PSNOT 3.0 - Let's Talk About University of Kentucky, Baby!

Well I mean except for the fact that she's 100% made up and he's going to keep doing this "No for real next week we're going out drinking" bullshit story for the next six months. And then she'll move to Canada or something.
I dunno. If I were going to make up a story about a hot chick hanging out with me I think the story would have some banging involved. Then again he might be going for believability. :whistle2:k

You just let him beat himself up. If you stay away from him and the minions he spawns, you can just let him slowly kill himself with the electric balls (redirect any that are coming towards you) and bombs. Just move the tile with the most bombs near him and he'll take 50dmg for each of them. Towards the end you can chance attacking him if you want, but I just stayed away since the couple times I tried attacking him he completely wrecked me.
You're awesome. Took about 20 minutes and got it on my 3rd try.

Moving bombs was equally as important to save my own ass and not take too much damage.

Grabbed a variety 12-pack of New Glarus (included 1554 and Citradelic and a Rye IPA) and a 4-pack of Tank 7 on Gator's recommendation. Gonna be a good weekend.

What class did you end up playing? I didn't get hit with too many bombs, but I didn't think they did that much damage. I was around level 27 I think.

Tinkerer, and I'm at 32 now. Bombs do 4 damage, so 2 hearts worth. So if you get hit by 2 or more at once then it sucks.

Had a great day at work today. It's professional development day and I was running a table during the resource fair so I got to talk to a bunch of people about our department and what it does. Then went to the breakout sessions where I got to see two of the smartest dudes at the school present about projects they've been working on.

Fun little puzzler. Starts out simple but they keep adding new enemy types, new obstacles, and tools throughout all 7 chapters to keep things from getting stale. Move Agent 47 on the grid and either avoid or kill enemies to reach the exit / kill your target. Each level has 3 goals; completing the objective and then 2 other challenge conditions which sometimes can be done at the same time, but are often mutually exclusive. For instance a common goal is to finish the level in a maximum number of moves which you wouldn't be able to complete at the same time as killing every enemy (another common challenge goal). Moves aren't timed so you can take as much time as you want to consider your options.

There are only two minor things which occasionally annoyed me.

The angle your character move changes based on the position of the camera (which you can move using the right stick). This isn't an issue when the default camera position is like the above image where the grid lines are parallel and perpendicular with the edge of the screen. Occasionally though the default camera position is turned 45ish degrees for some reason, in which case there is a 50/50 chance pressing right might make Agent 47 move to the right or up depending on whether the default camera position is turned 43 degrees or 47 degrees. If the camera is twisted like that, to ensure accurate moves you either have to move with the touch screen, or use the right stick to twist the camera back till it's parallel/perpendicular to the edge of the screen so you can make your move. The camera stays locked in its default angle so if it is cockeyed you will have to manually twist the camera each time you move.

The other issue I had on some of the larger maps is when you are near the top of the level, it is difficult to see enemy patrols at the bottom of the map as you can't turn the camera a complete 180, you can only turn it about 100 degrees.

There are around 90 levels and those two issues only happened about 5-6 times so it isn't a big deal, but it's a shame they didn't fix it somewhere along the line considering this is a port of an existing title.

$6.39 is probably a little steep considering it is a port of a mobile game. $5 seems about the right price to pick it up. No performance issues on the vita other than sometimes the small screen makes it hard to see which direction some of the guards are facing near the back of the map.

Just remember not to use hints by pressing triangle or you'll have to reset the game to get the plat. Otherwise nothing else is missable.

I almost forgot... yesterday I was downloading all that F2P bullshit for the sweepstakes and realized I had forgotten all about that Frozen matching game for my daughter. When you make enough matches your character throws a snowball at your opponent and whoever gets hit the most at the end of the round loses. I was letting the kids play against each other and they were winning with scores like 1-0 or 2-1... stuff like that. My wife walks in the room, watches them play a few rounds, then asks if she can play. She's notorious for having absolutely no mercy when playing anything against anyone, even when it includes kids.

So she starts whooping up on them... 5-1... 10-2... and every time she won she would give a little victory "yes!". So after a few rounds of this I ask the kids if I can have a turn against mommy.

26-3....

Last night I kept tossing and turning all night and woke up at least 5 times so I was tired as fuck this morning. I ended up taking a half day at work. Normally I would have called in but we had a training I didn't wanna miss. fuck this shit!

If anyone wants to play something (Uncharted 4 or Broforce) I'm online now. Just eating soup then I'll be ready to go.

Y'all having any trouble logging into Twitch?  I was logged out on my PS4 and I get an error screen when I try to login different than a bad password one.  When I signed out of Twitch in my browser and I'm getting an "unexpected error" message doing that too.  I can't even reset my password.

You're actually safe if you accidentally hit Triangle once--a message pops up asking if you really want a hint and that confirming as much will lock you out of the Silent Assassin trophy.

Bastion plat in the books!

Main campaign was pretty easy and I thought boring.

The game redeemed itself with the challenges, giving a level of difficulty the campaign just didn't have. Frustrating at times, but tricks can be learned and it became doable for me. Glad to be done with it though.

That super mega deluxe ultra Homefront pre-order is back up in Amazon, but without the price glitch this time. Anyone's original order still intact?

Really tempted on disgaea, but the division is tuesday, and I ordered darksiders 2 with the leftover on my gift card. Not to mention I still have 3 and 4 on vita to play.

I've heard it's fantastic from quite a few people but haven't played it myself.
Yeah, it does get accolades. I haven't gotten that far yet, so we'll see. The defending part of combat is pretty unique at least. You have to move a little heart around to avoid obstacles of different types depending on the enemy. Not sure how to explain it.
