central time on Monday and Wednesday. 7pm-8:15pm on Saturday though.

Finished up Castle of Illusion tonight for 5th completed game of the month.  Too lazy to go back and clean up the missing diamonds I have but oh well.  Just as fun as I remember it being on Genesis back in the day.

What in the world are you doing, quit blowing money on ps3 games, you dont need to play those.
You of all people should be happy about that because my completion percentage for it was abysmal on 360. I think I have a whopping 4 achievements for it that weren't directly related to story missions.

S1-3 received legit releases but anything after that are the DVD-Rs which means I'd rather download the episodes myself and burn them, rather than pay for it because you're likely getting the same meh quality in both the burning and episodes.

Amazon increased the FSSS to $49. Jesus.
I wasn't aware season 3 got a legit release, I own seasons 1 and 2 though. It really is still a great show, yet another show that could never be made today. Political correctness would kill it!

I really want Bioware/EA to Remaster Jade Empire and/or KOTOR and was thinking of reinstalling both. Otherwise I have Papers Please, Torchlight, The Stanley Parable and System Shock 2 already installed. Company of Heroes is a larger download so I'll pass for now on that. I'm surprised I don't own Republic Commando either since I know I got the rest in a Star Wars pack. I remember renting/beating that game back on Xbox and enjoying it.

Also downloaded and played Battleblock Theater and Screencheat earlier. Online multiplayer was dead on both unfortunately. SC has bots included and they were kicking my ass since I didn't know the maps.

I've beaten BBT and The Stanley Parable a couple times but they're so funny I don't mind playing them again.

VVVVVV is also a great game. I played it for about 1.5 hours and am probably halfway done. Fun little game.

The kid asked if her character could go in the water.  I said yeah but you die and she replied "well thats stupid".  Yes, yes it is.

On an unrelated note GTA Vice City is mother approved right?

evolve worth the 8 bucks or nah?

Its like a monster hunting game or something right?
Asymmetrical multiplayer monster hunting game, yeah. 4 hunters vs 1 monster. Game ain't bad but it is really hard to get balance right in those. Always seemed like a team of 4 communicating hunters always won and a team of randoms mostly lost. Havent played in a while so I dont know how any patches or new characters changed the balancing.

Streaming installation sounds like a good idea until you have a game that lets you start the first level because you think it finished downloading only to start another 17.5 gigs downloading and the first level is so damn short you will definitely be finished with it before half of that download is even done and you get a wait for download to finish before resuming notice.

Id much rather just wait for one download to be done so I know I can actually play the game when it is finished.

They did this with the new naruto game. Locked you out of story mode completely, but you could play free battle while it installed. I had no idea what was going on at first though because I didn't expect it on the physical copy. Forgot all games install even if you have the disc. Ended up just playing something else while the install was running

Speaking of PC games, at MAGFest we played this coop game called Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. Pretty cool game where one person sees the bomb with various panels that need to be solved and the other, the expert, can't see the screen but has a manual that explains how to solve panels. The defuser needs to describe what he's seeing and the expert has to figure out how to defuse it and explain that to the defuser. Pretty hilarious and fun.

You could play this online - the "expert" needs to print out the defusing manual and then skype or PS4 chat to talk to the defuser, who's running the game.

Battlefront lets you play an intro level that's pretty boring until the game finishes installing, which takes a long time. I'd rather just have a progress bar.

Trying to add some of the cosplay pictures I took at the Wizard World convention yesterday.
Of course CAG won't let me just past the image (you are not allowed to use that extension on this community), and the site's own uploader is broken.

AC Chronicles qualifies for Target's BOGO on select Ubisoft games this week, but their website doesn't have shipping or store-pickup available for either version.
