Second time I've been 501st for a game on tt.

Problems with story and graphics aside, it's not really hard to see why ff7 was so loved. A lot of great rpg mechanics, fun mini games, and a bunch of side quests that offered pretty good rewards for doing them.
I'm definitely looking forward to using a guide and cheat codes when ff7 gets posted in a $1 flash sale.

If you use google music, you can upload up to 50,000 songs. You don't need to download anything, you can use the google music app on your phone, tablet, or use the site.

And just create one login that everyone shares.
Can you take the music that you upload and get it into iTunes? I have all my music organized in iTunes and play all music through it. I don't stream on my phone since I just use my iPod on my phone.

dammit derek putting a hamper on my TT goal
don't worry, you should catch me easy enough. instead of playing these short games, i'm playing long ass rpgs. plus the division comes out next week.

Had to mute your stream after a while, is there a way to mute the menu sounds? They get kinda annoying after a bit.
yeah, i think i could turn the sound effects all the way down, but that kills all the other sounds in the process.

highly doubt that ever happens. would be lucky if it ever went below 50% off.

There's an app you can download from google on your computer that lets you download all the stuff you have uploaded I believe. You can also go on a by cd basis from the website, but I think there's a limit on how many times you can do that.

Shirin the Wanderer is a rogue-like isn't it? I like rogue-likes so I'm going to keep the pre-order a while longer and see if they eventually give me the elusive double discount.

Yep. Has a full trophy list, too.

I'm curious about how the co-op mode is going to work. Sounds like you can just have friends join your game to rescue you or something if you go down. Fun idea--not sure if I've played a game like that other than Diablo where you can get help to return to your corpse.

That sounds like a good idea, but the person you send it to originally only gets your music and misses out on the stuff everyone else adds to it. I know a friend that had a server that he hosted with all his shit that was password protected. But he gave the password to all his friends and you were free to download whatever you want. But again, that costs money too.

I have a very sizable collection of shit too from my times of ripping of Zune and getting CDs from my library. But my folders are all a mess with duplicate songs and whatnot. Once I get that sorted out I'd be happy to contribute my stuff too.
In theory sounds like something Bittorent Sync would be good for. Supposedly encrypted so no one can accesses or see what is there. Unlike the original Bittorent where they could easily see who was sharing what. No idea how secure it is though.

Another issue with it is less and less people have always on desktops. I know I don't anymore. So if not enough people are on the bandwidth would suck.

But if 5 or 6 of you are sharing a 1TB or less and all had decent Internet connection it would work pretty well I think.

Just haven't heard of any real security review of it.

If you guys go this route and get busted don't blame me.

I think it depends on when you bought it. A few years ago Apple did away with the DRM nonsense. Older stuff would still be DRM though. Unless you paid $25 for iTunes match which replaces all the DRM shit (and lower quality stuff you might) with better quality DRM MP3s.

Not sure why they'd need to keep authorizing unless there was a price change on the item.
I remember people bitching about it in the game deals threads. Maybe that don't do that anymore but it was a thing a year or two ago. I only pre order a few games a year and most of the time use BB credit.

I have over 1500 CDs and I rip them in my Mac. I only bought a couple albums on iTunes.

Grabbed a No Man's Sky LE on Amazon. 20% off so that's cool.

Also, I checked my Division preorder and it's priced at $40.04. I'm not sure what kind of discount that is, but my Prime Savings says $22.84.

crunch I can let you join kilikflix, not nearly as good as munkyflix but its constantly growing.

just added creed the other day

If all goes to plan tonight, Cro and I are going to try to beat Commando mode on Resogun.  Ill stream it.  I think it would be a cool/exciting game to watch.

Try to start between 830-9pm ET.

The first time we played it together, and my first time playing the mode at all we almost got to level 20.  Cro had to do the last couple levels on his own though as I died like a chump.  We think its only up to level 20 or 25 to get the gold trophy.

EDIT:  20 phases. We were oh so close last night on our first try dammit!

lol nintendo

I mean I'd be interested in a new paper mario game in the style of the Wii one, but it really took them this long to figure out SNES emulation on 3DS?

They'll only release a dozen emulated games for it anyway. They always announce it like its a big thing, have a few games ready to go at the start, then the well dries up in no time.

nobody notice the "new" in front of 3ds? seeming to imply that only the new 3ds will get the snes games, and not the other 3ds/2ds models. not that i care at this point. nintendo is worse than sony when it comes to adding in older games. no reason not to emulate snes games somewhere else.

It's the "New" that gives it that extra 16-bit power.
