This is the second time you have talked about Mega Bloks stuff. You realize you won the lottery and can afford Legos right? Do you buy Hydrox cookies instead of Oreos too?Iing hate dusting. The cleaning lady handled all of it until a couple months ago when there was an incident (Lost reference).
There's a large room in my house on the main level off of the living room. I don't even know what to call it. It's got French doors into it and is the largest room in the house that's not in the basement. It's where I spend most of my time here unless there's more than 1 or 2 people over. It's got my TV, a big couch, a recliner, consoles/games, desk, and all the collectible shit I have. She was dusting and knocked a big ass piece off of my Assassin's Creed Mega Bloks ship that took forever to put together. I told her just to stay out of that room and I'd do any cleaning in there.
Needless to say, it's not getting dusted as often as it was.
But Mega Bloks has the properties I'm interested in, like AC and the classic TMNT. If Lego had those, I'd buy them. This is the second time you have talked about Mega Bloks stuff. You realize you won the lottery and can afford Legos right? Do you buy Hydrox cookies instead of Oreos too?
I am a cheap bastard, but I have standards even though I don't have F you money.
Ask her if she can come over and dust my shelves during the time she would've spend cleaning that room.Iing hate dusting. The cleaning lady handled all of it until a couple months ago when there was an incident (Lost reference).

I just had my cleaning lady finish for the first time. She did a pretty good job I think. She doesn't seem to want to dust actual things. Like, she did a great job on my nightstands but didn't dust the little knickknacks that were on it. Maybe that's why? Just don't touch anything for fear of breaking something valuable?Iing hate dusting. The cleaning lady handled all of it until a couple months ago when there was an incident (Lost reference).

I have a maid.
Go to hell, you two!I have a maid.
I pay mine $80 every 2 weeks, and it takes her 3-4 hours each time. It's mostly mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping shit down in the kitchen, changing the bed linens/washing the other set, bathrooms, or whatever else I tell her to do. The kid is miraculously pretty neat and organized, so there's not a whole lot to do in her room or the play room.I just had my cleaning lady finish for the first time. She seems good at vacuuming, dusting, floors, and bathrooms. Not the greatest at noticing corner cobwebs and stuff. She said she scrubbed the hell out of my shower but it kinda doesn't look like it. Maybe my shower is just gross?
Anyways she worked for about 2.75 hours and charged me $80? Sound about right? She comes once a month, so she charges a bit more I think than weekly or bi-weekly.
Bed linens, huh? I don't care about her washing them, that would be easy for me to do. But maybe I should buy a 2nd set and get her to change them. She made the bed anyway might as well have swap out the sheets while she's at it.I pay mine $80 every 2 weeks, and it takes her 3-4 hours each time. You make more than me, you should just have someone come in and clean once a month. Stop being a cheap ass.Go to hell, you two!
Dont cheap out on the carpet pad and get some good carpet. It'll be worth it in the long run. We just did 3 rooms in the house and had the rest done in hardwood. Helps I have a friend that installed the flooring. Also had the carpet guy come measure. Getting new carpetyeah!
And it isn't steal that shit.pfft. All games released on any combination of the 3 consoles should all be cross buy. Even the disc versions.
If you cant spend the money on the better carpet getting the best pad you can afford is the the way to go for sure. When I got the house re carpeted after we moved in we got the best pad and its certainly helped keep the carpet looking new. It also helps it spring back if you move furniture around.Carpet pad is arguably more important than the carpet. I did my bedroom several years ago and glad I went with the top padding.
Justify it all you want, slob.I don't make much of a mess, that's why I only have her come once a month. I just don't like cleaning showers, bathrooms, or floors. Vacuuming and dusting are ok but I don't love doing them. My monthly expenses went down a good amount at the beginning of this year so its easy to justify $80 once a month to have a nice clean place. I just don't have the motivation to do it myself so it doesn't get done.
Yeah, there's at least a couple in Nashville now. We've got one right down the street. Haven't eaten there yet--heard the burgers are meh but the shakes are good. How did you like it?Ate lunch at The cookout, this newish chain to the area.
Got a double bacon cheeseburger, a chicken quesadilla, a corndog, and an oreo milkshake.

No, I will not be worth a damn at work the rest of the day.

Jesus. Even Stotch is thinking that's a lot of food. And he knows about eating a lot of food. Because his wife is ugly, you see.Got a double bacon cheeseburger, a chicken quesadilla, a corndog, and an oreo milkshake.

Burgers are not really meh, they are pretty solid fast food burgers. Better than mcdonalds thats for sure. Ate there a couple of times now, its the perfect combination of price, quality and quantity of food.Yeah, there's at least a couple in Nashville now. We've got one right down the street.
