PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

A bunch of people keep posting that on Neogaf, I don't get why people think that looks great. Screen is way to cluttered to see what you're doing.
explosions robots and also missles. cluttered chaos isn't always bad!

Looking through my Amazon wishlist... has The Evil Within ever been any lower than $20? I'm trying to wait on it to hit the $10-$15 range but it just isn't happening.
The PS3 version was $7.99 from Gamefly a few months ago, but I don't think the PS4 version has dropped below $20 lately (it may have been $12.99 from Gamefly, but I'm not sure).

EDIT: Best Buy has it for $20 ($16 w/ GCU): http://www.bestbuy.com/site/the-evil-within-playstation-4/1693258.p?id=1219060406781&skuId=1693258

Our access administration is a joke.

I had to upload a file of users to an online tool we use to add/delete/change users on a mainframe system.  I was just told this file is to certify the users on this online system, but if I approve or remove some users the changes DONT AFFECT THE MAINFRAME SYSTEM ACCESS.  The changes only affect the "approval process for RSAM"

Thats right folks I am approving a spreadsheet of users for the online tool but not for the actual system.  So I am wasting time doing something that is meaningless because the actual system access will be unchanged and can therefore be different from the online tools records.  SO WHAT THE fuck IS THE POINT?

This is Corporate America.

evil within was $12 after gcu on black friday at best buy also
Must have missed that. I think I just stopped looking once I told myself I had bought enough games though. Could have gotten lost in the mix.

I'm going to play it eventually for the double-plat. The Evil Within was probably the biggest surprise of 2014 for me (runner-up: Shadow of Mordor), so I'm willing to look past the worse graphics.
At this point I'm not planning on playing anything twice, so I'd rather have the superior version, no matter how minute the difference.

Isn't there a GOTY Evil Within out or incoming soon?
There were rumors of a Complete Edition circulating last fall, but I think that was it. The Boxman character was on Bethesda's E3 conference announcement, though, so maybe they'll announce something there?

What kinda rum we talkin about? barcadi superior type stuff or some captain?
Captain Morgan White Rum

White is the best.

-Tyler

I only drink 80 proof rum and a lot of Captain and Bacrdi is 70 so I am glad to have found some good Captain that is not only 80 proof but white!

I almost bowled a 300 last night. Missed in the 8th frame (fuck you seven pin), but ended with a 279. I'm okay with that.

Also, work sucks. And it's going to suck even more, since one guy on my team is quitting.

Just got an email saying I'm in the track mania turbo closed beta, don't remember signing up for it but you guys might want to check your emails just in case.

I voted Cactus but I knew it'd never win. Broforce just looked more average and boring to me.

I also do a local co-op pretty often with my girl and a buddy of mine so its only downside didn't dissuade me at all.

that is only good as the topper to a flaming doctor pepper.
Nah I used to make rum and cokes with that. I do recall one time this cuban guy I went to HS with challenged me to do a shot the bartender came up with (friend of ours as well). 151 with a splash of Tabasco Hot sauce. I was like it if is just splash of hot sauce I will do it.

The cuban guy turned all shades of red and his eyes watered. He was gasping and cursed me and the bartender out. He was used to spicey food more then me but that 151 got him.

Never said I didnt like it, but I was confused as to why it would be a thread favorite. Turns out it just means that the vita library sucks so much that if everyone here doesnt completely hate it, then it's the thread favorite.

who said it was thread favorite? It was just really cheap so a lot of us bought it and it had mp trophies we could pharm making the plat really really easy. It was a competent FPS on handheld which makes it a rare breed. It aint no KZ Merc though, that game was really awesome actually.

it was fun for $5 or less.

I don't listen to NPR, but I occasionally listen to the MPR station here that's like a college radio format and play alt and local and indie stuff.  Same kind of deal being listener supported and no commercials except during member drives, but it's all music and no talk (besides occasionally between songs and to interview artists).

Though I've got to hand it to Keillor for one bit. My wife tells me he said that if Donald Trump becomes president he'd probably nominate Judge Judy for the Supreme Court.

That is pretty funny but I hope they are actually joking and realize Trump is doing what he always does. He is acting like an ass and saying crazy shit to get pub. He wouldnt actually be crazy as POTUS nor would he be allowed to be anyway. No politician ever does half the shit they say they will when they become President anyway.

I listen to NPR on the way to and from work most of the time, but not always. Sometimes I play music or podcasts. One good thing is that the DC and Baltimore NPR stations do their pledge drives at different times and I can pick both up, so I never have to listen to pledge drives.

I used to listen to Cartalk podcasts and VERY occasionally on the radio.  But otherwise no NPR for me.

I do sometimes listen to podcasts of two shows on Pacifica Radio (public radio).  However they are always begging for money.  They must fund raise 180 days a year.  They don't do underwriting but honestly not sure their always begging for money works much better.

One show I should just delete actually.  The are both technology related but low on my list to listen to.  If I don't get to them for a few weeks they might get deleted by my podcast app before I ever get to them.

Cartalk was alright, but I mostly just listen to morning edition and all things considered. Don't listen a lot on weekends.
Was the only podcast my wife would listen to if we were in the car together on the weekends. Been well over a year since we listen to one though. I still download them. I only listen to podcasts on the weekend if I am running errands by myself.

Apparently on Xbone people are having problems launching games they've already purchased and downloaded, like Rocket League. Did they retroactively put in the check-in feature they'd dumped?

Car Talk is all repeats now, isn't it? I thought they retired.
